Not sure if this is cool or not. If not, please feel free to lock and delete, mods!
Anyway, I just grabbed two "Snowballs" out of the backroom at the shop. They're listed under rare evolution items, but I can't figure out what for. I thought maybe for Snowy Girafarig, but the dex doesn't have any info, and the wiki doesn't have anything either. Well this is a coincidence.
I am 99% sure that this is used to evolve the Kalos starters into Snowman Fenniken, Snoman Chespin, and Snowman Froakie. I literally just saw these new novelties in Big Bidoof's party and I was thinking about asking about them. They don't appear to have any dex info yet though, oddly. --------------------  |

So I'm guessing the snowball will work like a corruption orb...? Shame, that would make them very expensive to shiny hunt. I mean, it could still be a regular evolution item...
But yeah, exciting to see things happen nonetheless.

Double checked. They are in the dex now- you can find out how to get them by going to Fennekin, Chespin, and Froakie's lookups.
