Hatch Time during SWSH

At the time of posting, I have 4 eggs that are ready to hatch that I have to wait about a whole hour longer to hatch. I don't understand why this is a thing during these events, considering how fast it is to get the eggs to that state. Then to have to wait a whole nother hour to hatch them.

And I know about flame orbs, but I don't have enough for the four and even if they were in the shop for me, I wouldn't be wasting precious prize points on buying them. To be honest, I don't know why this is a thing in the first place, regardless. It's an arbitrary barrier that just makes me want to disengage from playing.

tldr: I suggest getting rid of the time limits for hatching eggs for these type of events.

I second this. To me, the hour limit is completely arbitrary because it could've been bypassed if the breeder waited an hour to donate the eggs. All it does is punish people who happened to pick an egg whose breeder didn't wait and, like you said, discourages continuous play.
