Off the top of my head probably 'Leon' would be my favorite film - Gotta' love big scary itallian assassins.
And as for my least, it would have to be "The fifth element"... That movie made me want to punch people. ]: -------------------- I like random PM's - not random PMS. |

Had some mates round at the weekend and we watchedCloverfield. Bit of a weak plot, with loads of gaps, (how the hell did the monster get there in the first place was probably the biggest), but it was still very enjoyable. Really clever how they did the whole thing through the video camera. When first heard about it I thought it would be insainly annoying, but it was really well done and added to the whole tension and that kinda stuff. I think one to add to my faves list

Here's yet another revision of my favorite movies. The first two are my absolute favorites, the rest are other favorites in no particular order.
Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007) Edward Scissorhands Tim Burton's Corpse Bride Big Fish Charlie and the Chocolate Factory James and the Giant Peach Pirates of the Carribean series Hairspray (2007) Yes, I do like Tim Burton. Yes, I mean the new Chocolate Factory movie. If I meant the older one, I would've typed "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory." No, Tim Burton did not ruin it. His film should not even be compared the older movie. And yes, I will probably revise this list for a third time. Reason for edit: I misspelled "Tim." >_> This post has been edited by Pumpkin King: Jan 13 2009, 04:08 PM -------------------- |

here's an (incomplete) list of my favorite movies, hosted by the wonderful website listal. to put a few here, my top favorites are: the ladykillers (1955), brazil, being there, the lavender hill mob, night and the city (1950), kind hearts and coronets, blade runner and the original pink panther movies. my least favorite films are remakes, particularly of "classics". ugh nononono. I'm not gonna explain why I like my favorite movies, because there are so many it would take me ages.
Favorites: Brokeback Mountain, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Boondock Saints, Go, Fight Club, The Blues Brothers, From Dusk Till Dawn, Reservoir Dogs, Shoot 'Em Up, Sleuth, Four Rooms, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, The Road to El Dorado, Cursed, Deep Blue Sea, Dead Silence, The Blair Witch Project, Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon, Moulin Rouge!, Amélie, Army of Darkness, Small Town Folk, The Mummy, Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, Hellbent, Rest Stop, The Breakfast Club, Doom, Die Hard, Stranger Than Fiction, Rain Man, Grimm Love, Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead, The Brothers Grimm. I could add even more to the list. Least favorites: The Exorcist. I don't like it, because I've heard so many people say it's the scariest movie they've ever seen, and I just can't see anything scary about it. The Crash. I don't really hate this movie, but it's one of my [few] least favorite movies because it won the Oscar for the best picture over my number one favorite movie, Brokeback Mountain, so when I was going to see it for the first time I was really exited 'cause I expected something super amazing. So watching this movie was really disappointing. I found it way too predictable, and there were too many characters so I didn't feel like I knew them, and therefore I couldn't relate to them. -------------------- |

Off hand, my favourite movies are...
~Iron Man (Stark is so damn hawt. ) ~Transformers 1 & 2 (Featuring transforming robots that smash things, it's just bound to be epic.) ~Ghost Rider (Lulz, Grim Reaper Caijin style.) ~Snakes On A Plane (I loved it whenever the coloured cop dude got pissed off) ~Dodge Ball (So bloody funny, full to the brim with good jokes & gags) And ones that I would absolutely hate would be: ~War Of The Worlds (Newest version. I hated when that young girl kept fucking screaming EVERY FIVE FRIGGIN' MINUTES!) ~The Day The Earth Stood Still (Your typical Adam & Eve story with over-the-top special effects thrown into the mix.) ~Cloverfield (No. Just no. An epic fail of a Sci-Fi horror. Let's just leave it at that.) -------------------- Software engineer by day. Hermit writer by night. nothing is impossible chasing a super hero on the run |

I watch a lot of movies, but it's hard for me to sort which are my favorite from the movies I just like right now.
Movies I hate The Dark Night: Batman Begins was much better. The only performances I really liked in the movie were Ledgers and Eckharts(IMHO he was underrated). Watchmen: I had high expectations for this movie; the graphic novel is probably the best I've read. The movie(theatrical release at least, not sure about the directors cut) was a bastardization of the GN. It should have been made into at least two separate films. Probably would have been 10Xs better. Juno: Simply didn't find it funny. Cloverfield: Bored me to death X-Men Origins: Wolverine: Bored for a good portion of the movie, and whatever they turned Wade Wilson into made me wanna cry. Most Pixar movies(Love Toy Story 1&2, Monsters Inc, and The Incredibles): Different reasons for each, I prefer not writing them all down. Most kids and horror movies: Read Pixar Most musicals or dance movies: I hate the singing and dancing. Don't feel like writing anything else down. Mind you, the classic Disneys are much better, but Pixar brought a new wave of movies to Disney. Pixar didn't kill Disney considering that it's still running very strong and it's still at the top. Disney Channel killed Disney. -------------------- [align=center]I am the earth-mother, and you are all flops.
