I am using the grass starter, Tsutaja. <3 I got my Japanese White copy thanks to a friend.
I hunted for about a week and got him shiny as well, so I'm pretty pleased~ This is about.. the 3rd time I've ever used a grass starter.. First was Yellow, second was Silver but I ended up starting a new game anyway. I'm usually not a huge fan of the grass starter, but this little snake captured my heart. :3 --------------------   |

Snivy or Oshawott. They're both cute- Snivy as last evo and Oshawott as 2nd and 1st. If I get Osha, I'm keeping it at it's 2nd form.

Oshawott. I don't know why some people have been hating on the lil guy, he looked cute, and his final evolution looks freaking EPIC. The pig is just ugly. If I get both, I'll probably go with the grass snake thing on one version, for a little variety.

I started with Mijumaru and I really like how he's working out for my team. I'm lame and tend to pick which I think is cuter, but I do have a sort of preference for the grass starters (well, Bulbasaur and Turtwig anyhow).

I'm having the hardest time picking one. I don't like Tepig's evolotions very much, so not him. The other two I'm soo stuck on deciding on who. Dx I feel bad for not liking Oshawott after reading this comic.

I actually agree, except hating the fires, Tepig is good but his evolutions could be better. Snivy is cool but not as cool as the Final water one but I really dislike the other two water evos as well.
I think Snivy's the best choice, but you could always pick one on Black and one on White (And if they release a third, the final on that). --------------------       |

Tepig. I like it's appearance and evolutions. I also like it's stats more for some reason. Besides, I always pick Fire type starters, hands down.

I started off my JP White playthrough with Mijumaru/Oshawott, and so far the decision wasn't...a BAD one per se. It's sturdy enough to not die after one hit, manages to outspeed decent stuff, and can basically mix-sweep with Boiling Water and Shell Blade. Overall good choice.
I think I'll end up picking Snivy for a different playthrough, though it'll be tough to break away from the awesome that is Erufuun. Seriously, that thing is hardcore bulky and FAST. -------------------- |

At first, I was going to grab Tepig, since I almost always go for the Fire starters. (Been doing that since Crystal.) But then I saw its final evolution and I wasn't terribly impressed. Snivy never really did much for me, either.

I've always went with Fire first, then played it again for the other two.
But I'm think I'm going to go with Oshawott this time and probably not play it again(Seems to be way too much stuff to start over again and again for me). Was nothing against the other two starters, they all look good to me, I just got more interested in Oshawott and it seems like the better choice for me. --------------------  |

Ever since the start of my pokemon game life, i have chosen fire type.
Something about that charmander just lit the match. And the Fire type starter for Black and White is very interesting, and looks promising. I have not looked at the stats yet, but I will do so soon. I do like the new watertype, but im sure i will still go with Fire anyways -------------------- MY EGGS!!!       My rag tag collection of Gene Spliced Pokemon.        |

I'm having a lot of trouble deciding between Tsutaja/Snivy and Mijumaru/Oshawott. Since I'm having trouble deciding which game I should get as well, I'll probably end up getting both games and go with smugleaf on one and wotter on the other.
