Soul Silver

My DS Lite has seen a lot of love since I got it second hand a few years ago, but for all it's been through, it's not really all that damaged, funnily enough. It sounds 'loose' when shaken a bit, and the edging of the 2nd screen creaks whenever the touchscreen is used, but there's no cracks, dents or chips on it anywhere at all.

My GBA and GBC weren't nearly so fortunate. The GBA broke when I dropped it by accident, got a big ol' crack on it and refused to play anymore. The GBC suffered an untimely demise when my youngest cousin (now a young lady) stuffed orange segments in the cartridge slot. I was so annoyed by that as I couldn't play Crystal anymore, but she was just a toddler at the time and it was my fault for leaving it around where she could get to it. I've treated the DS Lite a lot more carefully than I might have normally done thanks to my experiences with its predecessors!

Both of my Gameboy Colors are covered on scratches but they work remarkably well especially the first with was bought second hand.

As for my DSi XL it's literally brand new XD

My Gameboy COLORs (Green and Red) still work fine, I didn't destroy them as a child.
As for my DS Lite, it's gotten a few scratches and dents and it's kinda dirty on the sides, I should clean it.

As with a lot of white DS Lites, the hinge on mine has snapped so it can't support itself... meaning I end up hitting myself in the face if I accidentally let go of the top screen while playing a game while lying down.

My Game Boy Advance was in very good condition, considering all the times it has been dropped. Unfortunately, I lost it I while ago, and still don't know where it is. shakefist.gif
The first DS Lite I had was beaten up pretty badly. I cracked one of the hinges (so it swings close all the time), my sister put a scratch on the top screen, and I wore out some of the buttons and the touchscreen, so they no longer work. It really is no surprise with all the playing I did on it though.
Luckily, my current DS Lite is still functionable and perfect, although a bit of paint is chipped off the front. I make sure to take even better care of my gaming systems now. smile.gif

Nowadays, my DSi that I bought the day it came out, now is dirty, a bit sticky, and it's L and R buttons are nearly unusable. Why don't I throw it away and get a better one? My Flipnote has like 4 years worth of art.

Gameboy pocket - battery cover is taped shut, scratches galore.

gameboy color - less damage than the pocket, a few scratches

gameboy advanced - scratches

ds lite - suprisingly little damage for a 5 year old system.

yeah babey

My DSlite has EXTREMELY loose hinges and questionably functional L/R buttons. Part of one hinge has come off and the top is littered with scratches. It also has dark spots on the top screen from a gamer rage moment where I stabbed it with my stylus.

My DSiXL has part of the right side of the screen and a tiny bit of the bottom part being 'dead', which is VERY annoying in Flipnote. [As in if you scribbled a line on it in Flipnote it would bend away at a part] This may just be an alignment issue. Or because I dropped it several times. SEVERAL. TIMES.

My Wii had one of the flaps on the top missing for a bit, and now it just has the stand of the sensor being un-sticky.

The Playstation I own [classic gray] has all the disks being VERY scratched, so it rarely plays games [all are demo disks from when my bro got Playstation Magazine though]. It hasn't been touched since '08.

My GameGear was lost 'forever' between '05 and last year. In case you don't know, it's one of the first handheld games [1980s] and is a bit bulky, similar in shape to a GBA. The screen is inverted and dim, and the battery + charger refuse to work. The games have vanished, all but Cool Spot and Tetris.

My laptop's cord-put-in-thing-whatever is busted, so it's dead.

MAN I SUCK.

I got some new systems, so I'll update my list:

DS Lite: Had to trade in my Coral Pink one because I accidentally dropped it on the floor of my garage. And when I tried playing it, it wouldn't work. crying.gif
DS Lite (2nd): Touch screen is kinda wonky, because I played so much Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia and Guardian Signs on it. irritated.gif

3DS: Same problem as my 2nd DS Lite. mellow.gif
3DS XL: This one's in pretty good shape. happy.gif

Gameboy is missing a battery compartment cover but it's otherwise fine.

GameboyAdvance is also missing it's battery compartment cover but it's also fine.

GBASP is fine.

DSLite bottom screen doesn't work at all, the shoulder buttons don't work unless I use some compressed air on
them every ten minutes, and the d-pad is loose.

DSi shoulder buttons also don't work unless I use some compressed air every ten or so minutes.

3DSXL is totally fine, but it's only about two weeks old so it being in pretty awesome condition is kind of expected *shrug*

My GBC, GBA and GBA SP are completely fine.
DS is fine, bar scratches and a decal which has half peeled off.
However, DS Lite has a broken hinge and the L button doesn't work.
DSi's L button also has a few problems, but they seem to be fixing themselves.
3DS is completely fine.

On Flipnote Studio only, my Dsi has poor calibration and a spot on the touch screen that doesn't respond.
