Hello there! I always forget to post here but I keep checking this thread to see how you guys are going.
On my side, I've finished the Johto league on Pokémon Crystal (VC) and am now SRing for a shiny Celebi. I'm praying RNG gods to be generous with me and give me my so desired pink onion fairy soon despite the so so low shiny rate. I don't know if anyone remembers but, I made a post about not being able to get any shinies on my pokemon ultra moon game since around the time the first update came out. Well, as soon as I asked my sister for her 3ds to check if it was bad luck on my part whatsoever, I got 2 shinies in the same day???? I updated the game again, to version 1.2 and I really hope this time I can actually hunt on my 3ds again. Also, I want to thank the staff for the Silvally's memories. Silvally is a great looking pokemon, I love it so much. I've started the infamous task 11. Hopefully I can get enough progress between today and tomorrow that it's not painful. I like giving the pokemon (mostly) rhyming names.
I recently joined Hello Fresh and made the first meal--a pork dish--last night. It was fantastic! My mouth is watering thinking about the other ones! I'm trying to hatch a suitable Carbink for this week's hunt. I'm suspicious though because I've only had one slot.

@Storskarfen 3 pokes with PKRS IS something to feel special about definitely. I've never had that happening to me, it's cool haha.
I've finally did the 2nd explo of the month. I did 'A Trio of Trials' in the beginning of February and 'Babysitting Adventure' now. I really like the latest because it doesn't have any of the tasks I don't like to do  Plus it's another try at a shiny I love.I haven't been trying much at Shiny Celebi in Pokémon Crystal. Guess I'll pick some anime and SR while watching it. Also, does someone have Lovestitute Plush and/or Valentinium Z trinkets? I'm sad. I was hunting Minior cores in UltraSun and found a shiny Beldum. Had it into the red with Take Down disabled, and it used Struggle, before I had a chance to either use Hypnosis or throw a PokeBall at it. Of course, it then fainted. But I have gotten all my Minior cores now, minus the shiny, which I'm not looking for.

Oh, i see. What a shame. Beldum family line is what i always dread to catch, thanks to their capture rate of 3, like most legendaries.
That also reminds of me failing to catch a shiny Kangaskhan in the Great marsh safari zone, in Platinum. That was around 2010 or 2011. I was so mad then. Give it a leppa berry, then use bestow on the pokemon you'd like to give it to and then use skill swipe on it. Then it will never run out of moves. How's it going fellas? Been a while since I last posted!
Some major shit's gone down in the past few months. First off, my old cat of ~10 year ended up passing away during November. I miss the grouchy old bastard, but my new cat helps fill that hole. Ended up calling her Rosa after Rosa Luxemburg. Had to go back to school to finish off year 12. Shouldn't be there any longer until the end of the term (so about mid-April), and then that's it, hopefully. Lastly, my parents ended up splitting after 20, nearly 25 years of being together. Not terribly shocked, seen that coming for half a decade now. Anyway, yeah, how are you lot? Anything big? -------------------- |
