The actual roleplay is here! Dadadadaaa!

Hi, and welcome to my new reposted roleplay, Maya Reclaim! Just for starters, I would like to inform others that this does not have pokemon involved. I always wanted people to tell me if something was pokemon or not, and this is not.

Now for the actual roleplay. This time around, I will have official rules. Otherwise people will rampage. They always do.
Let the massive spoiler tags commence!

1. The official roleplay has to include posts about only the roleplay. No advertisement, videos (I'm looking at you, Bluelink...), or ranting. Please.
   
2. All posts have to be at least 4 sentences. If you can't think of actions, describe surroundings. If you are interacting with another person and they need to do something before you can, this rule is invalid. But only then!
   
3. In fighting (there will be fighting), you have to aim, not insta-connect. You can aim to hit the lower leg, but you can't have the throwing knife sink into the opponent's leg immediately.
   
4. Oh, sorry, this was a little late, but all gts rules apply.
   
5. There can and will be violence and death. If you die, you can be reincarnated, just not as an original Mayan.
   
6. If you do join, be warned that your character may or may not be used in my Wattpad story as a character, but they obviously won't do the same exact things as you do here.
   
7. This list will continually be updated. Always check here to see any new rules.

Everyone has heard about the mysterious Mayans and how they supposedly disappeared without a trace. They were believed to be slightly primitive, but what if they were just under a guise?

The truth is that the Mayans were the most intelligent of races in the Southern Hemisphere. They created most of what we use now in their infancy. Some tribes were most skilled in warfare, others in technology, and still others in academics.

The last activity of the ancient Mayans was, surprisingly, creating a nuclear weapon much stronger than the average nuke. This bomb, named the Bonuat, a combination of nuke, atom, and bomb, was so strong, that when it activated, it exploded the entire Mayan region. This bomb, however, was made to affect only humans and other biological things, but not the creations such as the pyramids and temples.

They have been flying in the sky for a while now, perhaps flying into wormholes to end up in this time period. The time when they land is far from when they left the ground, but they haven't aged at all. The year is 2012, and they land all over the world.

You, the roleplayer, are one of these Mayan people, and aim to retake your kingdom, your domain, your advancement. However, the people you have landed in the middle of are quite suspicious, and other Mayans didn't fall for as long, and ended up in other places at other times, possibly suffering amnesia.

You also need to meet up with everyone from your group, and you will instinctively know when they are near. Good luck.

Name: Draforin Jubolett

Gender: Female

Age: 17

Appearance: She is a redhead, with violet colored eyes and a fierce expression. Her skin is very light, so it is sunburned easily, unlike most Mayans. She wears this for a shirt, and a pair of jean shorts, with many a scratch on her leg. She has normal tennis shoes, one of which has a secret pocket under the tongue of the shoe that holds a small knife. Her jewelry consists of one thin band on the index finger of her left hand, with gold and purple stripes.

Sexuality (just to be safe): Straight

Weapons (if any): Draforin used to have a backpack of throwing knives back in Maya, with one stuck in her shoe for emergencies. When the bomb exploded, the backpack didn't go with her, so she only has the one.

Where did you land?: She landed in a jungle region, somewhere in Brazil, with people who lived in the trees.

History: Draforin was a part of one of the science/techno tribes in Maya. Her life was a normal one, going to school at the age of 6, going to science teachings in the park for field trips.

That is, until the death.

She didn't know the man: nobody knows their patients. She was with an experienced doctor, it being her first day. The patient was being treated for cancer, an easily remedied sickness at the time. But one wrong move, and they're finished.

The doctor had to go take care of another patient for a second or two, and trusted Draforin with taking care of the patient. However, it was soon found by her that he had a strange line of cancer, one she hadn't learned much about. She tried to help, but the man kept getting worse. She was forced to call the doctor back, but by the time he arrived, the man was too far to be saved.

Although the staff said that it wasn't her fault, she still felt responsible for the death. The man wasn't even very old, only in his late 20's. Draforin never forgave herself. She then proceeded to learn everything about every sickness, and everything to stop injuries and such. If someone is hurt, she will abandon every other instinct, stop what she is doing, and help, no matter who or what.

Personality: Undetermined. It changes with the situation.

Gender: Female
Age: 17
Appearance: Wendy is average height, or so she would like to think. She stands 6'3", and wears a white dress with several red ribbons. Her hair is a blue color, and is parted in two large streaks which run down to the small of her back. The rest is kept neatly on top of her head except for a few loose bangs. Her eyes are a dark brown, and she enjoys watching the sunlight filter through the trees. Her skin is a soft tan, making most call her beautiful, though none have seen her.
Sexuality (just to be safe): Strait
Weapons (if any): She wields a long scythe, while it is mostly red, the springs in the head(which will be explained later on) are black. The pole is also black. The blade is a shining metallic color, simply because she loves the sheen and would hate to ruin it with paint.(If you are at all confused during this, look at my signature under "How I feel about Twilight Werewolves")

Now, onto how she uses her scythe. While she does do some "Chopping" with it, and is capable enough, there are also springs in the head, and she sticks the long blade into the ground in order for her enemies to attempt to climb over the blade, which ends in them being launched back.

Where did you land?: A forest somewhere in the mid-east United States.
History: Wendy remembers nothing about anything really. She wracks her brain every day for an answer; but can find none. She finds herself good with animals, though, and hopes somehow they can lead her to her memory.
Personality: Wendy is rather shy. She puts on a cold demeanor to try and hide this, and mostly refuses to talk to people. She is very hard on herself when she messes up, and usually attempts to walk off and hide. When she actually opens up to someone(which is rare) she is rather kind and sweet, but it takes a lot to make her like you at all.

Ok! I just had an end-of-the-year review on this, so I was already in the know. It won't really be like the actual Mayans, however, because they sure as Hades didn't have bomb-building skills. This is kind of like if Mayans were the creators of everything we will ever know about, like the future showers-in-a-can.

EDIT: *sigh* Shadow, you ninja'd me. But alas, I can't be angry at the start of this! XD

Ah, I see. Anything I knew about the Mayans was drowned out by United States History, lol. So the Mayans in this story act more like modern day people as opposed to their traditional culture (whatever that is)?

Sakira: Yeah, I guess you could say that, but in my opinion it was more like they were the people from 2025. Their actual culture consisted of few peaceful people, and the majority was a kind of people who tore the whole entire fingernail off of their prisoners of war. But, that's too gruesome for a website frequented by people from the age of 9 to the age of... anyone young enough to hear, type, and know how to run a computer? Nah, scratch hearing and typing.

Shadow: You know how I said they always know when someone is near? Yeah... Near means in about the same continent. So as soon as you go to Texas, or I try to cross the border, I'll be alertish! So, yeah. Time to find my sombrero.

ANYWHERE. We need variety. Of course, in the western side of the world would help. Then no one needs to travel overseas. But, go ahead. Hell, maybe you accidentally fall on a cruise ship! That would definitely be varied.

Just a quick note about your post... Brazil would not have existed during the time the Mayans were around... So either the Mayans saw the future... Or Draforin would have NO idea what Brazil was.

I'm just picky for details xD
