Shiny Pokemon are the rarest of the rare. These rare Pokemon are not the same color as regular Pokemon, so hatching and owning a shiny is one of the most rewarding feelings in the world. This is a place where people who love finding shiny Pokemon can get together and share their shinnies. Our members are shiny hunters of all skills. There are some who hunt common to rare shiny Pokemon and some that take on the ever daunting task of finding shiny legendary and novelty Pokemon. So come join us in the ever great feeling of owning a shiny.

• • • R U L E S

• To join the group, you must have at least 1 shiny in your possession [PROOF REQUIRED]. It doesn't matter how or where you got the shiny, you just need to be the current owner of it.
• You must have a Shine Recorder. If you don't own one, you may purchase one in the main shop for 6000 points. There are also slot upgrades which cost a bit more. You can buy up to 4 of these upgrades for 4 extra hunting slots!
• Please follow all the Forum Rules. Anyone breaking Forum Rules will be reported. There's a pretty shiny report button on every post and I'm not afraid to use it.
• Be polite to your fellow Shiny Lovers. This includes not getting annoyed because X got shiny Pokémon Y before you. This means no cussing at someone, snappy or whatever. If someone is doing something offensive/against the rules JUST REPORT IT. Nothing else.
• Please send every single form to myself, via PM.
• Put somewhere on the form the phrase "Amazing Iridescence"
• If you change your name, please inform me via PM.
• Your Account Number is the number under your Avatar.
• When you post a screenshot of your Shiny Hunts, please do not include the Pokémon egg design. This is a form of egg IDing which is against the Forum Rules.

- Every alternate SWSH month we will have a GWSH. Group Wide Shiny Hunts start on the 15th and go until 12:00 at the end of the month.

Id like to officially say welcome all old and new members to the shiny new shiny lovers thread! We have a new event coordinator with us "Painting" who will be, well, running events XD Id love to see full events and active members, so to speed up the re-application process, if you were a member of the previous shiny lovers thread, just PM me with your user number and I'll re-add you to the member list ^^

Can't wait for the events!

I'm sure I'll enjoy the drawing contests. I wish I had a tablet to draw with, though. It's harder to make pictures on my laptop compared to drawing on paper.

That's what I use.
I have GIMP and Krita downloaded, too, but I haven't used them much. I did play with the tools on Krita and made my current avatar, though. I think I had made a few of my past avatars with GIMP, too.

I never really got used to them, though. I guess I should start messing with them more...

Before my computer was not able to download paint.net so I resorted to just plain "Paint" and that was a terrible experience. I was able to download paint.net about a few weeks ago and now I love it!

Now how about those SWSH choices ^^

I'm gonna go for all of the SWSH choices (hopefully I'll get them all). I'm going after Carbink first, as I've been wanting a shiny one of it for a while. Then I'll try for Inkay and Scatterbug after that. Then I'll go for Inkay again so I can have a shiny Inkay and Malamar. Then I'll go for a lot of Scatterbug.

I really doubt I'll get as many Scatterbug as I want (gonna go for 20 ), but I'm still gonna try.

Hello, I dunno how active I'll be in this Group since I've got my own to take care of, but I'll try to converse in the thread at least.

I make no guarantees for the Group Contests, though they sound like fun.

The owner replied to my Joining Form PM with "Welcome" so I think I'm allowed to post in here...

Yah Zac has a busy life, but if he replies or not, even if you send your application in and you feel confident, there is really no way you cannot be in unless you don't have a shiny so that's fine.

Like I posted Paint.NET is WICKED easy to use, from filling things and such. Plus what's easier is I'm making the templates for those kinds of contests so everyone just has to fill and draw.

Was hunting this because I have a shiny Furfrou in my AS game, but that one is female, so this is a genderfail.

I guess I'll be hunting this again, which isn't really bad, since I plan on getting one for each style eventually once I get the combs.


About how many members are we going to wait for before we start an event?

Hiraelle, I did this with Gligar whilst Good Luck hunting. It took me only 2 batches later to do it for real with Lily Paddington the Lotad.

As for the GWSH, the winner (Hiraelle) will receive what ever reward she wants XD This can include either 5 tier 10 trinkets, a hand drawn medal, or a short game made in their honor. I've recently completed my shiny Deibot hunt which took me almost a year. I got plenty of other shinies since my last post too.
