September Community Thread!

The August Community thread has been moved http://forums.gpx.plus/index.php?showtopic=74194

If you're new here then don't be shy! The community thread is the place to come and chat with fellow members of the site who share a common interest with you. Talk about whatever you want, whether it's GPX related or something going on in your personal life, just be sure to read the rules first before posting. There's always someone on the forums to read and respond to your posts, so chat away and maybe you'll meet some great people!

RulesMonthly Raffle

Nominations are now gone, and I'm using post count to determine how many entries you have into the raffle. The first 19 posts you have will count as one entry, and every ten after that will count as an extra. Think of it as the first number of your post count is how many entries you have. To see what your post count is, click on the number of replies any certain thread has. Nothing else on the site will influence the amount of entries you receive, so if you'd like a chance to win, then post here frequently!

The raffle is what chooses who gets to choose what's in next month's egg distribution. There are no other site advantages other than that, and even then the whole site gets a chance at that Pokémon that you chose!

September Egg Distribution!

How to get an egg from this eventIMPORTANT EVENT NOTES
  1. No, you do NOT have to be online at the time I am sending out eggs.
  2. These eggs do NOT show up in the Lab for the event. They are sent out randomly.
  3. There is ONE set shiny for each Pokémon, but every other egg has a regular chance of being shiny.
  4. If you obtain ONE of the eggs from this event, you will NOT be able to obtain another one from this same event. This means if you get an egg on day 1 of this event, you can't get an event egg from any other day during this event. By the way, abandoning an event egg does nothing. So if you get one you might as well keep it and be happy.
  5. If we find any accounts being made just to get eggs from the event then they will be immediately banned along with your main.
  6. If you were a winner of the raffle, your chosen Pokémon will be spawned into your party on the day of the event. It won't be forced shiny, but there's always a small chance just like any other egg! This will not count as an event egg and you can still receive one from the event.
  7. There is no guarantee that you'll receive an egg. There have been about 3k users online daily and there are only 1,750 eggs going out, so that at least gives you a little more than a 50% chance at getting something.
  8. Eggs chosen will not be available to pick from again for 3 months. If x egg was in the January egg distribution, then it can not be chosen again until April.
  9. The event runs at 4 p.m. server time.

First post! Happy September! I miss August already... best month full of the best birthdays.

Posted by: RicFule Aug 31 2016, 10:58 PM

Hmm. Seems like the 5th could be Victini. No idea as to what the 6th is yet.

To the PC!

EDIT - PC tells me the 6th will be Lunar Larvitar.

Posted by: Asbel Lhant Aug 31 2016, 10:58 PM

September already, dang this year is flying by. My niece starts school in a week, its crazy.

Posted by: KatTheBard Aug 31 2016, 11:17 PM

I was going to guess Diancie for the 6th, since it's associated with Carbink, but I think Lunar Larvitar makes more sense.

I totally thought someone else was going to request Floral Togepi, so I didn't request it. Plus also I've already got one you see. (/reference) Also I'm hoping for a shiny Mega! cat.gifc

Sooooo I dunno how many people have opted for Dark Saturday, but I need to (temporarily) change my Daycare pair because I'm pretty sure there are no eggs in the Shelter for it...

Posted by: Makeltos Aug 31 2016, 11:17 PM

Another month passed, 4 months to go!

Posted by: DraconicDM Aug 31 2016, 11:23 PM

Finally a new month! I've only registered five days ago (or was it six?), so I didn't have a chance to participate in any of last months special explorations. I could have started one, but wouldn't have had a chance to finish it, so I've been waiting for this impatiently. happy.gif happy.gif
Though I must say, I'm kind of disappointed with the legendaries available this month. Zygarde is the only one, that I really want from the list. Genesect is okay, but I'm not really interested in all the Regis. At least I won't have too hard a time choosing between them wink.gif grin.gif

I'm also waiting for that Egg Distribution! Especially hoping to get a Xerneas or a Lunar Larvitar (at least I think that's what the last one is).

Posted by: Rhapsody Aug 31 2016, 11:24 PM

Hi everyone please tell me how it's September already? Because help. How. Seriously. Eek.

I'll probably go for Yveltal, but who knows what RNG will grace me with.

Posted by: Walking On Sunshine Aug 31 2016, 11:25 PM

Hard to believe there's just four months left in the year! I say, bring on fall! I hope the weather will actually be cool in the next couple of months. Last year I was sweating during Christmas of all days.

And as RicFule said, the mystery for the 6th is more than likely Lunar Larvitar. Hard to believe that one had just been released earlier this year. I haven't decided which one I want yet.

Posted by: Munchlax Aug 31 2016, 11:27 PM

I guess I'll try for Xerneas or Yveltal.

I also got a rude reminder from a friend that NaNoWriMo is now two months away. Anyone participating? I haven't even had a story idea yet.

I just dropped 3 Floral Togepis too!

Yeah, looks like Sign Seven got that egg. I seem to be pretty lucky with breeding novelties; I get like two or three a day! (

Haha I either breed no novelties or a pile in a day, it's a bit annoying for my shiny hunts xD

I'm looking forward to the last pokemon in the distribution, I'm intrigued by what it might be! I think you may be right about it being Lunar Larvitar (which I am side shiny hunting!) KatTheBard

Nooope. Too time consuming. :P I like watching the booktubers I watch go through it though. Good luck!

I'm excited that it's finally turning into autumn months. The weather needs to seriously chill out.
Less than a week for competitive season 2 on Overwatch as well. So excited to try it out and finally experience a limited hero roster. ^_^.gif

Posted by: Alicat Sep 1 2016, 12:08 AM

YUSSHH foggy weather at last! I've been stuck on this dumb Gengar task for DAYS!

I've been tempted to try NaNoWriMo since I'm a writer, and do a lot of fan fics and stuff... but never have the inspiration or motivation to write more than a few weeks

Posted by: KatTheBard Sep 1 2016, 12:30 AM

Writing stresses me out way, way too much. I can only just barely get through nonfiction/research-based writing without panicking, but fiction? Nooooooooooooope.

Be sure to note achievement/pokedex/interaction/points requirements for the explorations, DraconicDM, since you said you're new (welcome btw! cat.gif )

Posted by: The Yatagarasu Sep 1 2016, 01:28 AM

Hm, the last one sounds intriguing. I started the Arceus explo for the first time earlier this week. Not bad so far though I'm sure some frustration is in store. Can't believe the year is almost over already (and i almost have a 2 year old!).

Posted by: Alicat Sep 1 2016, 02:15 AM

I think I might put my Shiny EB hunt on the back burner (again) for now... I wanna be one of the first 20 people to get a shiny Lunar Larvitar grin.gif

I WANTED THAT ACHIEVEMENT

oh well at least my gaming PC is nearly ready to be used

what's up with you guys?

Posted by: eevee64 Sep 1 2016, 04:11 AM

Seriously, where is this year going? :P Time's going so fast.

I unfortunately didn't get to complete the last task of the scavenger hunt (damn real life got in the way haha). It's the first scavenger hunt that I haven't fully completed in a long time. Oh well.

Need another Xerneas for my living dex, so I think I'll go for that in the distribution. As for explorations, I think I'm well overdue for another Arceus run, so I'll be doing that this month ^^

And I got a bit of exciting news today! Looks like we'll be getting another dog at the end of the month grin.gif It's almost been a year since our old doggie passed away, so we thought it was time for another one. We're going to adopt a greyhound this time, an ex-racing one from a greyhound rehabilitation organisation. The organisation is pretty good at matching a greyhound to suit your household, so we got an email today saying they have picked one out for us, and she'll be ready for us by the end of the month cat.gif I hope it all works out, because I really miss having a dog around.

Posted by: Alicat Sep 1 2016, 04:29 AM

I can't believe it's September already sad.gif It'll be 2017 before we know it, way to close to my proposed wedding date :s Can't believe it's been almost four years since we started dating xD

That is SO sweet to hear, Eevee! Hearing people rescuing animals makes me so happy (:

Edit: Okay, what are the odds that my novelty pair's first batch of eggs would have a novelty?! My Shiny Lunar Larvitar hunt is off to a good start <3

Edit 2: My shady Salesman FINALLY morphed into a Prankster... only took all week xD

Posted by: Cryptic Lyric Sep 1 2016, 05:20 AM

September already? Holy crap. Where is this year going?!
The event-mon seem rather interesting, so I don't know which one I want to go for yet!

Hopefully everyone who is back in school/heading back is having a decent go of it. I know I am more stressed than ever, but I think it's going to be a decent semester nonetheless!

Posted by: DemonicPlatypus2 Sep 1 2016, 06:33 AM

Ayyy, it's my birthday month! I'll go for Yveltal just so I don't have to use a coupon for it.
And hopefully Hawlucha will finally win the votes this time, after placing in the top ten the last five times...

Posted by: Cycloneblaze Sep 1 2016, 06:57 AM

Probably will go for Lunar Larvitar, just because I might get a shiny, and that'd be kinda nice. I'm also interested to see that the voting for the SWSH is already up, everybody vote Solrock - Larvesta - Snorunt, please. happy.gif

I'm going back to college next Monday. Yesterday I found a place to live while I'm there, it's not too far away and not too expensive <3 Summer's been really long, I'm looking forward to it!

Posted by: CrazyUmbreonLady Sep 1 2016, 06:57 AM

I went ahead and voted for Hawlucha, along with Budew and Murkrow. Here's hoping we finally get a SWSH for Hawlucha.

Also, I gotta remember to keep my party full tomorrow when the Latias eggs are distributed. Better to miss out on one day of completing tasks for a special exploration than to get a Pokemon you already have over the ones you don't.

Posted by: Quincia Sep 1 2016, 07:06 AM

It's September already :0

I really like to progress in my exploration, but finding exploration items take awhile it seems...
Oh and the site wide shiny hunt. I never entered it before. Maybe I will this time.

Posted by: Gym Leader Clay Sep 1 2016, 07:14 AM

It turns out that the last few days of a month go by fast fast fast when you're binge watching game grumps and (attempting) to play dragon age inquisition. I also got a new phone and the calendar app is less accessible on this one sooooo whoops.

Registeel is the only legendary I lack from this month's explorations, but I can't remember if that exploration is the one that I have zero patience for. Maybe I'll just pass this right on by since my start is slow. Mystery.

Posted by: Kaleisum Sep 1 2016, 07:15 AM

My second Arceus is close to hatching. <3
I voted for Shroomish, Pancham and Binacle (let me tell you, as I was on a fence about Kalos pkmn, now I'm in love).

Posted by: Luneon Sep 1 2016, 08:27 AM

The distribution legendaries for this month are really good choices!

I'll definitely try for the Lati tomorrow, and the one on the 6th seems kinda interesting, too. Lunar Larvitar perhaps??? cat.gif
Maybe I'll go for Xerneas or Yveltal instead if I don't get the Lati... who knows

For the swsh I voted my usual trio, hope they'll climb a little higher this time.
Yesterday I missed out on the scavenger task but I did manage to complete my exploration right before reset and start the Jirachi one.
So I'm on that now.

What's everyone's plans for September?
Ahhh can't believe it's fall already >__< Next month my Nendoroid should depart from GSC HQ

Posted by: Asbel Lhant Sep 1 2016, 09:53 AM

I was actually surprised that I won the raffle to pick a Pokemon for the distribution. I only had one entry for the whole month, I was too busy to post half the time. I woke up and saw I had a forum message, I said no way and sure enough, I won. I went with Yveltal and I see someone had a similar idea and went with Xerneas tongue.gif.

Well I found a 134IV Shuckle for the Poke Hunt this week. I haven't been able to find any Larvesta in the Shelter since it started. I'm still hatching eggs in hopes of finding a better one, but we'll see what happens.

I'm not sure yet if I'm going to participate or not. I've been writing for every year since 2012 so I was thinking if I should take a break this year and just hang around in finnish forum section and cheer others on. But then again my 2013 story is waiting for re-writing round, so maybe I should re-write that... We'll see.

I just dropped 3 Floral Togepis too!

NaNo already? Coming up? Gah! I know that I want to begin writing again (I miss it so terribly much!), but two months away? No! How did that happen?! Who allowed that to happen?!

So east coast schools open next week, eh? Next Tuesday, right? Dang. It feels like school has been going on forever out here in the west. Or is it just the defeatest attitude I have after seeing my youngest struggling (and failing) with math... yet again? *sad sigh* Oh what I wouldn't give to find a math tutor that would come to the house and spend some time with my girl. At least she's (currently) above in all her other classes. I'm just terrified that, if she can't bring that grade up, all those wonderful ROTC field trips she was hoping for... won't happen for her.

GPX related... Lunar Larvitar, eh? I wasn't thinking that initially, but here's hoping that you're all right. I'd love to vye for that one, but if I don't get the day's before then yeah. I'm going to be hoping for that one.

Congratulations to the drawing winners, too! KatTheBard, Dr Electric, and Asbel Lhant. All your choices are great from where I'm sitting because I have zero shiny legendaries. So... those are all great choices imo. *thumbs up*

As for the special monthly explorations, by virtue of how many times I've completed them, I will be starting with The Order of Terminus Cave. After that I have a tie so... which one to choose... either Dark Saturday or The Hidden Ruins. I guess I'll worry about that bridge when I get to it. For now I suppose I have to (a) decide which 3 Pokemon we all want to shiny hunt and then (b) start my first special exploration.

Here is to a more active month for me on GPX (yay! No work related meetings until October!!) and a fun month for all of us.

PS: I currently have 4 Floral Togepi awaiting release. Only thing is, currently, it seems I can't release my Pokemon. So I'll try again later today and "force" two more novelties to come along as well. So either later tonight or first thing tomorrow I'll release them for those still in need. wink.gif

Posted by: Doom Hunter Sep 1 2016, 10:55 AM

So here we are in September...I'm gonna try to be a little more active this time. Maybe. My goal for the month? Collect 3 Arceus. 7 are left. I gotta finish one of these days.

Oh, and while we're at it....

Same! (for getting another dog). OK. Ours isn't written in stone (yet), but my youngest and I are really working my hubby to see if we can really get a dog. Now that our eldest is off doing that whole college-thing, I think a dog would be really good for us on so many different levels. We once considered greyhound adoption, but we don't have a reputable adoption center nearby us to do that. So I'm trying to push for shelter adoption of a small to medium sized dog. We already have the dog's name (unless it's all been a joke to placate us from my hubby) so I really hope that we can move forward with this before too much longer. Here's hoping!

So Maryland is ahead of the eight ball, eh? LOL I think Jersey school's (maybe the entire tri-state area...) open right after Labor Day. At least, that's how it was when I was in school. Thanks for the thoughts for my youngest. If I can just get her to understand that if she'd turn in her assignments, her "F" might turn into a passing "D", that'd be a big part of the battle. My husband doesn't think a "D" is passing (it wasn't when we were kids), but the school's beg to differ. Since it is the school's position that matters with her grades and advancement, I'll be tickled pink with a "D" in math for her. *sigh* I am so done with school battles, ya know? 2.85 more years to go though.

Snorunt!! Oh my Arceus, I totally forgot about him. I voted for him in the last SWSH but it didn't take. Changing my vote to him right now. Thanks, Cycloneblaze.

I'm hoping a Grass-, Water-, or Flying-type is on the roll this time, because these are the types I have the most shards for. I didn't win July's Chimchar SWSH, but I got the Determined achievement out of it. Yay!

Still don't have Floral Togepi. Just have to be patient.

Speaking of NaNoWriMo, I'm working on a Pokémon AU fanfiction project called Sinnoh Kingdom. Basically, the gist of it is that instead of a League with Gym Leaders/Elite Four/Champion, there are modern Houses made up of Knights, Squires, Pages, and led by Lords (who are like elite Gym Leaders), ruled by the Royal Guard (= Elite Four) and the King (= Champion). Every House specializes in different Pokémon type(s), like Gyms, and they're always butting heads over territorial boundaries, tournaments, etc.

The main characters are in House Pierrot, an earth-themed House (primarily Rock/Ground/Steel with some Bug/Grass/Poison). They're glory-seeking heroic types and "knights in shining armor". Byron is their leader and Lord, and his followers/supporters include Roark (his heir), Gardenia (a highborn lady), Nando (a minstrel), and Riley (a knight).

What do you guys think? Any ideas?

I mean heck, I went to school in Georgia and we always started back the first or second week of August. Which was really stupid, because it's unbelievably hot and humid. Oh, and I did marching band in high school. I was kind of insane.

I don't think a D should be passing, but there it is, lol. Turning in assignments would definitely help!

I've only found two Larvesta myself. The first one was like 82 IVs? Second one hasn't hatched yet. But I've currently got a 140 IV Kricketune in there. Common rarity, so I'm expecting to NOT get Rank 1. But I don't really need Rank 1 anyway, since I already have the Plate and won't be getting a Shard anyway.

Posted by: irisidium Sep 1 2016, 01:24 PM

@eevee64 that is exciting news! I know what you mean, I had had a dog in the house all my life up until a couple of years ago and it's a massive change. You'll have to let me know how things go with her!

Idk if there's any significance in what you choose for the SWSH so I just chose things I was interested in: Phanpy, Fall Deerling and Seel. I'm still plodding through the Deep in the Laboratory exploration from last month so I need to get that finished up before moving on to any of this month's goodies!

Posted by: KatTheBard Sep 1 2016, 01:24 PM

I'm kinda hoping my 141 Mega Scizor will do the trick; I only need one more shard. I wasn't having much luck finding anything and my Daycare's been occupied.

I voted for Carvanha/Electrike/Kangaskhan but if there's something else that can mega-evolve that's in the top ten-ish, I'd be happy to change one or more of my votes.

e: Also, I'd really love a Deerling/Deerling/Deerling/Deerling hunt since unlike the Flabebe fiasco of 2015, we can tell which is which... :P

Posted by: Rallaa Sep 1 2016, 01:31 PM

Mawile can mega evolve.
I never really appreciated it before because I thought it looked silly, but I've recently become quite enchanted with it.
It's actually very cute from its front side.

Deerling would be cool too.

Posted by: CrazyUmbreonLady Sep 1 2016, 01:36 PM

To be honest, a quadruple Deerling hunt seems interesting, and there is a big chance to get at least most of the Meadow Plate down assuming you're lucky. And wow, they probably should have done something to make each Flabebe egg more distinct in appearance, but what's done is done.

Seems that in this thread, Budew is getting the popular vote. I don't blame y'all, I chose Budew myself because I love how Shiny Roserade looks.

Posted by: Rallaa Sep 1 2016, 01:41 PM

I just chose Budew because I recently put together teams for my girlfriend and I,
and Roeselia is a reference of personal significance for her so I thought, "why not?"

It's just happened other people wanted Budew as well. ^^

Posted by: beachbanana Sep 1 2016, 01:51 PM

Whee its september. Almost spooky time. I chose budew, for one, I think deerling would be fun.

Budew sounds fun, I kind of want one since Roselia was the first shiny I ever found in the actual games. But I like the sound of triple Deerling even more, so I voted for that ^^

Posted by: Snowsky Sep 1 2016, 02:38 PM

Whoa, looks like everyone's gunning for Budew. What the heck, I think I'll throw my vote in there too, I need two more Meadow Shards. Let's help Budew win, guys!

Everyone voting for Budew? :0 If I didn't already get a shiny Budew like four years ago I would probably cast my vote with you all. Not sure what I should vote for tbh. Most of my hunts are of Pokemon from previous SWSH events.

Posted by: FiSouthpaw Sep 1 2016, 03:06 PM

That feel when everyone are exited about shiny hunt voting and I can't even vote yet because "you must have registered before the vote opened, validate your account and become a member" : D If I'm correct the system recognizes that I have some kind of newbie status and I must now reach the member status somehow?

Probably not gonna be participating too too much in the event thing, since IDK if I can do multiple or not. Nor am I doing any special explorations (wanna complete the normal ones first!). I am, however, hoping to do the SWSH...as soon as I can get some of these 'mons evolved! (as I am working on completing my regular dex, starting with commons)

If I remember correctly, you can't vote for Pokemon that have already been used in a SWSH. So what will happen when all the Pokemon are used? Will it cycle again, or would that be the final SWSH?

I feel like Nintendo is releasing 'mons faster than we're going through them.

QUOTE(CrazyUmbreonLady @ Sep 1 2016, 02:36 PM) *
To be honest, a quadruple Deerling hunt seems interesting, and there is a big chance to get at least most of the Meadow Plate down assuming you're lucky. And wow, they probably should have done something to make each Flabebe egg more distinct in appearance, but what's done is done.

Seems that in this thread, Budew is getting the popular vote. I don't blame y'all, I chose Budew myself because I love how Shiny Roserade looks.

I'd be totally fine with that. Re: Mawile, I don't have her yet; is she winning-ish?

Kangaskhan's normal. Currently the only Ground type that can do anything fun like that is a legendary and it's Primal...

I voted for Munchlax even though almost everyone probably shiny-hunted it at some point... munchlax.gif lol.gif I tossed in Diglett and Magnemite randomly as I didn't have shinies of them.

4 Floral Togepis just released! Good luck.

Posted by: Walking On Sunshine Sep 1 2016, 03:48 PM

I hadn't chosen Budew for the SWSH, but if that's the popular choice, then that's the popular choice.

Also, I think it'll take a while before we start repeating Pokemon for the SWSH. There's still quite a lot of choices left as it is, and then there's Gen VII.

From what I understand, there is a set of achievements you have to get to not be a "newbie" anymore. It's in the base set - newbie clicker, newbie breeder, newbie hatcher, etc. Not sure past that.

Also, why budew? xD

You have to make 10 posts in the forums. If you make a post, the "Posts" counter next to your name, under your avatar, will increase, but the post can't be in a sub-forum that says "Will not increase cumulative post count".

@Jalakins & Snowsky: Thanks for your tips. I've always been that guy who aims to get all possible achievements anyway so those achievements at least will come in no time grin.gif Forum posts might consume a little more time since I easily just end up lurking and read posts instead of posting something myself.

That can't be right; I gained Member status way, way before I made 10 posts (I'm pretty sure posts 2 through 10 were in a community thread) and I joined in 2010. I think it's achievements as Jalakins said.

I wonder, that means my favorite Eeveelution Umbreon is also "Evil"
Kinda weird since it evolves through happiness xD Becoming so happy he turns evil????

Also speaking of Eevee, I calculated some stuff and I currently have a 100% Perfect IV Eevee in Pokemon GO. Shame it's a low level though noes.gif Still tempted to level it up cause I'm slowly finding the Eevee spawns... or maybe with that new feature people found in the code of Pokemon GO it will be easier...

Though, I did start working on my novel again today, for the first time in months, so that was nice.

My votes for the SWSH were Murkow, Numel, and Skiddo.

Posted by: Snowsky Sep 1 2016, 08:46 PM

It's settled. My three are Budew (for obvious reasons), Snorunt (need more Icicle Shards), and Weedle (unorthodox, but I think Shiny Mega Beedrill looks awesome, I know bright lime-green shinies like Jolteon and Scizor aren't very popular, but I adore them).

I don't know how many of you have heard about the hurricane hitting Florida right now (Hurricane Hermine) but it's supposed to pass less than 30 miles south of where I live, and the projections keep moving further north so it looks like we're going to get pummeled tomorrow. I'm waiting for my school to announce that they're closed for tomorrow so I don't have to go in, but I don't think that'll happen. I've actually never lived through a hurricane before, at least not the full brunt of one. I'm skeptical if we'll ever run out of pokemon to SWSH tbh, it's like... 18 pokemon per year, discounting the form hunts, with a new generation every few years xD

Threw in my vote for Hawlucha (you're welcome), Phione, and Snorunt... gg everything I wanna shiny hunt/am currently shiny hunting has already been a SWSH xD So I figured I'd throw my vote for what seemed popular

After my Korechu mass-release, I decided to start a hunt for Korechu as well, in case I randomly get a Shiny one of these days. The Prankster shows up for me at least once a week.

Posted by: Mamanator Sep 2 2016, 12:33 PM

I've seen the portal just the once and the prankster likes to swing by, rather unexpectedly, sometimes twice in the same week. But it has been a bit since I last saw him. I want to say a week or two, but it does seem like I just ran into him recently. But the portal? I only saw it the once. Treasure chests and the like seem to avoid me like the plague. Unless that's because I already have a stock pile of those items... I wonder... but I hate to use them when the Lab is so overly stocked with eggs, ya know?

Posted by: DraconicDM Sep 2 2016, 12:52 PM

The Order of Terminus Cave, why must you do this to me???
I'm on task 10 right now, and the task is to get a certain level 100 pokémon. I prefer pokémon from the Lab, to those from the Shelter, but this is a rare one, so I can't just find one there. The problem is that the task wants one, that I obtained after the start of the task, and not the exploration. And I hatched that exact same egg 2 minutes before starting the task. Why???
(sorry for not naming the pokémon, but maybe even this is too much spoiler?)

oh.gif Go for it!

When Snowman Munchlax was released, I was pretty ecstatic. I thought, "This is it! Enough people are going to think of Munchlax and want to shiny hunt the novelty!" But time kept passing and passing and the voting option didn't show up, and it turned out to be pre-chosen pokemon that month. I figured, "Oh, well, maybe next time around..." but unfortunately not. And I eventually got a Sh. Snowman Munchlax along the way, as well. But I still toss munchlax.gif in the pot every time it comes around. grin.gif

Hermine is gonna be passing through here as well. We're already getting a ton of rain, making me nervous for my succulents but I haven't lost any thus far. I just had to hide the desert rose under the eave because it has seedpods and I don't want them bursting open because of too much water being taken in. The winds don't start getting crazy until evening and then I guess we'll see what tomorrow brings. She's supposed to be directly on us early Saturday morning so we're dealing with the usual concerns of lights going out, making the fridge colder, making sure electronics are charged up, etc.

EDIT: Vulpix is actually Rare, and I went ahead and hunted Vulpix. I'll get Shiny Mega Camerupt later.

So apparently this "hurricane" wasn't even strong enough to wake me up or knock tree branches down in our yard. We have regular thunderstorms worse than this. Fortunately, we've had our first day under 85° since May, so it's actually really nice out!

I haven't had the prankster or the portal yet... I'm wondering what's so wrong with me that I don't get either. I don't get chests or anything like that very often anyway so it kinda doesn't surprise me.

Posted by: Stevesuke Nakamura Sep 2 2016, 05:52 PM

Ah well. I'm playing a Nuzlocke of a randomiser version of Soul Silver and there was a Mew in the Sprout Tower. Caught it and it was holding an Icicle Plate XD

Then the egg that's normally Togepi hatched into a shiny Cyndaquil and it knew Judgement so there's a tiny wee fier mouse going around Johto booting Team Rocket with Holy Judgement XD

Okay. This is kind of funny. On the first, after I got my Scavenger Hunt prize points, I had a grand total of 711 points and my ranking was 177. Today, while I was power-leveling my pokemon for the Zygarde exploration, I saw that my Prize points were now 717, since I got Rank 2 in the weekly hunt, and my ranking was 171. So, that's twice in the past week, that my Prize Points and my rank had the same numbers, but in "opposite" positions.

And also? I didn't fill my Party, intentionally, and got myself a Latias egg. Which I'm happy with, since I already had all the eggs/Eggdex info for the current crop and didn't need anything specific.

I would have clicked mine too. But I guess we need the fog to be lifted.

So, I lost another Civ V game. I was playing Babylon on Immortal, aiming for the Scientific Victory but Korea always beat me to key wonders like the Porcelain Tower and Tower of Pisa. In the end, I tried going for a Cultural Victory but it was also failing since my Great Works were converted to Culture/Golden Age early-game.

Aand, how is the ranking from scavenger hunts determined? I got a first place before when I sent in a Shiny Infernape, but the next shiny I sent in only got me to 3rd Place.

Posted by: DraconicDM Sep 3 2016, 07:33 AM

Are you talking about the Poké Hunt, or the Scavenger Hunt? If it's the Scavenger Hunt, there are no ranks, only how many tasks you could complete

The rules for the Poké Hunt are explained in the help page. It counts rarity, IVs, whether it's fully evolved or not, and if it's shiny (and a few other things that are not explained). If you got 3rd place with a shiny, then probably everything else was very bad about it. Though I don't know how much being shiny counts.
This week a Heracross or Volcarona with good IVs was worth a 1st place. I don't know about others. (Last week I registered a day or so before the hunt ended, so I just sent in the first Poison pokémon I found, and got a 3rd place)

Its one thing to mindlessly search for a shiny hunt Pokemon, but another to dig into the IVs and stuff, something I am inherently garbage at--

I soloed through the current version with Delta Venusaur, but now that I know about the rebattleable Audino breeders, I'm considering expanding my team when the final version is released.

Normal, but I had to cheat on the first two gyms dry.gif I started with Delta Bulbasaur too but I hit a lot of walls. idk why I'm having so much trouble with it, haha. I'm considering doing a randomizer run once I get through the current content, bet that'll be fun...

e: My daycare pair produced a Deibot egg last night. Donating now, so good luck to whoever wants one!

What is Pokemon Insurgence? :0 if you may pardon the Big Dumb Question? I actually stopped playing the main series games before x/y because no 3ds lmfao. Or is like a romhack?

It's a fangame. It's not a ROM hack; it's played on RPG Maker. Its features include
-Pokemon of different types than normal called Delta Pokemon (based off the concept of the same name from the TCG)
-Custom mega evolutions
-Items replace HMs
-New weather effect called New Moon (and the full release will include Sandstorm and New Moon Castform)
-A few Pokemon like Flygon and Tyranitar can wear a suit of armor
-Difficulty modes and lighter or darker story mode

The story is about stopping five cults who are each after a specific legendary Pokemon for their own reasons.

Currently it's up to the 6th gym. The full release is coming out soon. It'll have two regions + a few other places.

*Checks game folder* Shockingly don't have that one. Will have to read more about it.

And yay, finally out of the "newbie" stage! (because I'm too lazy to click anything other than eggs or exploration Pokemon x.x)

Posted by: KatTheBard Sep 3 2016, 02:28 PM

Orion was A W F U L. East was easier to beat on Normal than either of the other difficulties for some reason. Good to know, thanks!

Threw in my vote for Hawlucha (you're welcome), Phione, and Snorunt... gg everything I wanna shiny hunt/am currently shiny hunting has already been a SWSH xD So I figured I'd throw my vote for what seemed popular

Edit: So I just read pokemon Go news on fb... and apparently they're bringing out a "buddy system" that lets you have one of your pokemon follow you! So cool!

Yaaay grin.gif
I'm excited for the buddy system too, I hope I can walk my perfect Eevee first. Second up I wanna walk my Dratinis.

Most of my favorites have been chosen tbqh. Either that or I got shinies of them outside swsh. but I did vote snorunt because glalie and frosslass are both v good.

I agree, Glalie looks really badass, especially in Mega Form.
And Froslass is just a cutie! I already have Glalie so I definitely want a second Snorunt to try get a Frosslass.

I've seen the portal just the once and the prankster likes to swing by, rather unexpectedly, sometimes twice in the same week. But it has been a bit since I last saw him. I want to say a week or two, but it does seem like I just ran into him recently. But the portal? I only saw it the once.

Same here. I haven't seen the portal yet so idk what the requirement is.
I'd like to get one someday though! Just for the sake of filling the dex.

Speaking of filling up the dex: I got today's egg!
Definitely didn't see that coming but hey nice for the dex
I didn't have the entry for it yet cause it's one that isn't one of my favs.

I got me a Xerneas as well!

It took me about a day to finish up the feeding task for Genesect. If only that fog didn't roll in not long after I started it. But the story still makes me sad. As for my other exploration, I'm still deciding. That Charmander feeding task for Regigigas is just as frustrating as that Salamence one.

Posted by: CrazyUmbreonLady Sep 3 2016, 03:45 PM

Yeah, I got the Xerneas as well! Another Legendary added to my PokeDex, egg and non-Shiny Pokemon when it hatches. In addition to that, I completed The Order of Terminus Cave, so now I got a giant black snake Pokemon waiting to hatch. konata.gif I'm on Dark Saturday, because even though I got a Genesect from the Safari Zone already, I don't have the Egg Data for it, nor have I completed the exploration yet.

Posted by: Gym Leader Clay Sep 3 2016, 04:09 PM

Mmm, reckon I will check pokemon insurgence out one of these days. interesting reading up on it nmhmm!!

I, too snagged a Xerneas. I remembered to keep a slot in my party free for once, even if it was like thirty minutes ahead of time. WHOOPs. I'm never picky about these events because I always forget to leave a party slot free so I'm just ooh, well, I'll just take wHATEVER, I guess. I'm positive that Xerneas is one of the pokes I am missing so good on me.

Posted by: FiSouthpaw Sep 3 2016, 04:19 PM

I seem to have gotten Latias egg yesterday while I was gone. That is like my first special egg ever so lucky me I guess : D And started shiny hunting Seviper too so wish me luck. Hatched actually few eggs already before byuing that shiny recorder and making my hunt official but naturally nothing yet. I guess next buy should be all the shelter passes I can get so I can grab more eggs.

Blargh, I hate how much high-maturity eggs I have in my party right now. It's slowing down my Vulpix hunt A LOT. And I have an exploration Pokemon occupying another space.

Well, at least I reached 2,000 Pass Orbs last night, so I'm two-thirds away from the achievement, and I finally managed to evolve my Graveler to get the Kanto Dex achivement. I've already complete the Johto Dex and I'm almost done with the Hoenn Dex, I think.

Got my Yveltal egg in my party, thanks Jen. I'm going to be going after another one for the Distribution, I didn't get Xerneas yesterday so hopefully I get Yveltal(or mine hatches shiny *hint hint*).

Had a bit of bad news today.

Spoiler (click to showhide)

Other than that I've had a pretty good vacation so far. I saw a few family members that I haven't seen in 2 years. I'm going to be going into the city tomorrow with my grandmother. She has a few appointments with her doctors that she has to see. We'll be in town for 5 days, more than I thought we'd be in. I have a 4-5 hour drive ahead of me but it'll be fun!

Posted by: Charchou Sep 4 2016, 03:21 PM

Thank you for the Yveltal! Found out about this event from the 4PM popup yesterday that referenced this thread. I don't think this was an event back two years ago when I last played GPX!

Congrats on the shiny, Asbel! And my condolences for your family friend... really sorry to hear that.

Well I didn't get a second Yveltal egg. I am going for the distribution tomorrow instead, hopefully I get that one now. I'm a bit bummed about missing Xerneas and Yveltal but oh well. I already have my raffle egg, so that's not too bad.

Charchou: I didn't get a shiny one, I was just saying I'm hoping to get one XD.

Posted by: Varys Sep 4 2016, 05:27 PM

Yay! I got my Yveltal egg. From the distribution this month, it's the only I lack in the Pokedex so I'm really happy about that.

Posted by: CrazyUmbreonLady Sep 4 2016, 07:02 PM

Congrats to everyone who got a Yveltal egg! My Xerneas egg and Zygarde egg are close to hatching, so I can hatch more Vulpix eggs. Though I'm a long way from completing my task for the exploration.

Posted by: Cryptic Lyric Sep 4 2016, 07:12 PM

I haven't gotten a distribution yet, but that's okay! I've been so busy lately that it doesn;t really surprise me.

Five classes, first semester commuting, and my boss is over-scheduling me at work. I wanted to be capped at 30 hours, tops. I had 32 this past week, and have 36 for the next one, including a Labor Day shift tomorrow. The paycheck will be nice, but... I am already burning out.

Posted by: eevee64 Sep 5 2016, 03:30 AM

Whoops, it's been six pages since I last checked in here...looks like I'm going to have a bit of light reading to do later tonight/tomorrow :P Been a bit busy with uni work lately. It's mid-semester time so there's always a bunch of tests and assignments happening at once ^^" Only two more weeks and we get a week off though happy.gif

I did a fair bit of Pokemon Go over the weekend so now I'm at lv24 and have 112 dex entries grin.gif I also set my mum up with an account so she can play for herself. Before she was just playing on mine or my sister's. She seems to be playing it more than us at the moment :P

I'm loving the new Streetpass games they released on 3DS! I think it's about time it got another update because the number of people I've Streetpassed this year has been way lower than the last two years (I'm pretty serious about my Streetpassing haha). So hopefully I'll start getting some more around campus again!

Posted by: Alena Sep 5 2016, 04:53 AM

I did plan to leave place in my party for Xerneas, but then I completely forgot about egg distribution and got it anyway only by coincidence. Today it hatches and I'm like "wait, was is that white before?". Well, I'm never opposed to random shiny legendaries.

It's September, which means the 3th anniversary for me! The site hasn't changed drastically since 2013, but there always comes something new to occupy me. On the other hand, it means also that I met only 3 Old Men over 3 years, and that doesn't really sound very promising.

Posted by: TheBloodWitch Sep 5 2016, 09:25 AM

Thanks for the yveltal egg! I've been really busy with moving so it was quite a surprise when I saw the egg in my party!

So, in the world of Pokemon Go, I found a 700CP Eevee. And I was out of balls. I was so sad!

Posted by: Asbel Lhant Sep 5 2016, 05:27 PM

Well I didn't get today's distribution Pokemon either sad.gif. I think this might be the first time I've ever not gotten a distribution Pokemon if I don't get one tomorrow. I doubt my Yveltal egg from winning the raffle will be shiny, guess I used up my luck on Korechu XD.

The drive on the highway was pretty good, it was my first time driving it so it was quite the experience. There were times that I went over 100km and didn't realize I was doing so. At one point I looked down and I was going 140 blink.gif. We stopped once along the way to stretch our legs but it took a little more than 4 hours to get there. It was definitely a fun drive, I'll be glad to do it again on Friday happy.gif. I will have a bit of money to spend shopping tomorrow, it should be fun.

Hope that your new dog plans work out! grin.gif We were making a list of names to call our new greyhound, because we thought we wouldn't like its existing name. But the one the adoption centre picked out for us is called Sable, which I thought was a cool name ^^ So we're gonna stick with that.

I'll definitely be posting pics of her when we get her cat.gif I've only ever had the one dog before, and I literally grew up with her. Wow I've been quiet this month. Still having anxiety from school so I have really felt very talkative. Also stayed home Thursday and Friday since I was sick and I missed today as well since I'm going to the doctor's, so I'm also a little stressed about how much stuff I may need to make up (but the 6 day weekend was really nice). I figured by now my anxiety would be gone...
Honestly, I can't wait for summer again - and I haven't even been back to school for a whole month. Still thinking about doing online school again but I'm leery about that since it didn't go well last time I tried that. hmm.gif

I didn't get Yveltal from the distribution, so I'm going for Lunar Larvitar today (hopefully that is what it is) since I never actually got the egg for it yet.
Also still need to finish the Mew exploration. I started it the last couple days of August but I still haven't even progressed from the first task. Hopefully I can get it finished in time. I've been pretty addicted to Tumblr lately so I haven't been on here too much. tongue.gif
After I finally finish this exploration, I'l probably move on to the Zygarde one. After that I'm not sure. I haven't done either of the Regi explorations, so I'll have to decide between one of those.

I summoned a Lugia egg with the Enigma Stone but someone else ended up nabbing it. Though I did track down who got it, and luckily it wasn't shiny.
Then the Shady Salesman finally transformed into the portal for me a few days ago. happy.gif

Also for the SWSH, I voted for the same ones I voted for last SWSH: Frillish, Shroomish, and Oddish (the "ish" trinity lol.gif )

I have no idea what is going on with Sun and Moon, but that's okay. I just know I need to preorder the games pretty soon.

Apparently today has been a good day for my Dark Ekans pair, because I've gotten 3 novelty eggs in the last two hours.

I'm not sure what other exploration I want to do this month. I just finished Zygarde, but now I don't know which legend to go after.

We thought he was gonna die, But he lasted more then 5 minutes so we rushed him to the vet.
They put his eye back and fixed his jaw as much as they could and we had to take him to over night care emergency clinic.

I have to bring my nan back to another appointment today. She has to go see the doctor about the test she did yesterday. We also have plans to go out somewhere today. I'm not overly sure where we will be going but hopefully she doesn't mind going to the mall. I have a bit of things I need to pick up before we leave on Friday. My aunt will be bringing us to Costco tonight so I can get some new pants for work.

My vacation is almost over, Tuesday afternoon around 4 is my flight. I won't be getting in until 9 pm that night, hopefully they don't have me scheduled to work the next day because I was jet lagged horribly coming in, going back will be the same way. I just hope work has changed since I left, if it hasn't I might have to look for work elsewhere.

I just got my fifth Flame Shard. From what I heard, though, it takes a long time to complete DotW. If I back out of it, does that mean my Flame Plate will be used up anyways? Well, either way, it seems I won't be able to do much during this month's SWSH if I don't complete it before the hunt officially begins. worried.gif

Kudos to those who were eligible and received one of this month's Event Egg. I'm pretty happy with my egg (which is still working on hatching because, yeah, well, what do expect when you haven't been on the site *smirk*) and whatever it hatches as I thank the winner who chose it. *happy dances*

It looks like there has been a lot of talk about Sun & Moon out here lately. I haven't read any of the spoilers, but am definitely interested in visiting the Pokemon website to find the latest trailer releases and information leaks. *snicker* I'm less than $14 away from having paid for all 4 of our games so I'm super excited for its release. While I wait, I suppose I'll keep playing Omega Ruby (I am now at 5 gym badges and working my Pokemon closer towards the finish line. However, with leveling up to level 40 currently, I have a ways to go before battling any super boss-like types.

In relation to GPX, I am clicking away this morning and hope to advance further into my current exploration. Of course, in order to do that, I just had to run into this wild, frozen bat critter. Poor thing. It's so cold! So any sour patch of berries you run into (Aspear) would be most appreciated. Thank you!
http://r.gpx.plus/kWIOG

In other news things are pretty much par for the course. My youngest is failing math and I am finding myself backed into a corner because I can't get her to turn in her blasted homework. I am planning on speaking with her tonight and letting her know that if she doesn't turn in the majority of the assignments by the end of next week that she is going to be loosing her electronics. I just don't know what else to do. I was hoping that if she would just turn in her freaking homework that her F would become a D, but it has gotten even worse and I noticed last night that she's missing even more homework assignments now. I feel at the end of my rope and frustrated as all. It would seem that the threat of loosing out on her possible ROTC jaunts doesn't even inspire her. Because if she's failing a class she won't be able to go participate and so I really thought she'd try. Guess I was over reaching. *mope*

Sorry for venting there, but thanks for allowing me to. I've got to email her math teacher and ask if they know of any tutors there at the school. Teachers or students that want to make $ and can either meet with her after school or come to our house. I need to do something... just don't know what anymore. *sigh*

You probably won't finish DotW before the hunt starts, I'd even say definitely. Your plate is only marked as used when you actually finish it, however, and not if you quit - and even then it's not consumed, you keep it and can't use it again. So it's only possible to complete DotW so many times.

I've been breezing through exploration tasks lately. Especially the "find x Pokemon at x level" ones. I've almost always been finding what I need in the shelter above the required level.

Not me. I've been looking for leveled pokemon, but haven't been able to find them, so I've been doing them manually. And I'm about to go do that for my current one, as well.

So, the best IVed Eevee I've found so far, has been a 129 one. And I'm expecting that one to only reach Rank 2, But, I'll keep looking until reset, so maybe I can find one higher. IF I can find Eevee eggs, anyway.

SWEEEET! So I had started a side-hunt for S. Scatterbug last week during the pokehunt... and just hatched one in under 20 eggs o:

And I just realized I forgot to leave a spot open for LL yesterday... oops. Atleast I bred two yesterday anyhow lol

QUOTE(Mamanator @ Sep 7 2016, 06:37 PM) *

*sigh*

I think something might be bothering her on an emotional level.
Instead of talking about punishing her I think you may have to try talk with her about what's going on in her mind and what she's feeling.
Maybe someone's not being nice to her at school, or maybe she's feeling depressed and empty about something.
One thing I learned through social media: young people will NEVER start talking about their feelings UNLESS it's with someone who won't "judge them" for it. Even if you tell them 99999 times it's ok, in their mind it's NEVER ok to start first.
You as caring person parent thingy have to make that first move.
And it might be pretty severe so be sure to not sound like you're overly worried or like you're judging her because that can make it even worse.

I think she might just be scared of something, and that something might be at her school.
You never know in such cases and you should really have a NICE talk with her, not a judging "I am mad at you, you need to obey me" type of talk because those never work and just make people feel even more terrible.

Human feelings ain't my strongest point I am aware of that, but I also learn through trial and error ^^;
Hanging with people who DO feel a lot of things at once teaches me a lot of useful stuff I never thought about before.

Just assume the worst and if it turns out to be less terrible then that's nice.
But just be sure to reach out to her in a non parent-y way. She really does sound like she really needs someone to talk to her, someone who could understand her, someone she could drop her deepest darkest feelings with. And yes that's difficult.
REALLY difficult.
Like it can make people feel really horrible. I don't know how to explain it properly.

--------------------------------------------

I was browsing the web today and I noticed that some site had Litten Plushies for sale... and I missed out on the pre-order fml...
I really hope they'll get more in stock, or that a local store somehow managed to get their hands on 'em but I fear the worst :/

Today's shopping trip was great, bought a couple pairs of pants and a new hoodie. I found two great t-shirts at EB Games, as well as a Majora's Mask Puzzle. I probably won't put it together anytime soon, but it was a great find.

I already put a Jolteon into the hunt with 149 IVs, but I'm still looking for either of female of that or a Tynamo with good iVs. We'll see, though.

GPX has been acting as my therapy lately. With work, school, and everything else, just being able to sit and do something mindless like clicking is pretty great. I've also taken to clicking with one hand while holding a book and reading it with the other. Keeps my hands occupied, at least.

I partially lost my train of thought because one of my cats just came into my room and started pushing his face against mine in order to get attention. He's a big fat cat, so he usually gets all the attention.

Edit: I just sent out 10 or so Sky Gifts, so enjoy!

Why do you need a better one? 149 should be WELL inside Rank 1.

And yeah. For the most part, I'm always reading when I click if I have a ton of clicks to go through. When there's not that many clicks, it might be a different story.

So I've made up my mind. I don't think I'm ready for DotW yet, especially since I'm not that good at battling on GPXPlus to begin with. I'm gonna have to learn more about battling (which I got a good head start by using Gems on the high-IV Legendaries and Mythicals I'm currently training). For now, I'll just keep Shiny Hunting and complete more plates.

I can't wait for the SWSH! Assuming there are no types of Pokemon that I already have a Shard for, I might hunt for Budew assuming it makes it into the SWSH selection this month.

I'm also gonna breed some Novelties to get the Egg Data for them as well. Hopefully I'll get at least one Novelty's egg data before I have to switch out for a SWSH Pokemon.

Jolteon. It's better all-around. Higher egg-steps, higher IV total. Same Rarity. Already going to be a Rank 1.

Speaking of Jolteon, I just found my entry: a 152 IV Male.

@ Kat: I have a high level female I haven't released yet, since I recently finished that exploration. You want me to release it? I'm about to go to work, so I'll wait until I get home if you're going to be around around 9:30 PM Eastern or so. {Work until 9 PM Eastern, and then time to get home.}

Not much, my coach texted me an hour after we had an appointment to tell me she had to come later.
Probably an emergency or so.
It's fall, after all.

Let's see... when she finally showed up, I took her grocery shopping with me cause my dad wanted some extra items he couldn't be arsed to get himself >_>
I can't carry all that so I got her to help me out.
Idk what happened to her though because she kept kinda portraying her own feels and thoughts on me and I really didn't know what to do with it.
Guess the emergency must've been rough... if there was one.

I caught a few Pokemon on the way there and I was going to go after this Venomoth but by the time I finally found the right direction it despawned :/

Other than that I didn't do anything cool or interesting.

Oh hey, I never knew Novel Power was a thing. This might drain my Pass Orbs a bit, but it will be worth the egg data. In fact, I just got the egg data for Eternal Floette and Lunar Larvitar! grin.gif

Unfortunately, I used up both uses of Novel Power, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to get another guarantee of a Novelty.

Has anyone ever told you that you are a very insightful person, Luneon? My girl definitely has emotional issues and we have been aware of them for about a half year or so now. Maybe a tad longer. She's been in counseling (and supposed to take medication, but I seem inept at getting her to take them....) and I try to always be available to talk freely with her about anything. On more than one ocassion she's come to me and asked "what is more important to you? My grades or my overall well being?" Uh... um... *scary thoughts whiz through my mind*

So yeah. She's definitely someone I need (pardon the pun) kid gloves with. I didn't go off on her last night. Instead, when we chatted (briefly) about her math homework, I stressed the importance of finishing the back work and how she won't be able to participate in extra curricular ROTC events if she is failing math. She said she knew that and that she was working on the assignments. Hopefully that was truth. She's always been one that I could never read whatsoever so I have to take it at face value.

But thank you for your kind words yesterday, Luneon. That was very sweet of you.

Does anyone else here still play Animal Crossing: New Leaf? I'm looking for some fruits (as long as they're not cherries, apples, lychees, persimmons, and mangoes c:). In return, I could give you any of the previously mentioned fruit and some random fortunes (they get you Nintendo-themed items grin.gif)

Posted by: CrazyUmbreonLady Sep 8 2016, 06:51 PM

I have all of the fruits on Animal Crossing: New Leaf, though I haven't picked it up in months. I certainly hope Antonio didn't move away!

But yeah, I'll be able to give you some fruit tomorrow. I don't really require anything in return, since it doesn't mean that much to me anymore. Just go around my village and grab as much fruit as you like.

School was... ok today. I didn't get too much homework to make up. It would've been a fine day if my anxiety wouldn't have me stressing out. When I was in Digital Communications I had checked how many assignments I was behind on and it showed about 4, which doesn't seem like a lot but of course my anxiety has to make it feel like a big deal.
I talked with my mom again and told her that I was still having anxiety and one of the things she said was that if someone tries to be perfect with everything it usually causes stress, which I think may be part of the problem since I'm always trying to get As or high Bs and I have a huge fear of failing (which to me that would be a C). Though, I usually don't have a problem with getting those grades, but I still really stress out about it. But I don't think that's like the whole thing... Idk really. My mom told me that she's gonna try to find a professional for me to talk to so maybe they can help me figure out what exactly is wrong and stuff. And I hope that helps because I'm really tired of having anxiety. Lately it just makes me unmotivated, unable to really enjoy stuff I like, and I've also haven't had much of an appetite.

In other news I finally finished my drawing of Team Dark from Sonic! I scanned it and now I'm working on coloring it on my phone. I'm gonna try going lineless with this one, which might be kinda difficult since I've never really done that much. tongue.gif

I got the Lunar Larvitar from the distribution, so I have the egg data for that one now. Now I need to work on getting it's evo's data.

I really need to get myself to work on this Mew exploration before it ends on me. I'm only on task 5 but I really don't have any motivation to click right now. worried.gif
I guess if it does end before I finish it won't be too bad since I've already done this exploration before.

I kinda wanna try out Animal Crossing but I still need to finish up a ton of other games. teehee.gif I still need to work more on my living dex in AS. I'm hoping to finish it by the time Sun and Moon come out. I think I'm a little over 600 atm?

We have this small jewelry box mini dresser kinda thing and when the bottom drawer is pulled out it plays music (and it winds up in the back). Also it's sitting on top of a desk so whenever someone opens and closes one of those drawers on there it makes the jewelry box's bottom drawer slide out a bit and start playing music. Which just happened a second ago and the thing wasn't wound up much so it was going slow and it sounded pretty creepy. tongue.gif

Well my luck with getting a good IVd Eevee to evolve into a Jolteon is a bust. I have hatched so many Eevee eggs but the best I could get was a 126IVd Jolteon. I really doubt it'll get first place but I won't get the time to hatch any more eggs.

I have an early day tomorrow, my grandmother has an appointment at the hospital to get an injection in her eye(OUCH). We have to do a little bit more shopping tomorrow to pick up things we forgot. After her appointment is over, we have a 4-5 hour drive to go back to her house. It'll be a fairly rainy day so I'll be taking my time.

My vacation has been awesome this year, I'm just sad its almost over.

I got lazy this week b/c no multipliers and the best I could come up with for the Pokehunt was a 112 IV Tynamo. Oh, well. Can't wait for the SWSH so I can start hatching eggs like a madwoman again. Go Budew, yay.

Still getting used to college. This campus is ridiculously huge but I'm finding my way around it, slowly. I'm super paranoid about people stealing my stuff every time I go out, so my dorm is always locked. Also, I learned that a metal thermos smells horrible if you don't clean it out regularly, even if you put nothing but water in it. When I opened mine today, I thought something had crawled into it and died or something. Never making that mistake again.

Prankster again. Good.

Posted by: Asbel Lhant Sep 9 2016, 05:36 AM

Well despite me not believing that my Jolteon would get Rank 1, it did grin.gif. I don't know if there were a lot of people using Eevee for the Poke Hunt but I'm surprised it got first. I was expecting at least Rank 2. Oh well, I'm not going to complain about getting first and getting 12 Prize Points.

The weather this morning is absolutely terrible. I knew that it was going to rain today but this is a bit much. It'll be raining all while I'm driving on the TCH, I just hope we don't run into a moose or something. I'm definitely going to be taking my time, especially if it is going to be raining as badly as it says it is. The Island is getting anywhere between 50 and 70mm of rain today, ick.

Thanks for inquiring, KatTheBard. It's difficult to have too many "throw away" courses/classes in high school (at least over here) because they still need the majority of their core classes each year. But she does have two "fun" classes - at least I hope she think's they're fun! Her first is 2nd hour in Choir. I think she is enjoying that class... she doesn't talk about it much with me. Her favorite is the last hour class, ROTC. She is doing really well in that group and is learning some discipline as well (not that I've been a push over). I had (mistakenly?) thought that her desire to be a part of the ROTC and participate in their class field trips would have been enough for her to ensure that her homework was turned in and she reached out for help to get her grade up when needed. That hasn't happened yet. *sigh*

I was just texting with my husband and we're going to see if we can arrange a meet with her math teacher and the ROTC Master Sargent. Hopefully between the four of us adults we can work something out with tutoring and all.

Kudos on those two special visitors, RicFule! I'm still hoping to back into a portal myself one day. LOL But at least the Prankster likes me. It's been a couple of days or so now (maybe more like a week), but those chests and Manaphy and the portal... gah! They hate me. Also sounds like you are working your way through the DotW plates. Congrats! I've got 4 plates that I can forge so I'll probably try again after the SWSH ends this month. Not sure which one to try for next. Flame, meadow, Spooky, or Zap. I might try the Spooky one though; all things considered since Halloween is closing in on us. LOL

Oh, and kudos on your female, KatTheBard. It sounds like you've been hunting for one for a while so glad that hunt finally ended for you.

As for GPX and me... I just stumbled into a Dark Saturday and, while hatching a high maturity egg without the advantage of a multiplier, I opted to work on one of my many outstanding shiny hunts. Oh my goodness, guys. Oh my goodness. irritated.gif I've been the worst mod ever. Just... so awful. I've been away from GPX+ for longer than I ever have before, although I sort of do have a good excuse for it: I've been moving to a new house. It's only ten minutes away, but the whole process has been so slow. We could have done things faster, but my folks and I decided to move stuff from one house to the other a little bit per day without rushing anything. I mean, it's not like we HAVE to move quickly as we're not selling the old house yet, but I really just want all of this to be done already. Today, I'm going to finally bring over the last of my stuff. The old house is mostly empty, but there's one room in particular that's still filled with stuff, and... yeah. Ugh. I hate the moving process. Plus, we've had a lot of things get in the way like friends visiting, some trips, work piled on me, problems with the upstairs AC, etc.

I'm just worn out, man. I need to go to a yoga class soon. Might as well use my membership.

I didn't really look through most of the August Community Thread, but I'm pretty sure people talked about Pokémon GO. I've been so into that game. It's just as popular here as it ever was, a thing I am thankful for since I can hit up lots of parks with tons of Poké Stops. I'm currently at 104 Pokémon seen and caught and am more than halfway to level 25. grin.gif

I hope that everyone who has started school/college has a good year! Don't stress out too hard, take time for yourself, be sure to study, etc. Been there, done that. I'll definitely reiterate the studying part to the folks now in college: you probably are overwhelmed by the amount of free time you apparently have now. Use it! :P

Anyway, hopefully I'll actually check on the site from now on. I've just been so overwhelmed. @_@

Posted by: Mamanator Sep 9 2016, 02:24 PM

Wow, Synx Itax! It sounds like life has definitely had you hopping! Totally understand about the absence during all of that. It can't be easy! The last time I moved I was... like... 23 years younger. *shudders* Dang! Moving is so not my thing (either)! I know I'll have at least one move left in me and I just really hope that it is a number of years from now still. We had a neighbor across the street move just one house over from where they used to be. I thought that was crazy, but they said that their first house was just too small and that they really liked the area.

In regards to Pokemon Go!, I just checked my Pokedex. I've caught 70 and seen 71. I'm level 18. My strongest six Pokemon are:

CP 1086 Arcanine
CP 927 Sparky (Jolteon)
CP 914 Electabuzz
CP 849 Goldbat
CP 789 Magmar
CP 752 Fearow

It's really difficult for me to gym battle (I think the majority around me have invested real world cash to level up to 2000 plus), but if I catch the gym by my house just right I can take that gym. Although I have lost it more times than I captured it (if that's possible - LOL).

As for Sun/Moon, I so need to check out those spoilers and trailers as I am out of the loop on that. Definitely excited for its release - next month sometime, right? -

There's a gym immediately across the street from my house. I often look out my bedroom window and see someone pulling up into the parking lot (it's the neighborhood pool/playground/BBQ building) to try and take over the gym. If a non-Valor person does it, I can just go outside and take it right back. Hah.

Sun/Moon comes out on November 18th, I believe.

*EDIT*
I've got some news back from my daughter's math teacher and thought I'd share it (for those listening to me worry). There is geometry tutoring Mon - Thurs after school in one of the classrooms and the teacher opined that it really does just come down to my daughter not turning in her work. sad.gif So the teacher is going to try and remember to ask her about the homework every day its due to collect it from her (maybe she isn't turning it in because she is waiting for the teacher to ask for it??) and, if push comes to shove, she mentioned that she could assign mandatory tutoring for her. This way, if nothing else, she'll be "forced" into a location where she can sit down, work on her math homework, and have it completed and ready to be turned in. She also agreed to meet with us (before school) so I just have to figure out what day's I'm not taking my girl to her counselor(s) and see if her daddy can join us for an early morning pow wow.

I haven't played Pokemon GO but I thought it was having issues with updates that make it worse than at launch or something? Idk, I'm not sure I would want to play it. I'd only play when on a walk and wouldn't get far in game.

I'm still hatching Novelties. After using up my novel power last night twice, I got lucky with Rustor and got an egg fairly quickly. I'm hoping the same will happen with Past Misdreavus tonight.

Laptop should be coming Monday or Tuesday. Maybe it'll spark some interests.

Been looking at upgrading to the iPhone 7, but it won't arrive until October so I might just wait as I don't know the exact address of where I'll be staying.

Dunno if I'll be around here much longer either. Really starting to lose interest now..

ended up having to put our cat down yesterday after he got hit by a car on tuesday... he was doing better then they found something and he would have been paralyzed in his face and we didnt want him to suffer so we just put him down. I dont know when we are gonna get his ashes.

As for pokemon talk... im still not that excited for sun and moon. as for pokemon go i rarely play it anymore it got kinda boring and since they arent working on actually bringing out the trade and battle features theres no reason for me to even think about playing it more. i dunno, maybe thats just me.

So I wound up not being able to go to the game tonight since my arm's in too much pain from the vaccine they gave me (even though I wanted it later, they wound up giving it to me -_-2.gif). I also managed to break some of my fingernail off, so that also hurts. It seems like if somethings going to hurt on me, it will.

Anyways, CrazyUmbreonLady , I can head on over to your town any time from now until 8:30ish PST. As I said, in return, I can give you some fortune items.

-EDIT- I finally got my coelacanth! Time to donate it to the museum!

Apologies for the crud ton of flowers in my town. That kind of thing happens when you got the Beautiful Town Ordinance since you could do ordinances.

I've played PMD: Red Rescue Team when I was nine and the GBA games were on sale. I only beat it once when I still owned the cartridge, then I was stupid enough to delete the save data. I beat it again last year on an iPhone emulator, and this time the ending made me cry.

Oh cool, rank 1! Glad I listened to RicFule about that Jolteon!

Pokemon Go was kind of exciting for the two times I opened it at work today. A Vulpix and a Tauros appeared!

So, funny story. I usually work 6-2 at the gas station I work at. So, being the dutiful employee I am, I showed up at 5:50am this morning. Clocked in at 6. My boss then told me that I get the schedule wrong and didn't have to be there until 9. I could have slept in.

Also, could you please give this gal an Aspear Berry? http://r.gpx.plus/ucIOG

It's okay! I'm actually quite jealous, since a few of my flowers wilted. I opted for the late night ordinance (forget what it's called) since that's usually when I play. Again, thanks for the fruit! I'm sure my town's orchard will look even better now!

I tried making a strawberry and dragon fruit smoothie and it didn't turn out too bad. Surprising since out of season strawberries are slightly tart and I didn't add any sugar or dairy.

Well, it wasn't just me. I know someone else said the same. And actually beat me to the response, since they posted while I was still typing.

I need to get Go working well. My bag is full and I can't do anything to get the contents down, since I can't stay in long enough. I can barely even see WHAT I have before it kicks me out.

Well, I've had my music playing for a while tonight. I have an ... eclectic playlist and it's already started itself over. Playlist includes wrock, mashups, parodies, covers, and even a few "normal" songs.

Speaking of wrock, I finished reading Cursed Child today. Took me a day to do it. Now I just need to decide which of my three new books to read next.

EDIT - And I just found a Tiny Egg. That's three of the Header events today.

Uh it's just that the web brought me into contact with a lot of people with the exact same issues and I've been given a dive into their point of view.
It took me a LONG while to analyze it since hey we all know I am the person with the emotional range of a teaspoon xD
I just got lucky with those experiences I guess...
It just sounds exactly like what those people told me from their point of view

I'd say keep a close eye on her (but not too close that it gets uncomfortable) and let her know she's more important to you than anything else because when people start thinking their grades are more important, it can go down really fast and really unnoticably.

Might be useful to start a talk with someone who has experienced the same things your daughter feels.

Take it from the auti, dealing with feels people is REALLY difficult. Like you just never know what to do.
Anything can be taken the wrong way so you have to pick your words and phrases very carefully, and especially if you're in a position of authority that must be even worse.

I wish you loads of luck and strength with this situation because it's hard from a web friend's perspective but it's even harder from a parent's perspective.

Today..... I had a super busy day. Two appointments at once, double cleanup, didn't really get around to anything.
I'm only 2 Pokemon away from Lv16 in Pokemon GO.

That leads to a couple of questions. Or more.

1. How does the post you quoted tie into Harry Potter?
2. What is the range of "Accio"?
3. Can you use Accio on a person or is it just for objects?

I've been to Berlin as well as many other European cities. I liked it very much; there were lots of neat statues (lots of dragon ones!) and arches and historic stuff as well as nice, modern districts. Of course, this was back in 2004, and I don't remember too much. However, I'm just a fan of big European cities in general, so perhaps my opinion isn't that helpful. x) I do recall quite a few trees.

What's it called?

As for Pokemon you're hunting, I just checked the rankings for you.
20 users seem to be breeding Swinub.
Only 4 users are breeding Vanillites.
and only 5 users are breeding Cubchoo

Cubchoo and Swinub have "Ground" as common egg group so it might be a wise idea to collect heart sweets and put those two together to profit from both cat.gif
Or you could do Vanillite due to vanillite being the most "rare"

The only bootlegs I want in my collection are my two bootleg GBA games (Super Mario Advance 3 and Pokemon Ruby - they were both given to me with other real games, so I didn't spend a penny c:).

Yesterday I went to a street festival, then a party. Board games tonight, most likely. My actual birthday is Tuesday, but I have a lot of work to do..but I did allow myself a massage that day, and I'll also preorder Pokemon Moon while I'm out. Fwhee~

The Pokemon GO Plus is available for preorder here tomorrow...gonna have to get in quick because apparently there is pretty limite stock. In theory it sounds good, so I hope it actually works well. Anyone else going to buy it?

I doubt it. From what I read, it only alerts you to Pokémon that you already caught, so that alone removes its usefulness for me. I think it also doesn't allow your app to run in the background, and the screen might still need to be on? I'm not entirely sure on the details, but unless I looked at some incorrect info, it doesn't sound appealing to me. If it grabs items from Poké Stops automatically, that would be pretty cool, but not enough for me to care.

Edit: Okay, so apparently you have to collect the items on your phone after the GO Plus tells you about the Stop. Ugh.

A few things can tip you off that an item is bootleg. As you said, the price might be too good to be true (which is especially the case with Pokémon cards, for example), it may be rather poorly made if it's something like a plush (bad seams, wrong details, etc), and the tag might say something really bizarre. There may be misspellings, things having weird names, etc.

Addendum: If you're ordering online, bad spelling/grammar in the description that looks like it was written by a non-native English speaker is a huge red flag. Check the reviews, see if people say the product is poorly made or if there are no reviews at all. Also, for either online or in RL, look closely at the product you're buying (or the pictures of it). Bootleg toys usually have sloppy paint jobs, coloring errors (e.g. a Zorua toy being purple instead of black), and white circles with black dots for eyes.

I've been so unmotivated to click lately. My Luvdisc hunt is going nowhere. But good news: my friend came over and we had a great time watching The Incredibles. God, I love that movie so much.

I preordered it this morning and since then have read a lot of mixed reviews about it...starting to doubt my purchase a little, but I'm going to stick with it. I'm getting a bit tired of having to walk around everywhere looking at my phone in my hand (while playing Go), so as long as I can put my phone in my pocket/bag and the Go Plus will tell me if a Pokemon or PokeStop is nearby, I won't be too disappointed. Not sure it's worth $50 though :\

Just realised that today is my 7th anniversary on here! Defnietly 7 years well spent cat.gif Can't believe I was 16 when I started playing...seems like forever ago haha

I've been wanting to make a Shiny Hunters group, but I'm a bit hesitant. It's meant to be a group just for Shiny Hunters on both GPXPlus and in the mainstream games, but I'm afraid it will not get approved with the GPXPlus Shinies part because of the now-dead Shiny Lovers group, and I'm not sure what rules are necessary to provide proof you have Shiny Hunted before on a cartridge game outside of screenshots. :/

The statisstics page is going straight to my bookmarks. I was wondering if there were people still breeding Snow Munchlax and the floral togepi, only those two missing that I can't get from something else soon.

Never heard of that brand either. I find myself with something like a hangover after drinking some energy drinks, so I tend to be cautious about them. It isn't really the caffeine, but something else as some do it and some don't. Unless I'm really falling down I usually eat an apple and it keeps me awake.

For me it's the sugar (or quite possibly the amount of sugar). Like, I can't drink super sugary coffee drinks so I always just get black coffee. I would get super headache-y and ache all over like I was dehydrated (because most likely, I was).

Incidentally, is there a way to see the current vote totals for the SWSH?

If you'd prefer to have sweeter coffee, try doing cold brew.
It cuts down on the acidity and bitterness in coffee and lets you use less sweetener.

If everything works out, I'll be coming out here to look for work. While it isn't set in stone yet, I'm hoping something good will come my way.

At least when I get back I'll be getting my hair cut. It is getting quite annoying to deal with. I've been waiting for an appointment for months but everyone was full. Thankfully my mom got me an appointment for tomorrow.

For the Poke Hunt this week I'm sticking with Larvitar and Aerodactyl(when I find them). I haven't found anything good just yet but it only the first day. Aerodactyl eggs are a bit hard to come by compared to Larvitar so I'll probably stick with that.

Can't wait to see what the results are for the SWSH this month. I don't think what I voted for is going to win but you never know. Last time I said that Ekans ended up being a SWSH Pokemon.

There are a couple of armor tutorials on youtube, it depends on what you want it to be. For hard I've used pvc tubes with some friends or plastic panels. Both melt slowly and let you bend and mold them before actually get too damaged or thin. For something softer or thinner cardboard or other hard paper boards work, they are easier to make into curves and you can put them together with regular tape. Also cutting it is way easier than with pvc. If you have the cash there is some aluminum sheets they use for roofing, not the zinc wavy panels. It is bendy and relatively easy to shape, not so much to cut unless you get the appropiate scissors. Last but not least, for quick stuff some Papier-mâché smoothe out with tape will do the trick. Hope you are feeling better, by the way.

I still haven't made up my mind on the pokehunt, will go with what I can get with the appropiate rarity.

!!! I was working on a Bastion cosplay with my dad we use EVA foam for almost everything when we make costumes like that. EVA foam is those mats that go on like workout room/garage floors that fit together like puzzles. Since I didn't have it done for this weekend im working on a Hanzo cosplay I'm about to go sew some things right now and I'm in martial arts so I have the pants and top which are just a gi uniform.

My Larvesta - Snorunt - Solrock trio got a respectable number of votes, maybe one of them will come up eventually. For now I'm going for a red Arnaldo. grin.gif

Snorunt got itself to #34 with 26 votes.
Wooper on #95 with 15 votes.
And Phione on #127 with 11 votes.

I'm going with Budew because flowers. I can't even remember what I voted for. I kinda pick randomly anyway.

I want Sun and Moon to be out already. I wanna play a new Pokemon game~!

Well, looks like I'm going for Hawlucha this month. I already have a Budew, and Anorith... well... maybe.

Also, I just hatched a Shiny female Aerodactyl. Too bad the IVs are only like 95, or it would be a pretty sweet entry.

Congratulations!

3.2x multiplier does a happy Snowsky make. Budew won, as expected. Hawlucha too, but I'm rather surprised by Anorith. Going for Budew first. Meadow Plate here I come!

My other two picks Weedle and Snorunt were near the top, but didn't quite make it this month. So was Corsola, I'll probably vote for it next time.

I didn't expect those SWSH picks. I'll go with Hawlucha this time. I was so sure Fletchling would win.

I knew I shouldn't have shown mercy to the baby spiders I found bunched up next to my house. Now two months later, there are spiders spinning their webs on all of my windows! There's another, bigger spider that creeps out of its hiding spot at sunset but it leaves them alone during the day. I'm surrounded!

I have no idea what to do for the SWSH as I already have shinies of all three. I guess I'll go with Budew.

Hmmm, I think I'll take care of that last DotW task this week (finally) so that I can... start it all over again. I just forged a Meadow Plate the other day.

I think you'll need both anyway to get the third one
I hope my friend who is gonna get sun will trade with me xD (and yes I'm heavily leaning towards moon atm)

Posted by: Leorobin Sep 14 2016, 01:20 PM

I'm going for Anorith first, if I end it I'll go for budew probably.

As for SUn and Moon, I don't see a handheld console in my near future so I'm not really keeping up to the news. It is amusing to check the spoilers here, kinda saves me the search :P

Which is better: a 126 female Aerodactyl or a 129 Tyranitar? I'm going to keep looking, but I anticipate this coming up again, so I figured I'd ask now.

Posted by: CrazyUmbreonLady Sep 14 2016, 01:45 PM

I'd say the Aerodactyl, @KatTheBerd. Because it's a female and females are harder to find than male Aerodactyl, it might get you more points.

I myself submitted a Tyranitar with 117 IVs. I'm hoping for Rank 2, though Rank 1 will be a pleasant surprise.

Posted by: Kazuko Himura Sep 14 2016, 02:26 PM

Personally going for Hawlucha in the shiny hunt.

Aerodactyl would get the gender bonus, Tyranitar would get the egg-step bonus. Depending upon how much either gives, I would say Tyranitar, since it's a multiple stage evolution, compared to Aerodactyl's single stage. Since Megas are not thought to count.

That being said, I just hatched my entry: a 164 IV Larvitar. Which will be evolved, of course.

And yes. Hawlucha is my choice even if I don't need a Fighting Shard. Where are you finding the info on rankings. Snowsky?

EDIT - It seems, I left a name out. Oops.

Hello Everybody!

I have been enjoying today's multiplier as I prep to find the male and female Pokemon for this month's SWSH. Found all save for a female bug so... ugh. Yay for Dittos (when push comes to shove)! Not sure which one I'll begin with, but I'm thinking of getting the tough one out of the way first... the bug. Then I'll be real interested in seeing a shiny Budew. Totally.

In the meanwhile, I've been clicking to find my breeding pairs and working through the most current exploration tasks. I'm up to that one where my poor, poor Pokemon has been frozen. Poor Salamence! sad.gif So if you are in our neighborhood it would be super sour-not of you if you could toss Salamence an Aspear berry. We promise not to show our sour pusses if you can lend a berry to the cause.

*link removed and placed in current day's post*

As always - thanks my fellow explorers! There is nothing sour about you at all. Nope, nup, nyp.

Oh! And in regards to KatTheBard's inquiry about Aerodactyl v. Tyranitar... I have to agree with RicFule. I would say the Tyranitar because (a) it's IVs are slightly more then the Aerodactyl and (b) it can evolve (if you still have time to). And kudos, RicFule, on that nice Larvitar find! Mine is like, 30 points below yours. I don't think I'll be a threat this week for first place. *blush*

Ah, thanks! I'm quite excited to be one. I've been hoping to become one on here for a while now. cat.gif

None of my votes for the SWSH made it. I didn't expect them to though. xD.gif
I'm gonna go for Budew first (definitely my favorite of the three). Then probably Hawlucha then Anorith.

Still having lots of anxiety from school. I wish this would stop already. There's a very good chance that I'm gonna be switching to online school and hopefully that'll help. If not then I don't know what to do.

So I was just looking around on Dorkly and I found some beautiful cosplay puns. My personal favorite are:

Dumbledora the Explorer (click to show)

The Dood (click to show)

Aladdin on his Magikarp (click to show)

Master Chef (click to show)

Also, two days ago, we went to our fair. I wound up getting some nachos for dinner. They were really good, only I wound up regretting it because my mouth felt like it was on fire :c I also had a chocolate funnel cake, which was REALLY good (I get one every year). I also got pictures of some crafts I saw (including a really cute Oshawott drawing and some clay Pokemon) that I'll have to get off of my iPod. As for the horses, I met a horse named Epona, and she seemed friendly c:

Thank you! And on top of that, I hatched a Shiny Eevee, too. That makes seven of the little guys. I just need a female eventually!

I already have shinies for most of the top ten, so I'm not too upset with these choices!

I decided to put my sh. Aerodactyl in anyway, at least as an entry unless I find something better. Not too concerned with first place, but it would be nice!

Today's multiplier is great, but I can hardly keep up with all the eggs!

Those are amazing <3 Thank you for sharing them with us grin.gif
My favorite is the Magikarp Aladdin

Just checked some of my Pokemon in GO and I somehow caught a 90+% IV Gastly! How cool

Welp, I guess 136 IV Larvitar is the best I'm getting for this week's hunt. I don't want to try to hatch another batch otherwise I might not have enough time to raise it in time. At least I'll get 2nd place. :/

136 IVs MIGHT be able to eke out a Rank 1. But why wouldn't you have time to hatch and level? There's still all day tomorrow before it ends. And if I'm not mistaken, it's also going to be a plus day. Might not be as good as today's bonus, but ...

And even if you DON'T have time to level it completely, if you find one with better IVs, a full level might not even be necessary.

Because I was thinking today was Thursday. I am bad with dates. c: Yeah, I guess I should keep trying for a better one.

No worries. I thought that last week. I refreshed the page on Thursday, and was like, "Um. Why hasn't the pop-up shown up telling me where I placed?" And then, I saw that the PokeHunt icon was still active, and was like, "Oh. It's still got another day. Today is only Thursday."
