That is too overpowered.

Maybe if it was physical, had a Charge Beam-esque base power, and only had a 70% chance to raise attack.

Posted by: Pyramid Aug 8 2007, 01:58 PM

This is probably why we haven't brought the non-canon moves submission ideas from PaNG. Everyone made moves that were overpowered, and too many things could get them. Not to mention a lot of them were just stupid.

lol, it was meant to be kind of overpowerred. perhaps even a lower chance to raise attack?

Awesomest move ever...
It's Probably the cheesiest move ever, but i think it's awesome....

Ultimate Grass Move!!!

Move:
Name: Nature Blast (again, I'm bad at naming thigs)
Type: Special
Power: 95
Accuracy: 70
PP: 1
Effect(s): Enemy pokemon falls asleep for three turns. When it wakes up it is burned, poisoned, confused, paralyzed, frozen, or infatuated depending on the enemy pokemon's type. And the sun starts to shine brightly.
Usable by: Bulbasaur, Venesaur, Chikorita, Meganium, Treeko, Sceptile, Turtwig, Torterra
TM: No
Level Up Move: Yes (Bulbasaur/Chikorita/Treeko/Turtwig level 50)

Other facts:
1. If it is a successful hit, It will fire a beam towards the enemy. After it hits and the pokemon is asleep, leaves scatter arond the pokemon and cause 15 damage for the three turns it is asleep.
2. When the pokemon wakes it will be inflicted with any of these statuses:
Fire - Burned
Ice/Water - Frozen
Grass/Poison - Poisoned
Psychic/Dark/Ghost - Confused
Electric - Paralyzed
Normal - Infatuated (only opposite gender, no gay pokemon)
3. Sunny Day is in effect after the move is used
4. After Nature Blast is used, the user has to rest for 4 turns
5. This move can only be learned ONLY by a Level 50 starter grass pokemon (Bulbasaur, Chikorita, etc). Upon learning this move, it will automatically evolve to it's final evolution (Vensaur, Meganium, etc). That's why Iysaur, Baleef, Grovyle, or the other one can't learn it.

Clean Slate
Type: Normal
PP: 1
Type: Status
Accuracy: N/A
All Status Ailments, Stat Changes, and Field Effects are removed for both sides.
Perish Song, Substitute, Transform, and Multitype are not affected.
Pokemon holding a status inflicting item will be inflicted with status the following turn. Pokemon not in play are also affected, for both sides. Skill Swapped Pokemon are returned to normal. Stealth Rock, Spikes, and Toxic Spikes are removed for both sides. Trick Room and Gravity are cleared, as are all weather effects. Pokemon wearing a choice item may select a new move after Clean Slate is used. Clean Slate never fails, but it has a maximum of 1 PP. PP Ups have no effect. PP cannot be restored for this move until after the battle has ended.

Pros: Clears all effects from the field at once, not only curing you of status, but also removing hazards such as Stealth Rock.

Cons: It does the same for your opponent, and can only be used once, making it more of a last resort than a reliable Heal Bell/Status Cure move.

Oración
Type: Normal
PP: 5 (Max 8)
Status
Accuracy: 100% (50% if used on previous turn)
Effect: The user sings a soothing melody that prevents all Pokemon who hear it from taking action. This includes partner's in double battles. Pokemon with the Sound Proof ability, or who are holding a Mental Herb are immune to this effect.

Pros: Functions like Protect, except it also prevents your opponent from using stat boosting moves.
Cons: In Double Battles, it obviously will cost your partner a turn as well. Like Protect, it has a chance of failure with successive use. It's PP is quite low, and any pokemon holding the proper item is immune for at least one move (Which may be all it needs).

BEHOLD THE GLORY THAT IS MS PAINT!!

I made a line of grass/flying birds called Fincheep, Gracku and Crocaw (Not to be confused with Croconaw.)

Fincheep
Grass/Flying
Evolves into Gracku at 18
Like Pidgey, Fincheep is a very small bird.. only smaller. Only around 4 to 6 inches tall, Fincheep is one of the smallest birds. It enjoys small berries, and during times of little food will use the leaf on its head to create its own in the same way a plant does. It is a clumsy fighter, and is more likely to be swung around than do much damage.

Fincheep is brightly colored, the males moreso than the females, and when they fully evolve the brightest are the ones that attract the most desireable mates.

Gracku
Grass/Flying
Evolves into Crocaw at 36
Gracku stands about three feet tall and is much larger than its previous form. They are very egotistical, and will spend hours each day with unfurled wings, showing off the shiny purple feathers on the inside. By this time, they have grown a small bud on the stalk on their head, which will continue to grow until the pokemon is ready to evolve.

Crocaw (like crow+caw. hehe, get it?)
Grass/Flying
Crocaw can easily match a full-grown Pidgeot in size, but unlike Pidgeot Crocaw is not as fast a flyer, and cannot catch food with their talons. The bud on their stalk has now fully bloomed, and they use it to lure prey in close in order to catch it, so their diet consists mostly of insects. They are very brightly colored, and proud of their plumage, and make sport of taunting their enemies by reflecting the colors into their eyes. Their feathers are very shiny and reflective.

The flower on their heads will change colors, grow and shrink depending on the seasons.

I'll add in some movesets when I feel like it.

Pokédex entry: "Seen sneaking around at night with a tattered sack on their back, Bayndet are expert thieves. Each Bayndet wears a Zapdos-like mask passed on by their mother to honor the thunder bird."

Notes: I actually came up with Bayndet when I was brainstorming for a create a pokémon competition on another pokémon adoptable board. At the time, I couldn't think of any raccoon pokémon (until after I got a basics down for him, then I remembered Zigzagoon.), and noticed there were no electric/dark types. Dark, being my second favorite type next to fire, made the brain tick. The sack actually was inspired by those burglars in the original games that appeared to be carrying them in the Cinnabar Mansion.

Oh, one day I will sprite you Bayndet ):< Just you wait and see. I have a basis of his shiny form too. I just have to wait until I get home to re-open the .flv so I can swap the colors around.

While Eclipse is in effect the base power of Dark-type moves and Ghost-type moves will be increased by 50%, and all other Pokemon who are not party Dark or part Ghost will receive a negative modifier of 2 to their accuracy. In addition to this, the moves Synthesis, Morning Sun and Moonlight will no longer have any effect, and SolarBeam will become unable to charge, making it unusable (unless the Pokemon is holding a Power Herb).
A Pokemon using Flash will end this weather change early

I had this idea a long time ago... The evolution family is based off the Black Dog phantom.

Name: Scairn
Explanation: A combination of "scare" and "Cairn."
Appearance: Based off the Cairn Terrier, but purple and black with yellow eyes that glow. Shiny form is pitch black, and eyes glow a ghostly green.
Species: Ghost Dog Pokémon
Type: Ghost/Ground
Move examples: Screech, Dig, Shadow Ball, Crunch, Howl, Perish Song
Pokédex Information: Scairn is nocturnal; it comes out at night to hunt. People who raise Scairn count on them as loyal watchdogs to guard the house at night.

At Level 30:
Name: Scerrier
Explanation: A combination of "scarier" and "terrier."
Appearance: A ghostly version of a Kerry Blue Terrier with a long, ghostly tail and no legs. Pitch black with white eyes. Shiny form has a green tint to it, like shiny Pokii on GPX+, and glowing green eyes.
Pokédex Information: When it howls, Scerrier's voice is haunting. It is a well-known fact that people faint shortly after hearing a lone Scerrier howl at the moon.

Via Happiness in the nighttime:
Name: Skerriest
Explanation: A combination of "scariest" and "Kerry," for Kerry Blue Terrier.
Appearance: Based off Cerberus, the three-headed canine guardian of the underworld in Greek mythology. Pitch black with red, glowing eyes on all three heads. Shiny form has yellow eyes.
Species: Phantom Dog Pokémon
Pokédex Information: Paintings of Skerriest have been found in ancient ruins, proving that the Pokémon seems to have been used as a guard since ancient times. When it is angry, nothing can stop it from wreaking total havoc on the surroundings.

I've also thought they should make a Baby Pokémon for Vulpix with only three tails. So the tail count goes 3 - 6 - 9 as it evolves.

I actually recently randomly came up with my own pokemon called Icicub (Ice-i-cub). It's a little ice type lion cub with new special moves I came up with called freezer burn which is basically an ice version of flamethrower, and ice slash. It has a full grown lion evolved form whose name I am currently working on. Originally I had Liceon(ly-sawn) in mind but now I am considering that it doesn't sound good.

The basic description is that Icicub's tail fur, nose and claws are made of ice while the rest of it's body is covered in light blue freezing cold fur. If it does not allow your touch your hand will be frozen, somewhat like the opposite of Ponyta. Liceon's mane is made of snow. In below freezing climates their claws will eventually break after too many uses of the ice slash move but can easily be repaired by dipping them in water and allowing it to freeze like making a Popsicle.

Name:" --- " (not named yet, I can't figure out a good name facepalm.gif )
Type: Electric/Steel
Behaviour and general characteristics: --- (not named yet) is a very agile and quick in reactions feline-like pokemon. It chases after its pray with great agility and speed and then catches it with its retractile claws. It resembles a cougar or a cheetah, and the power of an attack is determined by this pokemon's mood. It is hard to take care of it and train, but once --- (the pokemon's name) gains trust in its trainer it may become a very protective and loyal ally. In rare cases, it may make a bond with its trainer and develop psychic abilities. Its ability, Aura Shield, is a hint of how these rare pokemons are prone to psychic powers.
This species is known as stubborn and finical.

Size: --- is a quadrupedal mamal and resembles a big cat (a cheetah or a cougar), with an an armour-like, silvery, solid and somewhat spiky "fur" protecting and covering its head, the back, and the tail. Otherwise, its ears are reather small, with black tips, while the fur has a yellow-orange color. ---'s chest is somewhat deep and its waist a little narrow. It has rectractile claws and a muscular and compact body, with long legs. Black "tear marks" run from the corner of its eyes down the sides of the nose to its mouth to keep sunlight out of its eyes and to aid in hunting and seeing long distances. Omega Pokemon

Dex info: Seen only once in all of recorded history, this Pokemon is believed to have been born at the same moment as Arceus. It is believed that this Pokemon is also the creator of the renegade pokemon, Giratina. History hints that this Pokemon is currently residing in a remote section of outer space.

Description: (image soon) It was described as a Dragon-esque creature with an elonfated neck and pierecing eyes. It shared many traits of giratina, including coloring, ferocity, and size. It possessed a wingspan nearly 16 feet in length from wingtip to wingtip, the wings themselves were leathery and imposing. It was protected by a suit of plated armor that provided both protection and strength. It's forearms were well built and it's hands ended in three claw hooked fingers. It's legs were constructed in a eat as a chiken's were, with an extra bend to give them more flexibility. Along its back were two rows of crimson spikes, much like Giratina. The feet of the creature were described as "unusual" as the front of each was dominated by two very large toes, an equally large claw jutted from each, the backs housed two similar clawed toes, but these were slightly smaller in size. Then protruding from either size of each foot was a flat, bony growth, which most scholars assume were to help it keep its balance. Last but not least, the creature possessed a moderately sized tail, tipped in what could be called a "golden trident."

Types: Dark, Dragon.

I had an idea for a Ghost/Steel evo line the other day.

The first one could be called something like Hellmet and it is basically a possesed helmet with Levitate as its ability. Then, using some item it would evolve into Darkmour turning into some sort of aura thing wearing an armour. It would be pretty creepy.

Pokemon based on this legend: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chonchon .
Dark/Flying type that evolves.
It'd have an attack that only works on sleeping Pokemon, making them faint on the next turn if they don't wake up.

Another idea I have is a Grass/Fighting or Grass/Dark "ninja" that uses Grass as some sort of Stealth, and its ability would be that whenever it is hit by a Fire attack it loses its Grass typing for either the rest of the match or a few turns.

After my last return to GPX+, I was thinking of some new Pokes I could invent (and I already made HUNDREDS, even though most were not far beyond general look/typing). I thought I could make up a Poison legendary - and ended up making whole legendary trio.

Kamuran (Turtluran)
Type: Poison/Steel
Species: Reactor Pokemon
Ability: Fallout (every Poke in the battle with Kamuran has a chance to get poisoned)
Signature move: Uranium Leak (special attack OHKO move)
General description: Kamuran is a turtle god of an extinct Polynesian tribe that god corrupted by nuclear tests and took on the appearance of a nuclear reactor, then was unleashed by a villainous team on a major city to "punish" people for messing with the environment.

Koronosu (Cronus)
Type: Grass/Ground
Species: Titan Pokemon
Ability: Touch of Earth (heals Cronus slightly each round when not somehow lifted off)
Signature move: Entangling Roots (trapping Grass-type move that deals small damage every turn and prevents switching out)
General description: Cronus is a personification of "wrath of nature". This titanic, humanoid figure, covered with bark, roots and leaves, was a guardian of nature in the old times but devastation of forests by humans driven it away until it could return to once more pristine Earth once humans are gone. A villainous team awaken him prematurely, but failed to control his power and ended up with his power unleashed upon a major city, in anger of what humans done.

Oodinari (Thundrodin)
Type: Electric/Ghost
Ability: Hammer of Storms (allows electric type moves to strike targets normally immune to it)
Signature move: Thunderstorm (basically, electric type "earthquake")
General description: Thundrodin appears to be a raven or eagle-like spirit with humanoid lower body. This ancient thunder spirit has once been known to stop Cronus's wrath with his unique move. When Cronus and Turtluran started fighting over (insert city name here), Thundrodin returned to calm them down.

Mega-Aurorus

There is not much that can be done with it's typing, as upon Mega-evolving it must keep either rock or ice... because Aurorus is the bulky kind, and because we have no ice/steel pairing yet, i thought about this one, the ice/steel combo, but of course, there would be a problem: 3 crippling 4x weaknesses, which would make the pokemon totally undesirable (not that it doesn't already have 2 4x weaknesses). So we've got to fix that through a fair enough ability (considering how disadvantaged the ice type is, from the Hail that strangely enough only gives a 100% blizzard, to the small number of moves or boosts available)

Type: Ice/Steel
Ability: Arctic Terrain (created by The Majestic Mr L in the upper post) and with the aformentioned effects: prevents non-volatile status conditions and halves the damage taken from moves super effective against Ice. The terrain fades after five turns. Does not effect flying types(unless they are holding a Iron Ball or Ring Target), Pokemon with Levitate, Pokemon holding an Air Balloon, or Pokemon affected by Magnet Rise or Telekinesis. (because logically speaking, ice along with fire and grass would be the only ones that could actively affect the terrain, well, maybe rock as well, but they don't need terrains, they have cool abilities xD)
Arctic terrain will be able to work alongside weather effects, and can only be cancelled by another terrain move or after th 5 turns have ended, which means that the Hail we get from Aurorus will work alongside the Arctic Terrain provided by Mega Aurorus. This would further mean:

Weaknesses for 5 turns: 2x Ground; 2x Fire; 2x Fighting
Damaged normally by: Rock; Steel; Dark; Ghost; Water; Electric
Resistant to: Normal; Bug; Flying; Grass; Psychic; Ice; Dragon; Fairy
Item:

Base stats(521)/Mega Stats(621)

HP: 123 - 123
At: 77 -> 60 (-17)
Def: 72 -> 114 (+30; +11)
Sp At: 99 -> 140 (+40; +1)/ or 130 (+30; +1)
Sp Def: 92 -> 115 (+20; +3)/ 125 (+30; +1)
Speed: 58 -> 70 (+10; +2)

We beg you, gamefreak! x3.gif Though i guess Ice will never rise from the shadows... no.gif Unless someone decides to give this Aurorus with one of the coolest designs a boost woot.gif
