So the prize for the recent shiny hunt was a Potato Battery, and judging by the sprite a blatant reference to Portal 2.
What do you think It'll do, based off the fact that it's an evolution item?
A funny thing that happened was that I nicknamed my Shiny Porygon "Wheatley," another blatant reference to Portal 2. I nearly laughed myself out of my seat when I saw the item in my inventory, thinking I was a monster. xD

it will prolly be a curruption item for dracowymsy im just assuming they havent finished it yet they tend to release alot of things before they finish what there for

There isnt a new novelty yet for it because on completion stats in the dex novelty is still at 79 pokemon and thats what it was at a few days ago

I'm thinking if it is a corruption item, it might be for Magnemite or Voltorb. I'm just having trouble FINDING one of those to test.

I think it will be used to corrupt eggs because of the similiar pricing to blue stones and corruption orbs.

My bet is that it's a corruption item of some sort, the problem is figuring out WHAT sort.
... Porygon would make sense, but that has been disproven, right?

I've looked through a bunch of Pokedex entries and I don't see any corruptible Pokemon that weren't before, but I could have totally looked through the wrong ones.

I wouldn't be surprised if they made a Porygon/GLADoS novelty. But that is unlikely, because of fossils last time

Glad I didn't evolve my shiny Porygon all the way to Porygon-Z, but I want Akihi to stay as a Porygon2 forever.

Coincidentally i did a second shiny porygon hunt to get the shine master achievement, since site wide shiny races are the only time i can hatch eggs efficiently. I would have never expected the other sh.pory to be this useful. One step closer to shiny collector

nah, i evolved my shiny P2 to P-Z....
a real shiny poke is more important for me a novelty ^^
I used it to a normal P2 which I had as LV100

Yes, it works on regular porygon2's as well.
I'm going to hang onto mine for awhile until I get my shiny gulpin then I'll put in my awesome porygon x ditto breeding pair and try to get a shiny out of them to get a shiny porygon T.

Hm. Not my favorite. :s Still, I can appreciate that it's going to get a cult following of some sort here... It's just not my thing.
O well, new novelty is still pretty cool. 
I don't think I'll use it on my shiny, though. I'll wait it out for awhile.

I like this Nov. I haven't played either Portal 1 or 2, so the joke went over my head, but it's an amusing Nov. nonetheless. And I really hope that Porygon eggs can hatch with these, 'cuz I want a Porygon-T really bad. Now if only they did a Golden Sun Novelty, I'd be all over that (quelle surprise.)

I expected "corruptable" Beldum (head looks like changeable core) but that's great too.

It's weird but... Just days before the hunt ended, I change my status to "How are you holding up? BECAUSE I"M A POTATO!". I wasn't in the hunt but... It's starting to creep me out.

to the people on page 3, Porygon can hatch with a Potato Battery...so even if you didn't win the race,
you can still get a potato battery and a normal Porygon-T

I made a mistake so ignore my post i miscounted
Edit: I missing fossil tirtouga and evolved form and i thought it counted as 2 instead of 1 and when i got porygon t it went to 78/79

It was 75 before the new fossils, now it's 79. With the new Porygon novelty it should be 80, but the admins have to change the novelty count manually and they probably didn't remember this time. It took them awhile for the Christmas Ghosts, too.

I think the "mouthy potatoh battery" IS GLAdOS, if you ask me. Someone I know played the game, and when I say that, it made me think of GLAdOS.

I'm horrendously sad that I didn't participate in this hunt. Part of it was my lack of a ditto, but I wasn't really active this past month; coincidentally playing Portal 2.
I heard there are other ways to attain the Potato Battery? I want at least two. One for a Porygon and the other just to lug PotaDOS around.

Well, I was rather half-arsed when it came to the hunting, and thusly didn't (helped in part by the damning inability to click at the time), and thusly I didn't get anywhere with that-ANYWAY, then just after, I hatched my remaining eggs, lacking shiny-ness, and lo and behold, the first one yielded a potato. So that turned out well.
And just so you know, the potato IS indeed GLAdOS.
