Pokemon SS or Black 2?, Need help on which one to get. |

Okay so I never bought Poekmon HeartGold or SoulSilver. They come with a PokeWalker accessory which is pretty neat.
Now the Pokemon Black/White 2 has come out like 2 weeks ago, not sure if I should get that first before the other. Can someone give me a rundown of the two games to help me decide? --------------------   ↓ These shiny Pokemon wants you to click these ↓       GPX+ Groups (click to show) |

If you have any other Gen 4 games, then I'd get Black 2 first. If you don't have any Gen 4 games, get Soul Silver first. Otherwise you're going to have to wait around to finish the Pokédex on Black 2 (unless you have someone willing to trade over a tonne of stuff, lol)

They're both really great games. I'd choose SS personally, but that's just because silver version was the first game I played back in the day. And I like that your lead pokemon walks behind you and you have access to both Kanto and Johto.
Black 2 is definitely better on the graphics, though, and that makes for a nice appealing game. The story is also quite in-depth for a Pokemon game, so you can't go wrong either way. -------------------- Click, please =3 I always click back.  |

I own, and really like,SS and Black 2/White 2, so here is a basic summary of both:
In SS you can have your lead Pokemon follow behind you, which is super cute, and you can travel and challenge the gyms of 2 regions! In Black 2/White 2 there are better graphics, Pokemon you can't get in SS, and - not forgeting - the games respective White Forest/Black City areas. To sum it up, I would chose SS, because the Pokewalker accessory makes it fun to gain exp for your pokemon by just walking! (Or, if your lazy like me, just waving it in the air, it counts that as walking to!) -------------------- Used to be Professor Mareepiea After a super long hiatus, I'M BAAAAACK!  |

I'd choose Black 2.
Mainly because it's the latest. Black 2 has a much more mature story which I really appreciate. It's not your usual, pokemon game storyline. This time, the villainous team leader is actually evil unlike those pussies from Team Rocket. (I'm not counting Giovanni. He actually kicked ass.) Also, in Black 2, you can battle every gym leader and champion from the past generations in the Pokemon World Tournament, however, you can only do this after defeating the champion.
