With my luck the only pokemon that ever gets pokerus will be a level 100 pokemon that gets pokerus between reaching level 100 and my putting it in the PC. And then I will be stuck with an annoying party clogging level 100 pokemon for the next 3 days. Hmm, guess it should skip level 100 ones, huh? -------------------- Want a rotating avatar like mine? will the pokemon still get an increase in maturity gained after it's cured, like in the games?? seems like it shouldn't here, but then again if it's so rare, it might not hurt.
EDIT: rephrasing, the pokemon still get double EVs in the games, but since we don't have EVs here, will that translate to maturity? This post has been edited by Manticore: Jun 8 2009, 01:30 AM -------------------- |

No, once they're cured, they won't get any special increases anymore. Just the note on their info page that they've had it.

How expensive will the antidote be? If it costs a lot I might end up with a party full of sick pokemon and no cure. Or will it go away on it's own after a really long time?

An infected Pokémon is automatically cured after 3 days. this. idk about how much the antidote will cost. also, since this will probably be pretty rare and can't spread, I doubt you'll get a whole party full of Pokémon with the virus. and thanks for clarifying that bit, Zerx. I have a quick and possibly stupid question. I saw that you said only a small amount of Pokemon will be infected at the set time and then I went to the stats page and saw that only 9 Pokemon were infected, not counting Admin Pokemon. Will the numbers always be only about 9-10? Because I know it's rare, I just never imagined it would be THAT rare.

-------------------- I click back~ (As long as I'm on and see you clicked, before it resets.) When I finally find a Ditto he is getting glomped like there is no tomorrow. Beware, little Ditto~ How badly do I want Ditto? Why, I'd rather have him than a Legendary in an event! @_@ *that obsessed* Much thanks to everyone who clicks my PKMN and loves on 'em. <3 Part of the GPX+ Blogring. |

Nice update. This way it seems actually possible to get Wailmer to evolve haha. Too bad it can also strike non evolving pokemon.

Heh, pretty cool.
Hopefully when I start to level something with high maturity I'll catch the virus and make the task a bit less daunting -------------------- |

That's a great idea. I hop that one of my Pokemon get the virus.
