I have heard so many claims about way you can do this can someone tell me what are right and what are wrong.
1. You must use the event Arceus
2. You can use any non-shiny Arceus
3. You can use any Arceus
4. You can use any Arceus in s Cherish Ball.

If I do need the event Arceus can someone give a UK platinum AR code to spawn the UK one in my partyu so I can do the event in my UKI Heartgold.

It's the event arceaus. There is something about it on Serebii.

If I recall correctly, one needs to have a 'fateful encounter' Arceus to trigger the event. Any would do, apparently.

And it needs to be the only one in your current party, also.

By fateful encounter would a shiny I caught in pearl from the hall of orgin count?

OK let me put this simpler.
If I restart platinmu or pearl and hack the flute and cherish balls wikll the arceus be a fateful encounter arceus?

Fateful encounter means event.

So nothing you caught yerself, it says whether it is fateful in the Pokémon Profile (or whatever ye call it)

If I am not mistaken you had to go to toys-r-us when the event was going on to get the arceaus.

No that was the US. For the UK, Arceus was being given out at a few GAME shops around the country to coincide with the release of HG/SS for a couple weeks this month. (Best check the GAME website for details)
