Hi, I'm returning after quite a long hiatus after spontaneously remembering that I did have an account here when GPX+ was mentioned on another website. I successfully logged in, and evolved a couple of my pokemon, hatched an egg, etc. Then I noticed I had some forum notifications, so I checked on those, logging in over here as well. They were just notifications from the system about my account anniversaries.

However, when I went to navigate back to GPX+ itself, I encountered a strange issue; I had been logged out, and couldn't log in despite being very sure I was typing exactly the same things I had been before. I even checked the online listings to find myself there, and check my profile to see if I had been auto-banned for some reason. It was there that I noticed there was a bar stating my account needed to be "Validated"; I'm not sure if it had been there since I had been initially logged out, or only on my profile page, but that's where I first noticed it.

The validation link took me to this strange set of instructions:

No, I didn't edit out my email; it's simply not listed at all on here, despite having been able to use it to log into both the website and the forums just minutes before. I'm very certain no such validation email has been sent before or currently; only the initial one I used to sign up.

After several minutes, while I was typing this bug report up in fact, I was suddenly logged back in again. So, it seems like the situation resolved itself- but, this was kind of a strange bug, and it might be offputting for other returning users who aren't patient enough to wait it out.
