Ok so.
Some Moves that certain Pokemon can use make absolutely no sense at all. Wooper can Learn Ice Punch. Wooper Doesn't have arms. Clefairy can use explosion VIA Metronome. Owch. Meowth and Starmie can both learn Thunderbolt. They don't have special electric-producing sacs like most electric Pokes do. Got any others for me? -------------------- |

Machoke can learn Fire Blast and Toxic, but it makes sense to me.
Lets see... Electabuzz can learn Fire Punch (I think) and Magmar can learn Thunder Punch (I think). -------------------- |

Every single Pokemon being able to learn Toxic via TM. Wtf!? I could reel off a list of examples of Pokemon this just doesn't make sense on, but I'd be here all day.

Kangaskhan can also learn Surf. Lapras is able to learn Thunderbolt as well which makes no sense. Oh, and Mew learns Mega Punch by leveling up even though with those stubby arms it would highly ineffective.

I bred a Sneasel with Surf. It's an ice type. Wouldn't using a water type move be a little ironic?

QUOTE("Zoe") Diglett can learn scratch. With what? The dirt around it? Diglett and Dugtrio are moles, which suggest that they have actual bodies. I gotta agree with the Meowth comment. I have a Persian that knows Thunderbolt. Another one that I just thought about comes from my gameplay of Pokemon XD. How the heck can flying pokemon learn Earthquake!? I think Latios and Latias can learn it. This post has been edited by TeeTop: Jun 21 2009, 11:15 AM -------------------- |

I think Latios and Latias can learn it. Well I believe the reasoning behind the Persian/Meowth using thunderbolt is that they use like static electricity or something from rubbing their fur. diglett neer shows more then just it's head. I think they are only called mole pokemon because they dig. -------------------- |

Gyarados does learn bounce and it makes for a epiclulz movset.
How about Kangaskhan learning sing in XD? It is possible but I don't think that it would sound very nice.... Arceus learns fly. Skarmory who is a steel bird...learns fly....wouldn't it be too heavy?' Dragonite learns Dive which makes no sense to me. -------------------- |

Nidoking can learn surf even though he's half ground o_o
And Starly/Pidgey can learn fly. Sure they're flying, but how can anyone expect to fly on a bird that's not even the size of your own head? -------------------- |

Diglett can learn scratch. With what? The dirt around it? Adding to that, Dugtrio can learn Aerial Ace. >>; It can even learn Sucker Punch. Even Arcanine can learn Aerial Ace for some reason. And Lapras can also learn Thunder. Though, of course, Water Types can summon rain clouds through Rain Dance, so we can guess that the same is done for Thunder, but still...
