I currently have 2 shiny Pokemon in my possession.
I have a shiny Mismaguis, which I got in the shelter because I thought Misdreavus's egg looks cool. When it hatched, it was yellow, it took a couple of seconds for me to realize that it's shiny. The 2nd is a shiny Wynaut. I was looking for it's egg just to obtain it, not as a shiny hunt, and when it hatched as a shiny I felt very goddamn lucky, So how bout you? my Shiny Cresslia got it from the lab some one else summoned before the 5 min. rule then poof a shiny cresslia at first i thought it was normal but then my sister showed me it was shiny...

Only 2 of my 7 shinies have been ones I was hunting for, but one I got hatched from the shelter.
Hypno, I needed the Egg Dex entry for - it hatched shiny Hoothoot, I needed the regular dex entry for - it hatched shiny Dunsparce - I needed a party filler Totodile - Looking for a Squirtle Clone from Daycare pair without a Silph Scope. --------------------  Avatar made by TehArtMonkey  Doctor Octopus made this beasty thing. I only grabbed my Miltank because I had a blond moment and forgot they were all female (also because it was already cracked)

Yes! My first shiny was a Burmy. D8 I had no idea until I saw in my achievements that I had a shiny.
xD All shinies I've gotten were by accident, I haven't gotten any of the ones I've been working on. |

My shiny Ninjask was an accident. I was having a shiny Wurmple race with someone and we were about to take a break, so I had other eggs. Well, I ended up winning the race AND hatching the shiny Nincada.

I got my Shiny Easter Lopunny on a random rush I think. My Shiny Togekiss was obtained through a rush when they were set time rushes.
My other two, Shroomish and Ponyta were kinda accidents. I was shiny hunting for both, had both eggs in my party at once, and they both turned out shiny. Both were the first shiny hunt eggs I had obtained of them, too. It was weird. Spurt of luck, accident, whatev's. :0 -------------------- Like anime reviews, stuff and more stuff? My shiny Scyther and Stantler were eggs I picked up for their Dex information, the others were either from random eggs from the Lab or shelter or shiny hunts.

My ingame breloom just happened while I was breeding shroomish for me team.
Such an awesome guy he was. My GPX breloom I was hunting, but the one that ended up being shiny, I didn't breed (even though I breed like 100 eggs). sadly no at least not here on this website i caught 2 shiney pokemon on soul silver a drowsy and a abra.
