Oh, I remember this too! Mine was an Onix card, that I got in second grade from my brother. Since he was in fourth grade, and could get Pokémon cards, he had quite the card collection. However, I was the much bigger fan of Pokémon, so I would do favors for him and etc. so he would give me more cards. Back then I only liked getting my favorite Pokémon - I didn't really follow the game that much. But boy did I collect them. When I grew bored of them all I gave them all away... don't know where they all went though.
Actually, this is quite funny. Being the relic I am, there was a promotion on the back of those Lunchables when I was a kid, and there were cutout Pokémon cards on the back of the box, with like a picture on the front and a little description on the back. Until I saw an actual Pokémon card (the first one I saw was a Staryu... My first card well first rare was a Jungle series Sycther I was sp happy and stupid a that age I trade it for like 10 cards which were like all Rattata and other commons....

The first cards I bought where one of those starter decks. I think it was the gras/water one. I've given most of them to my sister, but I kept the holographic Garaydos.

my first card was a jolton then i got evee thats all i remember
--------------------  Skarmonite is a hybrid of Skarmory and Dragonite. The normal Skarmonite inherited Skarmory's colors. The shiny Skarmonite inherited Dragonite's colors. The feelers are opposite on each, showing the link between shiny and normal. |

My first cards were from a vending machine at a bowling alley. They were all from the Rocket set; meowth, magikarp, and mankey. I still have the mankey and I think I have the meowth, but the magikarp is lost somewhere in my room.

I never even knew where pokemon cards came from. In first grade I stole them from the person sitting next to me.
I got a gloom, charmander, and oddish. I still have them in a box around here somewhere. The first time I bought a booster (holy crap, 6 bucks for cards.) My very first card was a Pichu from the Neo Genesis set. The pack I opened was shuffled differently from the rest of the packs, so instead of having a common staring at you when you first open the pack I had a Holographic Pichu.

My very first card? I think it was an Eevee, a plain old regular Eevee all on its lonesome when my sister gave me one out of pity, I think it was.

Hm, I can't really tell what my very first card was because I bought a Boosterpack from the very first Collection. I only know that I got a Mewto Card in that Boosterpack xD Well, this should be over 6 years now and I still got that Card ^//^ I guess its kind of a lucky charm.
