The war among the three unique griffin species has finally come to an end, the land scarred from the long battles. The evil ones have been put to rest, never to rise again. Two brothers, the last of their species, the last of the "evil ones," travel across the land to find a home they can call their own. Through the hardships that they will face from life, to the memories that will be cherished forever; they will have to face them and grow stronger, to find the truth behind their species' annihilation and to show the world just who they really are.

I have finally decided to make a topic for this, a new comic that PokemonStar and I have created together! Now I must say, the pages might be slow, but that's because we're both pretty busy people (and a tad bit lazy). I do hope to have a page per week, but that's only if I'm not incredibly busy. I hope to make a small FAQ later, information about the species and characters is coming soon!

Yes, right now it's only the cover page that is done, but I am working on the first page too! I know, I'm not the best at shading/coloring.

Because I'm sure it will come up at some point: No, I do not own a tablet, I drew everything by mouse and will be drawing it all by mouse.

Please, if you have any questions about the story or the characters, or even just something in general, ask. Critique is welcome as well(though I mainly know what I did wrong...).

Whether we accept others to help us is still in debate, but we're edging more and more towards it, we really could use the help.

Sorry it's taking so long to make the pages, but I just have to get the feel for them, y'know? Anywho, I've come here to say that I have finished the first page! *fanfare* But...I decided to wait until the second page is finished, but don't worry, I already have the first page drawn, I only need to color it!

I decided to try and update a page a week, possibly every Saturday, but because I'm just starting off I think I will post 2 or 3 pages the first day, just to get things rolling.
Hopefully nothing incredibly hard comes into my life, that may slow down my process.

ALSO: I must add that there is a griffin language, and the first few pages will be in it, not to worry though, underneath the page I will have the translations, and soon I'll even give you the alphabet so you can decipher it yourself if you want a challenge.
My partner who's working on this with me shall post the special griffins info and the character references(when she's done).

There are a few people's characters that were used in the introductions, these were either asked to be put in or put in in honor for them, those characters belong to them, Kali/Fera/Dofugriffs belong to us. Art belongs to me.

Any questions or suggestions please feel free to say them here. Note: very simple coloring because it takes about 4 hours to do each page without adding shading, so...only a few have shading on them, sorry.
Anywho, enjoy! I shall have page 3 and 4 done sometime this week.

Well, now you just learned about the three griffin species, so I guess you have some questions and such, right? No worries, you can always ask us about anything. In the end, it does help us, too.
Below this is three bios on the newly introduced griffin species', along with specific information on each one. At the moment, we are not accepting fan griffins, but things may change sooner or later... We need more characters.

Feragriff
The Reptile Griffin

Height: Anywhere between 8-11 ft.
Weight: 600-1000 (some griffins weighing more)
Strengths: Size and power
Weaknesses: Fire/Extreme Heat
Differences: Extreme size, flightless
Common Elemental power: Earth
Common Traits: Arrogant, Stubborn.
Dialect: Fera

The Feragriff, the largest and most powerful species of Griffin. The Feragriff is part bird and part reptile, making them a formidable opponent. They use their sheer size to win almost every battle, but if that wasn't enough: They have powers of the Earth. With a bloodcurling screech, they can fling rocks and command the leaves. The Feragriffs can be brutal and vicious if battled. Otherwise, they tend to be wisecracks, boastful and proud of their powers.
The Feragriff dialect is somewhat rough and deepened, often times sounding like a evil cackle. When speaking their native language, translating tends to be the hardest due to their accent.

Kaligriff
Cat Griffin

Height: 3-5 ft.
Weight: 100-300
Strengths: Quick, stealthy, sly
Weaknesses: Frail, Fragile
Differences: Small size, acute senses
Common Elemental Powers: Air, Fire
Common Traits: Snobbish, Conceited
Dialect: Kali

Ahh, the Kaligriff, the smallest but most fiercest Griffin species! The Kailgriff is stealthy and sly, using its size to get a jump on opponents. They are fly very fast, making them sound like buzzing bees. They're also very intelligent, using strategy and skill vs. power. Their senses (Touch, Hear, Sight, Smell, Taste) are also stronger, due to lack of size.
The Kali dialect when speaking their native language is fast and a higher pitch; most have to slow down for translators to understand.
They can also control fire; usually by lighting one on their fingertip or commanding a giant flame out of nowhere. They use this tactic to make their enemies surrender, or destroy whole fields of soldiers. They are the most numerous of the three Griffin species.
The Kaligriff is known to be part feral cat. Their body's are lithe and flexible, but also strong and sturdy.

Canine Griffin

Height: 6-9 ft.
Weight: 500-700
Strengths: Wise, Intelligent
Weaknesses: Ignorant, Clumsy
Differences: Swift, long life
Common Elemental Power: Air, Water/Ice
Common Traits: Bossy, egotistical
Dialect: Dofu [i]

The Dofugriff is the oldest, wisest Griffin Species. They specialize in legends and tales, as well as air and ground speed. They hit fast and hard in battles, immobilizing their opponent with water or ice, then dealing a final blow. Even though they are strong, they prefer to settle disputes without battling. They believe in peace between griffin species'. They like to take charge, and are well at handling situations with a group. They use battle strategies and other tactics in war.
They live the longest and are also great historians. They love to learn and created the first way of tracking information; using tree bark to record certain things.
Every moon, the Dofugriffs share stories of the old and believe closely in family ties.
The Dofugriffs are the least numerous griffin species.

Hello everyone! I'm here again. Sadly no page due to a few reasons.
So I have come here partly for that reason, the other reason being: I need help with the comic. Yes, I'm actually looking for people to help PokemonStar and me in this comic.
So I'm going to get to the list of what we need help with.

1. Coloring, it takes a long time to do it and I just don't have that much time really.
Requirements- I suggest a program that has layers, it can help with different colors, but I also suggest something with blur/smudge, to make the colors blend a bit more.
Shading is mildly required, there has to be shading, but it doesn't have to follow my style.

2. Characters, there are many civilizations in this world, new characters help us make a side-plot and easier coloring.
Note - The Griffin species are not the only species in this world, there are other kinds as well including: Dragon, Phoenix, and Sea Serpent. There may be more, but those are the definite.
Requirements - Actual color schemes, meaning no rainbows etc. No jewelry/metal etc.
Fill out the biography and send it to me. Since there are not many pages out for the story, you don't have to put a lot in the biography of the character.

You can have more than one character. Up to 3, you can either PM me these or say them on here.

3. Ideas, we really need these as well. As the plot goes on it's hard to think what might come next and such. So either predictions or suggestions(predictions will act like suggestions in this case) we'd love to have them.
Note- Ideas can get shot down, it's not to be mean, but some ideas we want, some others we don't. I've shot down my own before, so has PokemonStar.

4. Translations, think I just used a pile of random words to make the sentences in the past few pages huh? Nope, I have a key that I made for the language, this can take a while to get used to, for 1 letter can equal 2 or 3 in the griffin language.

Last but not least, this is a simple way of helping us out. I've seen how many views I've gotten on this thread, but despite all that, there have been no comments besides from the two who commented on the cover(which I am very grateful you two commented). I really need to know if there are people out here who read my comic or not, otherwise I find no reason to continue it.

Please help us out in any way you can and want! Thank you everyone.

The leaders, regretting what they had done...
...ended the war in an era of peace.
Apparently, the Dofugriffs had other plans...
They went into the others' territories...
...crept over to their leaders...

Yeah, I decided to get my butt into gear and finish this page.
Though this shall be the last page that I post here, I shall be continuing the series, but I don't think anyone here cares enough, so I shall stop wasting my precious free time to create these for here.

I did this one really quick, mainly because I didn't want to spend 7 hours coloring it when I knew what the end result would be anyways.
