How dare you group the tuba with those other inferior instruments you call "brass?"
TUBA IS THE ONLY REAL BRASS INSTRUMENT! Lol, I'm a tubist, obviously. I started band on trombone but then I switched to tuba in sixth grade, and it's been my instrument ever since.

I've been playing Trombone since 5th grade an am apparently quite good at it. Even better at Euphonium, though, which I've been playing about a year and a half (switched instruments last year).
Superbone and Valve Trombone are perhaps the most epic instruments ever made. -------------------- |

I play the recorder which drives my family mad!!!
It sounds too shrill for anyone but me!!! Well, I guess it's not that lovely a sound. I've been playing it since year 3 (second grade) and when school starts I will be in year 6 (fifth grade) My brother plays the guitar and he plays in the school rock band and in a band with his friends. I WANT TO DO THAT TOO!!! I wouldn't play the recorder but I can sing. For those of you who don't know, the recorder is like a flute but instead of playing it sideways you play it in front of you. -------------------- [align=center]~I am GTS+'s Violent and Dangerous Rioter~

I don't know about you people, But I believe that the voice should be added to the poll. It's just like all the other instruments, and has the same responsibilities. I am an accomplished singer, and I am sort of...I don't know...hurt. I'm sorry, don't tsake this as a rant, its just that I love the voice as my instrument. I have played many others (Bassoon, Violin, Piano, Bass Clarinet) But nothign give me greater joy than the voice.

Well if you can play Tuba, you can learn Euphonium and Trumpet quite easily... the latter requires learning of the treble clef, though. Trombone is also an easy instrument once you know the fingerings -> slide position conversions.

well, i play accoustic/electric guitar,
i sing fairly decently, i play the trombone (from high school) play bass drum (before i played trombone in band i was the LD kid banging on the bass drum with no rythym....that was me) im in an as of yet unnamed band, thinking TQQ and the cyndaquils lol i'm guitar and lead vocals. anyone have some names? --------------------  |

The hardest part was the ledger notes... but I like watching all of my friends try and count the lines to see what notes I play. Trumpet is so much different from tuba however. I've tried before, back when my sister attempted to play trumpet, and my lips practically fell off.
