Dolphin and zebra are the only ones I can think of that haven't been made yet. I think a complete shark would be nice though instead of half of one.

Well, I'd enjoy having a true T-Rex Pokemon (Tyranitar doesn't count) as well as perhaps an Ankylosaurus. And for a possible legendary pokemon....I think a http://theochem.chem.rug.nl/Gifs/hydra.jpg would be pretty cool. Anyways for modern animals, I guess I would enjoy seeing like a Komodo Dragon, Gorilla (Slaking doesn't count for me, lol), and maybe an Anaconda.

Yeah, I agree with all of those. I'd like a tiger, some kind of unicorn, and goose too. And a more frog-like pokemon, the Poli-family is mostly tadpole. perhaps some kind of tree frog, or a poison arrow.

If we expand outside animals, I'd love a more tree-like pokemon. The closest we have is Exeggutor, and he's...odd. Probably a willow, or maybe a Grass/Ghost spooky-tree. another cool concept would be a candlestick pokemon...probably Ghost/Fire.

To me the whole Slakoth family is more like http://simplethrift.files.wordpress.com/2010/01/spencer-the-sloth.jpg-animal so yeah. Like Pyron de Soto said, Gorilla would be nice.

And maybe http://www.dodo.blog.br/wp-content/uploads/2007/01/modern_dodo.jpg eventhought Doduo and Dodrio looks like Dodo. But those 2 pokemons are more like Ostrich, because they are fast.
Dodo-like pokemon fould be a slow and have high defence. And have one head.

And Panda Spinda doesnt look like a Panda..

Also from mythology maybe 2- or 3- head dog.

More feline Pokémon would be great! Especially if the legendary trio is a bunch of cats.

A hydra legendary would be cool, but I'd rather see a gryphon.

A wolverine. Not something with super claws, but a real wolverine that would be a rival to Munchlax in eating power.

A dolpin pokemon would also be nice, a noce Chinchilla based pokemon wouldn't be so bad either.

(It was on the news the other day that the last wild wolverine in the state died. How are we supposed to be the Wolverine State when there are no wolverines?)

More nautilus pokemon like a cuttlefish or a vampire squid. I see Omenyate as more as a hermit crab since it's mostly seen on land. Maybe a bat that actually has little hand like structures at the end of it's wings...and looks more bat-like. Maybe a steel-type Eevee form. That would be awesome. Ironeon xD

I can't remember where I saw this, but someone suggested a mosquito Pokemon. Personally, I think the idea sucks because no one likes mosquitos.

I'd honestly like to see something other than /another/ group of dog Pokemon (though there is Zorua and Zoroark=/ ). I mean, we get one every generation. Growlithe and Archanine. Houndour and Houdoom. Poochyena, Mightyena, Electrike, Manetric, Absol. Riolu, Lucario. Then there's Entei, Suicune, and Raikou. And then the Eeveelutions and all those fox Pokemon out there.
The only cat Pokemon I see are Meowth, Persian, Glameow, Purugly, Mew, and Mewtwo.

Though a raccoon would be cool, and a kangaroo, more cat Pokemon, otters...you know, stuff that isn't ordinary. =|

Zebra's and others that I can't think of...
Insects I can think of
Ants
Praying Mantis
Black Widow(a dawn stone type of evolution for Spinarak females )
and a Mosquito...
That's all I can think of.

Well when you compare scyther to a praying mantis the only thing that's related is the scythes...but I mean an actual like "oh look that pokemon looks like a praying mantis" type of deal... I think I explained it right...

Poochyena and its evolved form were pretty good ones. though maybe another species of hyena would be nice to see be represented. Maybe a 'laughing-hyena' Pokemon perhaps? That would be interesting to see.

Anywho, I felt like mentioning some other beasties/organisms/mythological creatures/inanimate objects. I'd love to see a Pumpkin Pokemon or maybe a Werewolf. Can't count Zoroark as one since they already called him a fox. A Pokemon that represented mountains and looked like one would be kind of cool too. A true Pterydactyl since Aerodactyl was more ancient dragon than anything else. Other animals could be....snakeheads, woodpeckers, donkeys, jackalopes, frilled lizards, and now that I thought of it...a Goblin Shark would be awesome as a Pokemon albeit kind of scary, but still.

Even though I think there are more than enough bug & grass types, there are still thousands on insects left to be made into pokemon (Mosquito's, ants, wasps, etc. ). The same goes for birds (Dove, Eagle, Flamingo, Vulture etc).

Polar bears, panda, Zebra, Lion, tiger, Kangaroo (I don't mean Kangaskan), anteater, Narwhal, Llama, armadillo, sharks (I don't mean Gible), Moose, Panther, Elephant, hyena, Leeches, Hagfish

At one point of my childhood, I did make up a hydra pokemon...and now it's a sprite.
I called it "hydrados", an evolution of gyarados.
It would be rather awesome.

The shinx family are lions. Ever seen "Kimba the White Lion"? Well, they're like that...only black.

Anywho, I'd like to see...a moose. Stantler is a caribou (reindeer).

On topic: I want to see a cooler bat Pokemon, one that doesn't spam all the caves and tunnels. A sphinx would be awesome too, and we need a gorilla-like Pokemon. And I'm still holding out for a dolphin and a gryphon.
As far as inanimate objects go, let's see a toaster/oven Pokemon (would be Fire/Electric). How about instrument-like Pokemon?
Wait, had another idea. A scissors-themed swordfish.

We've had everything from dogs to anubis' to both versions of the phoenix. It's hard to think of an animal they haven't touched base on, other than one I can think of: A sea slug that actually lives and is only catchable underwater. Sorta like the ADAM slugs in Bioshock. You can only get 'em with Dive or something.

Either that or a cockroach Pokemon, if there hasn't been one already.

My main want, though, are some real cats, not pussycats. Persian family=pussies. Skitty family=pussies. Come on developers, you've got tigers, lions, mountain lions, pumas, leopards, snow cats to choose from. I'm sure they'll do one of these for sure though; what else is there to really do?

A Bug/Dark mosquito Pokemon would be cool. And then a Chinese Dragon, preferably Dragon/Fire. Oh, and a tyranasaurus rex fossil pokemon that's Dragon/Rock. ANd on top of that, a Hydra and a Cerberus. Dark/Poison and Dark/Fire, respectively, and evolutions of Arbok and Houndoom.
