How many langauges do you know? I know English and Spanish fluently while I know Japanese somewhat fluently (still learning some characters). I'm learning two langauges, French and Latin, and my progress is coming along pretty well.

So far my native language is English. I'm learning Spanish, and attempting Japanese.
At some point I would like to learn Polish or Gaelic; the interesting languages always catch my eye. -------------------- Currently a student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst studying in the field of psychology. English and two years of French... Too bad I'm terrible at it XP I'm either gonna learn German the next 3 years, or take Greek one year and take a year of Rosetta Stone (French) then go back to French... I'm still deciding on it.

My native language is Russian, and as far as I know I can speak English pretty well (although actually speaking it is a bit tough). Because of the similarity to my first language I know bits of Belorussian and Ukrainian, but that's about it.
I plan to study Chinese in the future. -------------------- |

I came with English. ^^ Took two years of Spanish, but I doubt I could carry on a conversation. And with the Portuguese I've been exposed to, I should know that, too, but.. eh.. XD
I would love to learn many languages. I consider myself a pseudo linguist lol. -------------------- |

I know English. That is all...
French or Japanese would probably be the most useful languages for me to learn. -------------------- |

Currently I'm fluent in English and Spanish but am learning Italian. So far I think I know the equivalent to maybe the first three weeks of a Spanish one course only in Italian ^^ (used Spanish class as example because I'm not taking an in school course) this knowledge includes random nouns, colors, numbers, and ability to provide very basic description.

I speak Spanish (native), English and French. I'm not completely fluent in the latter, but I will be one day. Living in a bilingual city does help, and being close to Quebec even more so. I can speak it okay, but I'm better at understanding it written. I can also understand written Portuguese and Italian, but I don't really speak any. That will hopefully change this fall, however, as I'm hoping to take Italian in university. <3
I love learning languages. My majors are French and Linguistics, respectively. -------------------- ~official member of the Grass Group!~
