if i may ask, what do you use to make your sprites and how do you make the backround invisble? i made my eevee in paint and ive done a few sprite mixes in paint, i would like to know how to make the backround invisable xD

well, go to this place http://www.iaza.com/. choose your file, and click on transparent. but if you have a pokemon with white eyes or white colors, it won't work.

what do you use to make your re-colours / splices? photoshop?
i've tried in the past with paint and they came out okish but i wanna know if you use anything different =]

i use paint, and i save them as PNG's. if you saved them as anything else, they'd come out blurry. then i upload them on photobucket. i don't have photoshop.

i use the sprite resource from www.dragonflycave.com. Butterfree has sprites from ruby, sapphire, emerald, leafgreen, firered, diamond, pearl, and platinum. if i wanna do a revamp or a devamp (i'm terrible at those, so i'm not offering them) i go to www.pokemonelite200.com. you can just type in www.pe2k.com in the url space and it'll take you there.

that site has sprites from all games except for platinum, and has item sprites from leafgreen. that place also has pokemon eggs from ruby and sapphire.

for a first splice, that's great. on this other forum i go to, this one kid made a terrible splice. it wasn't connected and everything. i don't think it was his first either. he kept begging for a good crit. he got banned.

musical, so your sprites done have tranparent eyes change the backround to a colour thats not used in the sprite before making backround transparrent that way theres no backround and no see-through eyes/claws etc =] and if people still want one with a backround then just give them a white back =]

yea i know. when i give out sprites, i give one with a background and without a background. they can choose whichever one they like best.

i don't give a pokemon that has pure white as a color, because then the transparency will get rid of the white and it'll look weird.

they were. same with the buizel i just did. they had pure white eyes.

when i was doing gardichu, i had to make another shade of gray for pikachu, and i was being careful not to make it pure white. it still needed to be a highlight, just not white white.

the eyes and the shine on the ball is trans :l just upload 2 pics 1 with white backround and 1 with a non used coloured bacjkround and make that the trans colour then no trans eye / shines

i mean upload the white backround one as normal then when your gonna upload the transparent backround one, go to paint and make the white backround some other colour that isnt used in the sprite that was, when you change it to transparrent there wont be missing eyes and shines =]

it's good, but you need to practice. what i do is take the two pokemon and recolor them shade for shade. also, you have to use sprites from the same game. (Ex: diamond/pearl kecleon and diamond/pearl hariyama. ruby/sapphire/emerald kecleon and ruby/sapphire/emerald hariyama.) you also have to save as a PNG or else it won't look good.

you know about those things right? if you did, uh...just keep doing that, i guess.

here's my kecleon and hariyama recolor, just so you know what i'm talking about.

see? he's a lot more cleaner and with tons of practice, maybe yours will end up looking like this one? i still like your kecleon, though.

and just so you know, i'm a good girl, not a good sir.

pokemon inbreeding....i did that with a blaziken. i bred her with a dunsparce in a ruby game i had, hatched the torchic and evolved the thing, then bred it with blaziken in order to get an army. FWAHAHAHAHA

i wanted kyogre...he's the only legendary i like, as he distroyed the elite 4 in one sapphire game, so i have a soft spot for him
and groudon's ground type, gaara.

i always though groudon was a fire/ground :l hence why he was red ... and could use fire moves and earthquake .... which i used to destroy most of the elite 4 with xD
i love battling the elite 4 with a legendary and having a lvl 5 pokemon hold exp share ... i gains like 12 lvls per ko xD
