Bidoof/Bidofo, I swear, this isn't a "what is this egg" thread |

Alright, we all know that Bidoof and Bidofo eggs look exactly the same, right?
If you hatch a Bidoof egg, and saw a Bidofo egg in the shelter, would it still identify the Bidofo egg as a Mystery Egg? Because if it would, that'd be a great way for anyone who wants a Bidofo to identify the egg. They could just grab the next Bidoof egg they see, hatch it, and then when they saw an egg that looks like a Bidoof/Bidofo egg, they could mouseover it and see whether it identified it as a Bidoof egg or a Mystery Egg. Also, why do Doduo and Kabuto eggs look almost exactly alike? -------------------- |

Yes, a bidofo egg will still be a mystery egg if you haven't hatched one and you've hatched a bidoof.

It has always been like that, and actually thats the only way to recognize is it Bidoof or Bidofo.
Doduo and Kabuto eggs were always like that too, and nobody yet has complained about it. After all, even if they did, I doubt they would change the sprites. -------------------- |

Doduo and Kabuto eggs are not the same. One is lighter than the other.

There is a significant difference in the description of Bidoof and Bidofo eggs. If you're paying attention, you really can't miss it.

Oh, haha, my bad. Sometimes when I read these topics, I might miss a word by accident.

I've seen them in the lab, too. I haven't been fast enough, but I've seen them.

...I'm pretty sure novelties don't appear in the lab unless there's some sort of event. Mostly you can only get them from the shelter.

Thanks for all the replies-now I can start my hunt for a Bidofo! Although I still wish I hadn't missed the Valentacool I saw in the Shelter. Or the Rayquaza egg kuuki released. At least I found and adopted a SECOND Dracowymsy egg before I missed the Rayquaza.
Posting all this from my PSP ftl. -------------------- |
