Talk about whatever you want, whether it's GPX related or something going on in your personal life, just be sure to read the rules first before posting. There's always someone on the forums to read and respond to your posts, so chat away and maybe you'll meet some great people!

Rules

• Regular forum rules still apply here. Basically don't double post. Don't ask for clicks every time you fill your party. Unless it gets out of hand*, I'm okay with you linking to an exploration Pokemon who needs a specific berry.
  
  *out of hand meaning I don't want to see Pokémon being linked just for leveling or if they need drinks for happiness. These kinds of interactions can be handled just fine by being in your parties and signatures.
  
  
• Do not post your shinies here, there's a http://forums.gtsplus.net/index.php?showtopic=5491 for that. Discussing them is OK though! Just make sure you add content to your post.
  
  
• Make sure your post contains worthwhile content. If you're posting an exploration Pokémon to be fed berries then be sure to add other content to your post. Same with discussing shinies. Find people to reply to or start a discussion yourself! Your post must, with the shiny portion and berry feeding hypothetically removed*, not read as if you're talking to yourself. To clarify, your post should not be an out-loud thought to yourself, and should contain more general discussion than just information on your current shiny luck.
  
  *if you were to read your post, skipping over any mention of shinies, the post should still sound like a good post.
  
  If any posts are found breaking this rule then they will be instantly deleted and handed a 10% warn.
  
  
• Do not post your GPX+ gear grinders in this thread either. There's also a http://forums.gtsplus.net/index.php?showtopic=49472 for that. This is mostly for raging at staff or site events that you don't like.

Monthly Raffle

Nominations are now gone, and I'm using post count to determine how many entries you have into the raffle. The first 19 posts you have will count as one entry, and every ten after that will count as an extra. Think of it as the first number of your post count is how many entries you have. To see what your post count is, click on the number of replies any certain thread has. Nothing else on the site will influence the amount of entries you receive, so if you'd like a chance to win, then post here frequently!

The raffle is what chooses who gets to choose what's in next month's egg distribution. There are no other site advantages other than that, and even then the whole site gets a chance at that Pokémon that you chose!

How to get an egg from this event

• You must keep at least one slot open in your party.
• You MUST have logged in sometime on GPX+ in the last two weeks.
• You can not be in the restricted group.

IMPORTANT EVENT NOTES

1. No, you do NOT have to be online at the time I am sending out eggs.
2. These eggs do NOT show up in the Lab for the event. They are sent out randomly.
3. There is ONE set shiny for each Pokémon, but every other egg has a regular chance of being shiny.
4. If you obtain ONE of the eggs from this event, you will NOT be able to obtain another one from this same event. This means if you get an egg on day 1 of this event, you can't get an event egg from any other day during this event. By the way, abandoning an event egg does nothing. So if you get one you might as well keep it and be happy.
5. If we find any accounts being made just to get eggs from the event then they will be immediately banned along with your main.
6. If you were a winner of the raffle, your chosen Pokémon will be spawned into your party on the day of the event. It won't be forced shiny, but there's always a small chance just like any other egg! This will not count as an event egg and you can still receive one from the event.
7. There is no guarantee that you'll receive an egg. There have been about 3k users online daily and there are only 1,750 eggs going out, so that at least gives you a little more than a 50% chance at getting something.
8. Eggs chosen will not be available to pick from again for 3 months. If x egg was in the January egg distribution, then it can not be chosen again until April.
9. The event runs at 4 p.m. server time.

Event dates and what's being handed out

• November 2nd: Deoxys [Attack] - Winner: Asbel Lhant - 350 eggs
• November 3rd: Mew - Winner: Ariento - 350 eggs
• November 4th: Snowman Munchlax - Winner: Leorobin - 350 eggs
• November 5th: Sensing a personality it likes, it will follow that person through their travels in the mountains. ~ Roggenmorpha ~ 350 eggs
• November 6th: This Pokémon lets out a billow of steam to hide in the fog to escape confrontation. ~ Volcanion ~ 350 eggs

I cant wait untill sun and moon! I was so pumped for the fire starter but it looks like im sad again about it. I was hoping the theory of different final evo's was going to be true but, alas it was not. First time in a long time that ill be rolling grass for my starter!

Also, the mystery image in the November Thread are the Gen 7 Starters! So maybe Gen 7 will come a lot faster than gen 6 did

November marks the start of my summer break! This is my last week of classes and assignments, then I'll have exams in a couple of weeks. I only have two and I'm not stressed about them, so I'm considering the end of this week the start of my break :P

Super excited about Sun/Moon coming out, and I'm also planning on going to a midnight screening of Fantastic Beasts when it's released, so I've got some things to look forward to later this month!

Hopefully I actually finish DotW this month (this has been my slowest attempt yet) so I can do some other explorations. Intrigued about the two mystery eggs this month Will probs go for one of them.

I can't believe it's November already. I love fall/winter, but I get all anxious towards the end of the year. This year, it's especially the case due to moving (we're STILL transporting/getting rid of stuff in the old house) and a host of other things that have been going on.

I'm not particularly excited for Sun/Moon, but hey, new Pokémon games are great. I'm just getting Moon since I sort of stopped playing the companion game in each gen, and Rowlet will definitely be my starter. Sooooo not a fan of the other two's final evos.

I think I'll try for the mystery Pokémon to be handed out on the 6th.

Hard to believe that there's just two months left of the year. Time does fly by.

I know which Pokemon I'll be trying for for the giveaway. I just have to remember to keep my party full for the next four or so days. I think I also saw a Mudsdale in that image. I wonder what the one for the 5th is supposed to be.

In other news the wait for Sun and Moon is killing me! I haven't been reading any of the spoilers since all the Pokémon leaked, but after the 18th I'll have to stay off the internet for a week. Oh and did I mention that the games come out just before my study week? Yep, I'm gonna fail my exams XD

Since I'm a fan of Mew, I think I'll be trying for Mew on the 3rd. And if that doesn't work out, then one of the final two because they do sound kind of interesting. Especially the one on the 5th

I will just wait until the sixth to leave in a space, since the last one sounds like a Pokemon I have never gotten before.

I started Mansion of Gods as I do not have any of the Kami trio yet. I think I might be off to a smooth start in this exploration. I plan to do Beneath the Frozen Forest next for Kyurem, though I am not using my Light Stone until I somehow get a Shiny Kyurem or somehow get my hands on another Light Stone.

Man, October sure flew by. Hard to believe it's November already! It's good though, since 2016 has been such a trying year for a lot of people it seems, so hopefully 2017 is better, and we're almost there! Plus, Sun and Moon are less than three weeks away!! I'm super hyped for that.

It's also been about a year since I rejoined the site, and I definitely don't regret it. I've made a lot of progress, and I hope to continue doing so. The last event Pokemon definitely sounds like Volcanion, so I'll definitely aim for him.

I was actually surprised I won the raffle for this month, I barely posted in October. I'm surprised my one measly entry actually got picked. I went with Deoxys this time, I got a bit of inspiration thanks to Destiny Deoxys .

It is scary how fast time is going by, it is November already? This year has positively flew by, soon it'll be Christmas! I wonder what this months shiny hunt is going to be? I'm getting excited that we only have 17 more days and Sun/Moon will be out . I'm still going to go with Litten even though its final evolution is less than desired. I'll just evolve it to its second form and just lob an Everstone at it. I'm more interested in what the Legendary theme is going to be.

Same here, I'm not a fan of any of the final evolutions.
Unless the second form has some interesting moves I'll keep it as Litten I guess. It's too cute xD

For me it's a bit longer till sun/moon due to Europe's late release date.
I hope Litten plushies will show up everywhere like with the former starters
Going to have to keep a close eye on the toy and game stores here.

As for swsh I think Raven's going to pick this month.
So that's going to be pretty interesting.

I am also pretty excited for the launch of Sun and Moon. As I said before, I am definitely going for Moon with the Fire starter. Once the game comes out, I think it will be safe to change my avatar again.

Also, I hate this Chromebook right now. I cannot use the apostrophe because the Chromebook thinks that is the symbol you put over certain letters in some words in the Spanish language. And the worst part is that I do not know how to fix it.

Happy day after Halloween Everybody. Welcome to November.

On the home front news things are definitely improving if not slowly. My hubby is still out of work; we're figuring at least until his appointment tomorrow with our doctor and possibly for the rest of this week. I always knew he needed a vacation - I just wish he had listened to me.

He went outside last night for the first time since coming home on Saturday and I walked him two doors down to our neighbors so he could pop in and say hello and thank you for all that they've helped us through this past week. They've been amazing! I'm sure more people would've come to our aide, but he didn't want anybody to really know. "It's on a need to know basis" he told me. I think he was worried about the wrong people finding out and then he wouldn't be able to do his DPS volunteering (when he's cleared and ready) or maybe get fired from his full time job. He works at an auto body shop where he has to make x amount of $ a month. So being out for this long, I'm sure, has him in worry overdrive. But since they do offer short and long term disability, I'm hoping that he speaks with them about it so a little extra can come in for this week (or two) that he's been out of work.

On happier news... kudos to our November Winners! Love the Pokemon choices! Especially the Winter Snorlax. I'm seriously thinking of keeping my party open on that day, but the two mystery ones are really intriguing to me. Knowing (at least 90% knowing) what that final day release will be definitely has my interest. I'm just worried about everybody blocking their party until then and the odds dropping out of our favor as a result. Doh! Hey. It could happen, right? *eek*

Last night I picked up my eldest's most expensive Christmas gift. I got her the new Skyrim game (xbox one) and some guide book (although GameStop called it a bible, LOL) to go along with it. I just hope she can wait until the holidays for it now.

In other news... lets see... I'm very happy with the Scavenger Hunt because I was able to finish all the tasks this time around. It's been a while since I've done that so I was very pleased with that. I'm "this far" from my 1000 safe prize points again. Yeah. I like to keep a ridiculous amount on hand. I tend to have 15 of every item I can (the ones that don't have the 2 or 3 limit) and keep my prize points around 1,000 and my pass orbs are somewhere around 4 million. *snicker*

As for monthly explores I have to go see what we've got. I haven't been over there yet. I'm also excited because this is the month the Pokemon games come out, right? As it turns out, I also brought the guide book for that game, too. It just gets tiring trying to figure out what I'm supposed to do next in some Pokemon games, especially when I haven't played them in a while and I spend a couple days trying to figure out where I am and what I'm supposed to be doing. LOL

As for the SWSH, definitely looking forward to it. Hopefully I'll have better luck this month than I did last time around. I'll probably save the DotW explore for next month. That whole party lock thing has me shying away from it every time I even think about the explore. Oh. And, seeing as how I just looked at this month's explore, I know the two I'll be hoping to complete. Since I've only done them both three times and the others more, I'll be working on "Guardians" and "Protecting the Fragile". Guess there's no time like the present to get started so.... and awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee go!

Oh. Yuck! Now I see why I've only done "Guardians" 3 times. Those battles. Where the opposing teams swap and trade and you never know who you'll get when. Gah. I think I'll start with "Protecting" and, if I get done early enough, perhaps. Perhaps then I'll go back to the guardians. No promises though. Ugh.

LMAO this is also my birth month. Will be 27 on the 16th. I guess if I'm not too old for Pokemon, I'm not too old for shipping anime characters. As for why everyone is born in November.....February and March are some of the snowiest months in some areas. I'll say no more to adhere to the board rules.



I've already got Roggenmorpha out of the Safari Zone, so I'll pass.



I don't mind the final evolution myself. And I'm also pretty excited for the release-getting both for my birthday, and rolling fire and water like I did in X/Y (Did Grass and Water in ORAS, since I had two Blaziken already from that event). As for your Chromebook, it sounds like the keyboard layout is set to another language.

Changed up my daycare pair *points to siggy* All the eggs look really similar...so I'll probably be hatching this time as opposed to with Florals where I was just donating the egg. Ooh, maybe I should start a hunt! *is thankful that unlike Bidofo there is actual a visible difference*

For explorations I'm doing Kyurem and Keldeo. Still holding out hope for that random shiny, haha! And...I agree that the last one is probably Volcanion. Not sure about the one on the 5th. Saw someone said Roggenmorpha? Hmm. ...That makes sense. I was/had been thinking one of the Lake trio tbh.

Alright, it turns that my keyboard was set to US International, so I changed it and it's back to normal.

@Shadow Fennekin I do like the design of the other final evolutions of the Starter Pokemon, but the Fire-type starter was the one that appealed to me the most. I just think it looks really cool compared to the others.

@Mamanator Glad to see that everything is alright with your husband. I already got the Skyrim remake for free on Steam since I got all the DLC for the original, but the fact that there was a glitch in the beginning that made everyone go faster and therefore hit triggers earlier sort of turned me off. So instead I started a new character on the original Skyrim, which is a female Argonian I aim to be a one-handed light armor melee, with some focus on blocking and blacksmithing.

Oooo! Cool! I kind of like it when my choices are taken care of for me. At least now I get to check earlier to ensure that I have one of each (at the very least). And if not I'll make sure to collect them in time. Here's hoping Burmy is like the flowers. Easy enough to come by, hatch, and encourage to shine. *smirk*

CrazyUmbreonLady, thank you. The Skyrim game is something I have watched the girls play, but I've not bothered with it. I like staying with my Pokemon games (and AC for that matter; just not that in depth) and rarely, if ever, venture beyond those borders. My eldest even texted this morning and was hoping I would rush the package out to her like, yesterday. LOL I was like "but... but... what about your Christmas present?" I think that set her back and she was appalled at the thought. So I'll send it to her now, but she'll be a present (or two) light under the tree this year. *smirk*

Oh my! I don't have any Burmies? Not a one? Sheesh ka bibbles! Good thing I know this far ahead so I can scout out the Lab for my clean ones. I'm going to presume that, if push comes to shove, two different types of Burmy can get together to create off spring to both types?? I would need to get all three of those for a living dex. Luckily for me it didn't take long for me to find female ones the last time I worked on Burmy, so I'm just going to need those three.

As for explorations, I'm doing Mansion of the Gods right now and Protecting The Fragile later because I haven't done either longer than the other two.

Well, that's a pretty awful SWSH selection. There's no real variety, shiny Wormadam looks almost identical to the regular one, and I already have an Insect Plate so I can't even get any shards out of it... I guess I'll just do one hunt to qualify for the prize and hope I get a Mothim instead.

So the SWSH options are already up? Huh, I thought we would vote for the Pokemon like the last two SWSHs, but I guess that means there is an excuse to work on getting the Insect Plate. I just hope I don't have to go through more repeated hunts than necessary, as while I do need a Shiny Mothim I don't want to have five Shiny male Burmy and no female ones. I just need to work on completing my Deino hunt before the SWSH. Meanwhile, I'll get started on working on my December Trinket submissions.

Oh neat! I already have a dex entry for shiny burmy steel (who evolved into a lovely blue mothim) but getting dex entries for the other shiny burmies and also wormadam would be nice! Can't wait till that starts, I signed up early for grass form burmy.

Really excited that Deoxys attack is being given away on the 2nd, definitely leaving space on my team for that.


Definitely a bit disappointed that we couldn't vote for them, but I was in need of insect shards as well anyways! Oh well

Anyways all that aside..... I'm so excited for sun and moon and also excited for GPX to implement gen 7 into the site! I really love popplio's evolution line a bunch, but they're all nice.

The fact that our SWSH options have been chosen for us definitely hints at what the reward will be... though what exactly it is remains a mystery. I'm excited though! I'm doing Mansion of Gods first and then Guardians, since I'm missing Tornadus, Thundurus, and Uxie. I'll probably grab the other kami from a voucher at some point, since I want to complete my Dex here and I'm impatient :p

I also really like the Fire-type starter for Sun and Moon, or the final evolution at least. I was a fan of the Grass-type from the start, and that's definitely still gonna be the one I use in my first run, but I'm definitely picking Fire now for my second playthrough.

You have got to be kidding me about the SWSH. I laughed when I saw the options. I knew as soon as I hatched the last two shiny burmies I needed last month, that it'd be my luck that I'd have to hunt these for the SWSH in the future. Didn't think it'd be this soon!

The two mysterious event giveaways got my attention. If it's true what people are saying about the last one, guess I'll hold out for that one.

NaNoWriMo also started but I'm gonna be sitting it out, I think. I can't seem to stay in a creative mood long enough to even put a story together.

My guess is that perhaps the lack of variety means that the site is heavily hinting an event pokemon based on burmy? Or at least the reward for this shiny hunt may perhaps involve a new, novelty burmy form maybe.

Lol can we have like a basic burmy egg sprite so we have more fiascos like we had with Flabebe? would really make my day lol.

Just purchased the Skyrim Special Edition for my laptop. Laptop actually has higher specs than minimum so we'll see if it plays well. It looks so so pretty, I really can't wait. It's gonna take about 3-6 hours to download though so I might just watch something then let it run overnight and hope it downloads.

Haha I mention the SWSH in my post and then a couple hours later I see that we can already choose what we want to hunt. I decided to go with Burmy Ground for my first shiny hunt. I probably won't get more than 1 SWSH shiny this month, I have a feeling that work will be busy this month.

Well I didn't make cookies the other day but I DID make a butterscotch pudding pie. It is so good, I had to make two pies because I had too much filling left over. I grated up some chocolate to put on top and it was amazing. I'll definitely keep making them, it is a lot easier/cheaper to make than cookies.

I still need all of them for my shiny dex, so I don't mind this at all. (I'm not picky, as long as there's one or two I'm still missing, I'm fine with everything.) Should definitely be easier than the Flabebe hunt.

And I feel like I'm the only one who really doesn't like the fire starter. That might even be one of my least favorite Pokémon in general... Grass and water are both great, so that kind of depends on what else I want in my party. And considering there are two grass types I really like...

I don't mind Litten though it's not a personal favorite, that goes to Popplio for me. I will admit Litten's final evolution, in both movement and pokedex descriptions, has a lot of underlying character to it that isn't expressed well via still imagery of it. So in this case I feel that final Litten is actually better than base Litten itself. But I suppose that's a personal opinion thing, ahaha.

I'm looking forward to some of these egg distributions, I think I'll be leaving a free space in my party the next couple days, being happy with whatever I get! <3

Can't say I'll be partaking in this shiny hunt, none of the burmy line really speak to me! I'd maybe risk it for a shiny mothim, but I'm not feeling that adventurous. I think I'll use November to try to finish my Drifloon hunt or get another flabele out of the way! I only need yellow and red now.

So the SWSH. Trash, Trash and Literally Trash. Those Shinies barely have any changes. At least there's aDrive Mothim, who's Shiny is decent but...there's a 50/50 chance of getting that.

Well I got my Pokemon for the Poke Hunt this week. I lucked out and got a 137IV Eevee from the second egg I grabbed. I evolved it right away and used that for my entry. Now I don't need to spend half of this week looking for good Eevee eggs.

Currently playing a bit of Undertale Genocide run right now, trying to fight Sans at the moment. I am extremely late to the train for Undertale runs but I bought it last year. I never really played it much, I quit after Papyrus in the Neutral run. It isn't as hard as I thought it would be to be honest, I only make mistakes like forgetting to heal.

I have to go to the hospital tomorrow morning to see my family doctor. I've been having acid reflux since sometime in March and none of the medications he prescribed work. Even the one that is supposed to be the 'best' on the market stopped working after a month. I'm hoping to find out what other options I can take to relieve this. It's annoying not wanting to eat anything because acid reflux decides it doesn't like the food I'm eating. Lets just hope that I don't have to get bloodwork or anything done because I can't handle needles XD.

Back from a Quiz Bowl match at an away game. The junior varsity of our team lost by ten points, but the varsity of the same team won by 120 points.

@x Sam Don't worry, I doubt I'll ever get a Shiny Kyurem, hence why I said I'll get a White Kyurem if I get two Light Stones. Still, you're pretty determined if you keep a Legendary hunt for this long. I personally don't think I can do it. Hope you get your hard-earned Shiny Kyurem someday.

I'm really excited for this month! I'm going to be 16 in 16 days c: I'm probably going to get Pokemon Moon from my dad. From everyone else, though, I asked for a glockenspiel. We looked at one today at a place in town and it wasn't too expensive. I'm probably going to sell one of my old guitars to help pay for it since guitar was never really my thing. I really love the glockenspiel, though!

I also did a gift exchange with a Disney theme and I got my gift yesterday. I got a decent-sized Stitch plush and some other cool stuff from Disney World! It came with a bunch of photo stickers of Stitch's adventures around Disney World, too

It's because at the time the shelter didn't tell you what colours the Flabebe eggs were. So since the egg sprite is the same for all of them, then you didn't really know which colour of Flabebe you were picking up. All the while you could only hunt one colour at a time, as your SWSH anyway. Since then the shelter has been changed so that the name of the eggs you pick up will also tell you what form it is.

I for one think that the Burmy choice is brilliant. Not only are there few breeders for Burmy, which means that we are giving people a shot at hunting for rarer eggs. On top of that, if you want a full shiny dex, then you need to hunt for each form of Burmy up to multiple times.

Good grief, the fiasco with the Flabebe was that bad? I'm glad that we know which Pokemon Egg is which by the name now. I'm also wiling to guess that the Novelty coming out of this hunt will be a Burmy. Maybe there will be a new item that changes the form or corrupts an egg into that form?

And oh boy, that Flabebe hunt, especially when you were working on hatching 15 of the color you want for the Honey to work and it would basically be a 20 percent chance of getting the one you need. I was able to get most of the ones I needed despite that. I think I might have gotten one I wasn't hunting yet during that time.

Naked burmy would look amusing on the pokedex XD It might come from many possibilities, so I'll wait until we get more information about the hunt's choice. Maybe there aren't enough shiny burmys in the world? I'm really glad I got the raffle, have been searching the shelter for that munchlax and have had no luck. As every 31st of October, I get dressed and stay in front of my door to give candies to the toddlers of the neighborhood. They are usually affraid because I only move when I hear people coming xD They are happy to be a bit affraid. Parents are happy about this, so I'm happy too. This year I was a kinda sort of Joker, with a long black wig, nobody recognize me, because I usually have red and short hairs.

21 days until Sun and Moon! Can't wait! <3 yeah In Europe it's on the 23rd =(

Now that I see the naked Burmy, it's a possibility. Though that's sort of boring in my opinion. Why not make a new Cloak form instead? I love seeing what kind of stuff GPXPlus comes up with and anime-inspired Novelties can get a tad bit boring if its not that big of a difference from the original Pokemon.

Also, I really hate looking for Pokemon from the Safari Zone for tasks and not just hatch them, but I will not give up!

Just got myself a Carbink [Merrick] from the Safari Zone which was a nice surprise. All I need is Carbink [Bort] and then I can finally mega evolve my Diancie, leaving me with just the rest of the plate Arceus to get.

Still got a few plates to go through so I might actually start playing properly again. Any shiny my way would be nice, though. It's been a while since I hatched one let alone one of my own shiny hunts..

Yeah I forgot all about the 4 hour difference now until Sunday! Thankfully my party was full, still aiming for the November 6th egg though Hopefully I'll get it, would be nice!

e: How was everyone's Halloween? I was ill on Monday (still am) so I just spent it watching films in bed feeling sorry for myself.

Been looking into getting a tattoo as-well.. Bristol is a really arty place so those too many to choose from, I've decided what I want (eventually want a sleeve, given time and money). I'm really liking the idea of getting a watercolour looking tattoo of paper cranes or a hummingbird on my forearm. Thinking more the paper cranes for now.. looking at getting 2 or 3, possibly. Aaah so excited!

edit2: Looking at the entire thing to be based on nature with an obvious watercolour based style.. I think I've found someone around here who actually does that sort of stuff too!

So the Animal Crossing update came out today, and now I can't trade between my two towns anymore because my old 3DS doesn't have the update. And it doesn't work with my normal router so I have to hunt down the half broken one that's hiding somewhere in the basement.

Cubs win the World Series, their first in 108 years . I stayed awake until 2 am watching this game and I'm so happy they won. I'm not a HUGE fan of baseball but I've been routing for them the whole series(after Toronto got knocked out at least).

My raffle winner Deoxys egg did not hatch shiny, oh well. I'm going to wait until November 6th(like a lot of people I noticed) before I empty my party. I'm interested in seeing what the final one will be, so I'm saving it for last. I already got my raffle egg so I won't care if I don't get one.

Not particularly excited by the choice of SWSH Pokémon this month, but more Insect Shards would be nice.

I love all three of the final starter forms, but Primarina is just so beautiful. *sigh*

Other than that, I'm actually kinda bored. Shiny hunting is getting repetitive for me, I already finished DotW twice, and I can't get more Mega Stones except by waiting for a Plus day. Release+ is filling up, so there's that.

On another note, I rediscovered Neopets, which I used to play all the time when I was little. Miraculously, they haven't wiped or frozen my account even though I haven't used it for years. Seeing all the old games still there, feeding my dying pets...the nostalgia is strong with this one.

Managed to get a mew egg and find a winter vulpix in the shelter right after finding out! Still failing at shiny eevee after 100 eggs but my sister (who I am in the shiny race with) has given up so at least I'll probably win! Also rather happy about the SWSH as I don't have any shiny burmys... Going for ground and may go for others after IF I manage to complete it...

TGIF Everyone!

My husband's doctor appointment went well and he is released to return to work, drive, and climb stairs again. Guess I'll have to learn how to sleep with someone lying next to me again. LOL But seriously, that was great news (expected, but still a relief to hear) and I'm so happy that he can get back to a daily, normal routine. I'm sure he'll be all types of happy to feel useful again as well.

I've got some work things keeping me busy throughout the day but I plan to spend a lot of time clicking over here as well. Speaking of clicking, my wild Suicune is starting to feel better, but we're still stuck while it's down for the poisoned count. At least your berries are improving its disposition. It is nearly dripping with sweetness from all those wonderfully sweet berries you've all been feeding him. So if you'd like to throw some more at him today, I just know he'll be up and about and we'll resume our exploration again before the sun gets too high.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure you all know this already (because you're all more on top of the Pokemon scene then I am), but it looks like Game Stop has more code cards. This time for Genesect. Hopefully I can get mine. I know that some of my games have Genesect, but hopefully that won't matter. I don't know; since it wouldn't let me use more than one code for any one game I suppose I can only hope that I can still collect on Genesect this month. Here's hoping!

As for Sun & Moon teams, I haven't even thought about that. I've been out of the loop on the what's what and just saw this morning that we get to transfer the Ash Greninja (spelling) from the demo to the game. Sweetness! I got to make sure my eldest knows that, too. It was a real short demo and I was going to play it again to try out that new move for, what was it, Pikachu?, but it seemed that the opposing Pokemon went down way too easily with basic moves, so I never got the chance to try it out. LOL

Spent the evening with my siblings and dad, and I actually found a 20th anniversary Arceus plushie! I didn't think I'd be able to get one since I couldn't find one in August, but the local Gamestop actually had one!

I finally hatched a shiny Ralts... and it's male. I don't particularly mind male Gardevoir, but if I evolve this one into a Gardevoir like I wanted to and then have trouble finding another male later I'm gonna be kicking myself. So I start the hunt anew!

I'm mapping out a concept for an artsy project... making a region based around lands being on or under water with pokemon exclusive to the region! (Yes, it sounds like Sun/Moon, but I came up with the original idea years ago off my faaaaavorite water type, Corsola!)

Lol. I was storing up on Burmies for breeding, because I only had a single Mothim, and I needed a Brave pokémon for my exploration. I had two Burmy eggs to hatch, so I decided to hatch one of them, and if it's the wrong nature, I will spend some Pass Orbs to make sure the other one will be Brave.
It hatched into a Shiny Burmy with Brave nature...

Someone sold a bunch of type gems to the shop. Got them from the backroom. Dragon, poison, ice and dark if I recall correctly. As a matter of fact I started buying before checking which they were XD

Blargh, I hate it when I get a task to feed a Pokemon a specific Berry in the middle of Fog.

I haven't hatched any Burmy yet, and I actually didn't need to since I got an entire collection of Pokemon ready to be bred for a Shiny Hunt. So my Wormadam are sitting in my box to be brought out on the 13th of this month. In the meantime, I really hope I can hatch a Shiny Deino before the SWSH begins. If not, I'll have to put the Deino hatching completely on hold for the SWSH except on multiplier days so I can hatch them faster, since I don't think it will be productive to have eggs that take a long time to hatch taking up the space for a potential SWSH egg.

So I went to the store yesterday and picked up some Evolutions cards! They are so cool. I actually have most of the original cards, so it's neat to see reprints of them. I also got a Mega Slowbro EX, a promo Black Kyurem, and a cool purple Genesect coin to add to my collection. I also woke up to a Shiny Inkay this morning, so that was a pleasant surprise.

Does anyone need Volcanion still? I've been giving them out and have a bunch of leftovers... But please, if you already got a Volcanion in XYORAS, don't take one. I'm relying on trust here, since I want to give them to people who don't have one yet. They are US codes, so sorry if you live somewhere else :/

Went to the movies and saw Dr Strange the other night. It was really good! Would recommend. I really need to watch more Marvel movies...the few I've seen I've really enjoyed ^^ Also bought tickets to a midnight screening of Fantastic Beasts, which comes out on 17th. Super excited! Hmmm depends on the store really.
If it's a popular kind of "elitist" store, they tend to have limited numbers of games to give people something to brag about.
But if you go when everyone is still at school and just go to a store which doesn't have this elite thing going on with a huge assortment of stuff... then you can get lucky, still.

Although I guess you're best off ordering from a webshop. Webshops tend to update with whether they're sold out or still have some copies around.

Honestly if you didn't preorder at Gamestop, don't bother going there to get your game. They don't order extras, they only order the amount of preorders. Places like Best Buy and Target should be fine if you go get them the day after release, I've never seen a best buy sell out of games within the first week of release.

Today's clicks have also helped me get two of the three Pokemon levels I need so I'm well on my way to finishing this current task at least.

Oh hey, I forgot this was a thing.

I get my car back from the shop Monday. Thanks to some shoddy windshield work from the glass guys, my car ended up leaking and flooding from the inside out a couple weeks ago, and it shorted out the electrical systems. So I've been stuck like this, with a goddang Hyundai Elantra for ages. I hate the car but it goes away tomorrow

What a nice surprise! I got my Volcanion as well, feeling lucky to be one out of those 350 people who have that pleasure to have one! It's big surprise cause I'm not that active right now, I'm having no time to click due to my university duties.
Egg sprite seems broken to me as well.

And, talking about SWSH this month is not really fantastic for me. I don't like subtle shinies and Burmy is one of them, meh. But I like shiny Mothim so I hope to be lucky and get male one, wanted to hunt for that! But on the other side, it's nice way to complete Insect Shard.

I got Volcanion so aaahhh. My store is also selling three pack Pokemon cards for a buck now (Steam Siege) so that's wonderful.

I've been having some more bad family issues crop up over the last few day sadly. I'm doing better as of today. I had texted my former Assistant Manager about it and she came by today for lunch so we could talk a bit about it.

We went to a chinese place in town and we ended up getting fortune cookies and hers said "A meeting with an old friend will bring new adventures".

Congrats to everyone who got the steam legendary from the event! also, On one of the last tasks for the Triforce legendaries now, and really excited - but no matter what I do, the main bad guy behind this explorationis proving a hard opponent to beat with my Pokemon, sigh. if anyone has any tips i would really like them! (though my ancient jigglypuff seems to do fairly well most rematches with him and i'm proud for that)

Oh my god, my Deoxys [Attack] just hatched with 46 IVs. It got 0 in HP and Defense, but at least it got 8 in Attack. :'D

And I'm sure I'm basically reiterating everyone else's thoughts but I am too excited for Sun and Moon. I haven't been this hyped for a Pokemon game since Black and White, when I was 9 lol. (+ two of my favourite artists are releasing albums on that day so I'm probably going to have a mental breakdown aha)

When you go into a store, let's say GameStop, they usually have preorder cards. You just bring it to the cash and they'll charge you the 5 dollars for a preorder. You can pay it all off if you wish or you can pay for it when you pick up the game. I know that I did this when Black2/White2 came out so no idea if they changed that.

I preordered mine online from Best Buy/Amazon. Best Buy will charge me when they ship the game to me, Amazon I had to pay for outright. This way I'm guaranteed to get a copy of the game, if I were to wait until release I probably wouldn't get one online.

I could have lined up on release day at my local Walmart but I didn't want to have to wake up at 7. My Walmart will probably run out of copies before lunchtime because they only get so many copies. I learned from a few games I wanted to get, like Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and the PS4 release here xD.

Online preorder (gets shipped to the store or your house, or local postage office, your choice), or in store. EBGames allows you to put a $5 deposit on the game and then you can in full at the release, or you can pay full if you want.

Preordering just guarantees you a copy, and might save you the hassle of going and getting the game .

I did my pre-order from GameStop. That way, whenever a new 20th Anniversary pokemon card came out, I could go to the store, get my card, and then pay more towards my games/strategy guide. I think I've currently paid $35 on all three, leaving me with about $14.97 before tax left.

And to pre-order at GameStop, I just went to the register and told the cashier how much I wanted to put down on the game: $10, to start with.

I'm back from another Quiz Bowl game. Varsity won (can't say the same for JV). I only got to answer one question, which was one I knew thanks to the fact I'm taking Chemistry this year. It was a question about an element that had a single electron orbit a lone proton, the answer it to it being hydrogen.

I signed up on Wattpad to write stuff. I'm editing my profile before I start my first fanfiction though. I want to have the Surprised Patrick meme as my avatar but it refuses to save it as my avatar and I'm cropping out as much of the image as I can.

I was actually keeping a slot closed and waiting for Volcanion, but... On the day Roggenmorphas were given out, one of my eggs cracked literally at the giveaway time, and since we set the clocks an hour back a week prior, I didn't realise it was time... So I got caught with a spot open and thus with a Roggenmorpha. Oh well, just like Alicat I guess I'll just hope there's an exploration in the future, or maybe it is added to the voucher until I save up points for it.
And Shady Salesman visits me every day. @_@ He wants my points badly, but I already have 5 tails and the achievement, he won't get any more.

Meanwhile November is turning out to be the busiest month of the year, good thing hatching some eggs always relaxes me.

Almost finished with the Kyurem exploration, which I'm pretty happy that I'll get to complete at least one special exploration this month, as I had to bail out of Mansion of Gods due to a noticeable lack of Patrat.

I also finally finished up editing my Wattpad profile, including getting to have Surprised Patrick as my profile picture. I'm gonna begin writing my first fanfiction tomorrow. I wish that I'll get my drawing tablet soon to make covers, but I have to wait until Christmas. Well, time to make a cruddy message stating that it's a stand-in cover as my cover for my upcoming fanfic.

I voted last week, which was great since there were no lines or anything. I feel sort of bad for places that don't have early voting (which isn't that many?) and that have to deal with long lines on election day.

I'm aware of a lot of the spoilers for Sun/Moon, but I'll just ignore them for now. Game's coming out soon anyway, so I can just wait and at least learn the story for myself.

I've been reading a lot of Harry Potter fanfiction lately. And I thought up a title and plot line for one that MIGHT be interesting. But while I think I can write, fanfiction is NOT my thing. I just write normal, for me anyway, stories.

75 IV get you nowhere, not even on a shiny. So unless you need the achievement, the 142 IV one is the better choice.

Sorry about me talking about politics, I'm just a bit miffed that we got what we got.

Really happy about this Honey+. I can actually hatch Deino eggs faster and get some more faster, though it wasn't that hard to find a Deino egg in the first place.

We took ASVAB, which is some kind of written test determining where you would be most useful in the building and what kind of ACT score you would make. They also said that they'll compare your score to all the other juniors and seniors across the country. Whatever my score is, I don't really want to go to the military, and I do have an excuse of not going in the case of I'm drafted, which is that my strabismus makes me super near-sighted in one eye and my brain doesn't use the other one at all.

Hello random shiny Eevee I got while looking for a good one for the Poke Hunt. That makes it my third shiny I've gotten during a Poke Hunt while searching for good IVs(I think it was all Eevee too, lmao). I just wish it would give me shinies I need, like shiny Zergoose .

All the nonsense with my personal life is really letting me delay my reaction to the election stuff honestly. I don't want to sound apathic to it (I'm so not okay with it) but I figure I should have only one crisis at a time and the guy isn't techincally in charge until January so I'm scheduling a day for that in advance.

My last Shiny was on October 30th, right before Halloween. I used to think my Shiny luck was bad, but it seems to be about average. I'm just hoping the Deino hunt doesn't drag me down on top of the high maturity requirement.

I have no school tomorrow, which means it will be a three-day weekend. And even better, the week after next week will be Thanksgiving Break! I'm gonna game a lot this month and the next.

In worldly news... my streak for my choice for President continues to hold. Of course, I kind of did set myself up to continue my untarnished record by voting third party. *whistles innocently*

In relation to Pokemon news... I managed to get 4 code cards from the Game Stop at the mall last night. I haven't turned them in [yet], but at least my trip to the mall wasn't a total loss last night. My unsmart phone decided to not want to charge at all. Seems I might've broken a couple prongs inside the charging unit because the charge cords are so blanking difficult to insert properly. *shifty eyes* So now my husband is assisting nightly by charging his phone and, come morning, we're battery swapping. We're only having to do this until the insurance delivers the new phone which, so they said last night, should ship within 1 to 2 days. So I might have my new phone by Monday (or Tuesday, depending on if they count tomorrow as a holiday).

In relation to GPX... I finished the explore (YAY!!) and turned in an impressive Togekiss IV 155 for the hunt. I was all set to run with the 142 when I hatched the entry yesterday morning. At least I was able to finish it in a timely manner. *phew*! So I'll be trying to decide which special exploration to start next. I think I know which one I've "got" to do. I dread it.. but who knows? Maybe it'll be fun?? *grumbles incoherently about battles and swapping Pokemon*

Today is my Friday (YAY!!) so here is to a sweet weekend. I'll be looking forward to watching many episodes of Reign on Netflix. I really, really, really that show! And the music! I have to see if there is a Reign soundtrack. How I hope there is!!

Nice job on the Eevee, RicFule! My only problem with vying with her for the Fairy hunts is not knowing if I have enough fairies for my party to evolve her properly. That's why I went with Togekiss. Either way, we should both be set for this week's hunt, eh?

I'm probably going to pick up some more cards from Game Stop where I have my games on pre order, too. What I can do then is, hopefully, share them. I'm not thoroughly convinced I can use these cards since I know I have a Genesect (or two) "somewhere" (in one of my games) So if it turns out to be like the Volcanion codes, if they're already in your game, you can scratch all you want. It won't work. I just wonder... would that then invalidate the code for someone else or another game if that does happen? *scratches head thoughtfully*

As for shard hunting, yeah no. I'm not so much doing that either. Granted, I might've begun my Murkrow hunts for the shard, but most of my hunts are because I just want that Pokemon and the shards? A nice cherry on top. *smirk*

I do actively start hunts based on Shards, like right now I'm doing hunts for the Dread Plate. I do start for fun hunts though, as well as SWSH hunts. I'm not gonna complete DotW yet, not until I get all Legendaries so I won't have to worry about missing out on an exploration for a Legendary I don't have yet.

I actually tried to write a Sailor Moon fanfiction years ago now that was based upon ANOTHER fanfiction, but never actually finished it. But I did like my original character, Amethite. And the fact that the Asteroid Belt was originally a planet named Asteroidia that he destroyed at the end of the Silver Millennium in a battle between the Outer Senshi and their older brothers who had been brainwashed into being evil. The battle was to keep the Outer Senshi away from the Moon Kingdom.

I picked up a Carbink Bort from the shelter, thanks x Sam. 1 down, 3 to go. I also dropped 24 Floral Togepis today and it shows only 3 have been picked up so far so if anyone's been searching, there's apparently still a whole plethora bouncing around in there.

To avoid the election mess, I've pretty much been sinking most of my time into The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection, mostly in Strangetown lately. Definitely brings back a lot of memories, Strangetown was my place to go when I first got Sims 2. The whole Bella Goth mystery was pretty awesome.

Home from work, ordered wine, and now to sit and relax for a bit!

I came home to see that my brother's babysitter had baked my favorite cake for no reason other than she wanted to, so that was a wonderful surprise! I'll be digging into it soon enough. I'm in the process of trying to get one of my friends a job with my mom. My boyfriend is student teaching at a school that is basically having race riots because of the election. Buuuuut

A 12 hour drive where I don't have to be the one driving means that I will be getting very far in the new Pokemon game, very quickly. Also sort of super nervous to be going that far away from home, but it's going to be an experience. Hopefully a good one, seeing as its a chance for me to connect with possible future employers.

Today was a rather nice little outing with friends. We went to the local market and looked around, seeing what all this city we lived in had to offer on the small sale. Craft soda and local wine were some of my purchases, along with locally made beef jerky, a candle that smelled like firewood, and a small cow figurine for my boyfriend. All in all, not a bad way to spend money.

Coming home and seeing that my stepdad had demolished the kitchen and was starting to rebuild it was a surprise, though.

Also, I saw an Alolan Vulpix plushie that is going to the pokemon center stores, and oh my goodness i need at least ten of them. SOooooooo cute.

I'm getting excited for the SWSH this month, I'm really hoping it'll be a nice and easy hunt(though I doubt it). I'm probably only going after one of them this time, work has gotten hectic. I'm back to working at least 40 hours a week, which means I won't get much time to participate. I just gotta hope for that quick shiny.

I spent half of my day playing Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess on the Gamecube. I decided to try and get the Early Master Sword glitch done so I could play the game a different way. It took me over 40 tries to get it the first time, but I messed it up by going the wrong way XD. Third time was the charm, I lucked out and hit the area I needed to go. Gotta love sequence breaking the game .

I joined this swsh to support my affinity, not because I like the Pokémon :P
But hey it might help me finish my dex who knows. I'm still missing a handful of entries.

The more I hear about them, the more excited I get!

I went out today to spin the daily Pokéstop to get my streak to continue and I caught a handful of things in the nearby park.

I only compete in the SWSH hunts for the prize. Given shinies for certain Pokemon are ugly and/or don't look good at all compared to the original, or just don't have any difference to the original(Shiny Mega Gengar fixed that for Gengar, but still why even bother changing the color ever so slightly? Gible was the first shiny I ever caught in the games aside from Gyarados and I was so disappointed after evolving he barely looks different)

I'm rather excited for thw SWSH! Not that I really care for shiny burmy, but there is a chance for Mothim, which would be pretty neat. And I'm always game for a new novelty! Or something pretty neat.

I'm not sure I will be able to actually finish the hunt, though, because I will be very busy from 11/19-11/24, and that is a rather big chunk of the hunt.

I had to keep reminding myself that it started today, but I was able to get on it pretty quickly. I'm hunting the Grass one first, and the other two will obviously come soon after.

Now I have to find a way to charge my 3DS after the adapter broke and my sister's being fickle with hers, especially with SM coming out this week (!!!). May have to order a new one.

Wonder when Volcanion will be added to the LVP.

I had to look up which Burmy I'm hunting since I just picked a random one. xD So, Ground Burmy for me, apparently.

Now I need to look up the Sun/Moon hairstyles since I don't think you can change your skin color later, and I need to know if girls have one particular style before I pick the skin. Hate it when I can't try out all the options before I pick something unchangeable.

I had my mom preorder Moon for me from Amazon. Hopefully they don't take too long with shipping it to our home when the game comes out.

I went for Grass Burmy, since that's the first of the trio. Just gonna hope that I only hatch one male, but Burmy have a 50/50 gender ratio, so I'll have to get lucky that it hits that one 50% only once.

Is that the one that plugs into the wall? Or the base that the DS sits in? Because if it's the actual plug, you might be able to get one at a store. I believe my local Walmart sells them for something around $10? Don't think I've seen a base there, so if you need that instead, you might need to order one.

Well. THAT was easy. Hatched my shiny in 12 eggs. And I was the 12th fastest to do it too.

Damn. It seems like breeding a Burmy with a Mothim poduces eggs only of the Burmy's type. I thought that the Mothim should breed all three types, so I would have a few eggs of the other two types too.

I noticed that Mothim seems to only breed grass Burmy regardless of what kind of Burmy it evolved from. So if you had bred Mothim with a different form of Burmy, then at least you would be breeding two forms.

I accidently got a Mew instead of Volcanion. And I knew it was going to be him too. T_T Oh well. I'll wait for a release.

I pre-ordered both Sun and Moon at GameStop. My bf's birthday is on Wednesday, so I told him I'll buy him the game. We're just still debating who gets which game. xD I have a preference towards Sun, but it's his birthday so I want him to choose. Problem is he wants me to get the one I want too so he keeps saying "I don't care." Grr.

I was hoping there was gonna be a really, really good sale on the 2DS for Black Friday but I haven't seen any leaks about it. I figure with the Switch coming, that something like a 2DS would be priced to move at the last minute, or for the holidays at least.

My deadline priorities changed and I'm not happy. I focused so much on one essay for tomorrow instead of my lab report for friday, now my tutor is all "oh let's just do plans for tomorrow instead of the actual essay as it's in for week 10"

I've been pretty busy as of late, so I haven't had a chance to visit here much " Though this time next week all my exams will be done, and summer break officially starts! I'm really looking forward to it...so need a break. My classes this semester were more difficult than I expected, so I feel pretty drained.

I haven't done that well in the last couple of SWSHs, so I'm determined to actually hatch at least a shiny or two this time :P Also super happy that I managed to get a Volcanion from the giveaway ^^

I've been a bit out of touch with the latest Sun/Moon spoilers the last couple of weeks...I was previously looking at them all. I'm just going to wait until Friday now to get the game, rather than catch up on spoilers :P Though I did see one thing about the version exclusive Pokemon, and I prefer almost all of the ones in Sun than in Moon...and I'm getting Moon ^^" Looks like I'm going to have to do a lot of trading with my sister and boyfriend haha.

I also discovered the other day that there is now an official Yugioh app to play the card game! This makes me really happy Most of my free time is being taken up by that at the moment haha.

As of a minute or so ago, I have 4 Icicle Shards. Unfortunately, my Smoochum only has 118 IVs, so it won't let me finish my Plate. But there's still plenty of time. And since I already got my SWSH completed on day one, I can work on finding a decent IVed Ice type.

I'm actually switching between either Lapras or Eevee, depending upon which one I find in the Shelter. Lapras might only be a secondary Ice type, but it has JUST a few more egg steps to hatch. But Eevee appears to be easier to find for the most part.

I've actually gotten at least 2 Shards from all the Plates now. With the Sky Plate being the one that only has 2 Shards.

Well, I hatched a Shiny Burmy relatively quickly. Pretty happy about that, since I got my needed male. Now to hope the rest will be all female.

In Music Technology, we started working with sound effects. Which got me confused, since I didn't think we would be working with sound design at all. I'm also a lot more self-conscious about using sound-effects than using virtual instruments, and I really don't know why. Also, we have a computer program to make music, except it costs like $200 USD. Since I'm interested in using soundfonts, is there cheaper music programs that also lets you use downloaded soundfonts?

I just got the grade from my Film midterm, and I'm honestly disappointed. 79% is lower than I thought it would be, but I'm able to bring it up if I decide to do extra essays. Ugh.

In GPX, the first eevee I hatched was a 132IV male. Not bad, so that's sitting as my entry so far.

I only got 64% on my summary, but it's the first one we've ever done and we all got a similar mark so I guess it's better than nothing. That particular thing is only 10% of this unit and this unit is worth 30%.

Lab report for friday is 50%, essay is 30% (next tuesday) and the presentation and summary are 10% each.

I'm not sure why, but it's a lot harder to find Ground Burmy than it was to find Grass Burmy. I'm gonna need some Honey when hopefully the next Prize Shop rotation has 'em.

Two more days until Sun and Moon! I've seen the base stats of some Pokemon that have a lot of potential from some people datamining.

Oh yeah, that also means Thanksgiving Break is almost here for my school. That means I'm going to game a lot.
