Global PokédeX Plus Forums _ GPXPlus Discussion _ Safari Bounty

I'm a returning member of GPX and have grown addicted with the Safari Zone. You never know what you may find there. Aprt from around two, all of my Novelty Pokemon came from the Safari Zone. I also found a Mega Gengar and Mega Absol there too. And quite surprisingly, Legendary pokemon.

My Giratina, Darc and a Hoopa i named Genie are my only self hatched Legendaries but the rest of what i have i found in the Safari Zone.

They consist of -
Reshiram
Cosmog x2
Hoopa x3
Manaphy x2
Darkrai
Shaymin Ground Form
Zygard 50%
Suicune
Kyogre
Cresselia
Celebi
Heatran
Jirachi
Tornadus Incarnate form.

9 of these i found yesterday. I find it confusing as to why they would be abandoned and slightly amazing that i managed to find all of these great Pokemon.

It's not that confusing; some people are just nice, or they like to release duplicates [because who really needs 5 Ho-Oh?] to make space in their collection. I've found quite a few interesting Pokemon in the Safari Zone myself, including a few shinies.

People who've been around for a while often end up collecting one of every pokemon, and from there on go to shiny hunt legendaries just because why not; the ones you see in the Safari are usually the duplicates of those hunts. I've released over a hundred Primal Dialgas, myself, and besides my living dex, I don't have a need for any of the legends I hatch.

I've found a couple of shinies in the safari, which I treasure. Sometimes people abandon duplicates of those. And sometimes users are banned, and that sends all their pokemon to the Safari zone, which is when you'll find the rarest things.

I personally get way more excited when I find a legendary egg in the shelter :P I found a Hoopa that way, and I'm very grateful to whoever released it, because I've yet to get that header event.
