Not that I care nor know too much about this stuff or anything.. But I think it's cool c: What is your zodiac sign? And does its description actually match your personality?

European



Aries
People falling under this sign are adventurous. They are generally self-willed and courageous. They may be seen as short-tempered individuals. They are often clever and confident. Seems that I'm a Sagittarius. It sort of fits, except the "optimist" part, I suppose I'm not really that much... I'm an Ox in the Chinese Zodiac. Also sort of fits, except the leader part, I guess.. I really try everything I can to not be the leader xD I do anger easily, though...

Mine is Sagittarius, but I'm not a bouncy, excitable, hasty person, though I am friendly. Everything else about it is correct, though.

When I think more about it, I think I lighten up atmospheres in a different kind of way. I don't like talking about sad or serious topics, and I try to get people around me to look at other people and situations in a more positive and tolerant way, if not for their sanity, then for my own. I'm still overcoming my struggles with Depression and Anxiety, so I like to keep everywhere I go as peaceful and uplifting as possible.

I like fun, but I like quiet fun, like playing video games, riffing movies, drawing, and going to museums, and everyone IRL laughs at my deadpan sense of humor (bosses, teachers, random people, not just my parents).

I don't act carelessly at all, and am cautious to a fault, but I will do stuff like randomly take one of my stuffed animals with me when I go to deposit one of my checks, or sleep on the floor of the dining room because I wanted to sleep in a different location, or make pancakes at 2:00 AM because they were the only thing in the house with chocolate chips in them. Stuff like that. (Before you say ADD, yes, I've been diagnosed with that, too. :V )

It fits me, but not in a readily apparent way, which is kind of cool. My Chinese one (Snake) fits me, too.

Wow the dates on the OP image are really messed up.

For me, my chinese zodiac sign (Ox) and my standard zodiac sign (Virgo) are nicely blended in terms of predicted personality traits - not all of the things from each are correct, but for the most part are true for each. I used to read up on all sorts of astrology stuff all the time when I was younger, but while I still do from time to time, its not as frequent.

Chinese: Rabbit

Hm, I'm not so sure about this. For the rabbit, most of it is correct I guess. Virgos are supposedly known to be neat freaks (which I am definitely not), very thoughtful, and logical. However, I usually suck at decision-making.

When I was younger I loved reading the zodiac/astrology personality stuff. I found it rather interesting, but didn't really believe in it too much. They're still fun to read, though.

Personally I'd say the European one is more accurate. Both have some which are inaccurate, The Dog being the most. I'm not really emotionally cold or a born leader. The rest is true, though.

The Libra description is actually incredibly accurate aha xD

My European one is Pisces... I think it fits me. Easily influenced by others' opinions and not very determined/courageous, but caring and kind... that does sound like me. I think.
"The Rat", though... not sure about that one. Noted for my charm..? I don't think that's true... and the "works hard to achieve goals" part, that really depends on what the goal is. For example... I'll work really hard for an item I really want in a video game, but not that much for, say... getting a great grade at a subject in school. *Is a bad student ;_;* I am generous to the people I love, though, and I definitely love to get stuff.

I'm a Capricorn/Dragon. Both fit my personality (online and off) quite well. Although, I don't have a very typical characteristic of Capricorns: patience. I'm about as impatient as they come. Everything else is right on the money, though.

EDIT: Specifically, I'm a Yang Earth Dragon. Which is funny, considering that the base element for the Dragon is Wood, not Earth. Earth is apparently associated with the planet Saturn (Western associations of Saturn correspond closely to Chinese element of Metal, whereas Chinese associations with earth correspond to Venus.) Whereas Wood corresponds with the Western element of Æther and the planet Jupiter in Vedic (Indian subcontinental) astrology.

well. i'm not very sensitive but i am pretty sympathetic. i'm not very helpful lol! i'm pretty determined & definitely very vague and idealistic. this is maybe half right.

I'm an Aries and a Monkey. The monkey fits me down to a tee, save for the adventurous part. That's not really a trait I have. As for Aries, not a lot of those traits describe me very well. I do have a short temper in most cases and I am pretty impatient, but I'm not not very confident or impulsive. I do like to think I'm clever, but most of the negative Aries traits are the ones that describe me the best, ha ha.

Also, the Water Monkey description from that site on the first page is surprisingly accurate, though I don't care much for gossip or 'meddlesome activities':

I'm a Scorpio, and it truly does fit me well. Although I try to keep a tight rein on my anger and jealousy, I can become very obsessive and have major mood swings. I do seem to have a magnetic pull on people =P

I'm also the Ox, and you'd think the two would clash horribly, but I do have qualities of both and am decently sane. At least, I think so

um.. I'd say it sort of fits me, I'm stubborn and tend to be foolhardy. Also Sagittarius are known for their commitment issues and I seem to of picked that up as well.. ;; But I'm not really outgoing, or really at all tbh. So I seem to lack that trait P:

I'm a ram in the Chinese zodiac and a cusp Libra/Scorpio.

Everything about the ram persona describes me except for a tendency to blow cash, which I'm a saver not a spender.

I think, in this case, a blend of Libra and Scorpio is a pretty accurate picture of me, but I'm not as courageous or jealous as the Scorpio description says.

I'm a Sagittarian Rat, and it's more than a little bit sad how well those signs match my personality. xD Pretty much anything that can be said about either of those signs can be said about me. Though, I also seem to take the 'mutable' status of Sagittarius to the extreme... my personality changes often to reflect the people I hang out with or the characters I write.

Hm. Yes, a little, yup, yup- Oh, possessive? I agree with that, I don't like people touching my stuff because I think they'll break it or make it dirty or- Yes, I agree with the possessive part. I wouldn't say I'm greedy or selfish, I just have very few nice things so I make sure they're well taken care of. ;m;

I usually fit Leo sometimes, but not all the time.
I've had several people tell me I often come off as a Cancer, and true enough every "Soul Sign" test or quiz I've ever taken says my heart is a Cancer heart.

But if you take Leo and Cancer, and put them together, that's exactly me.
If it helps, my Moon sign is Sagittarius and my Rising sign is Scorpio. XD

For Chinese astrology, I'm a Metal Horse.
I fit it exactly xD

I am also of a Yang year, and my spouse is of a Yin.

I was born an Aries, but that doesn't really fit me at all. I'm not very confident and I'm not very headstrong, both of which are defining characteristics. :P
I was born a little early in though, so I'm closer to Pisces. I think I'm much more like a Pisces than an Aries, but I guess I'm not a very good judge of that. ^w^;;
Also, I am a Rat, which does sort of fit me. Certainly more than Aries does.

Personally, I believe in the personality types. I've met many people who fit one sign or the other almost exactly. However, I'm a real doubter about the correlation between Astronomy and Astrology (I guess that's natural for one who doesn't really fit their sign). I don't really get how the position of the stars (or whatever they're basing it on these days) can have any effect on how one's personality turns out, especially since it seems like personality and outlook are such fluid things these days. People change naturally over the course of their lives. How does Astrology explain that?

Scorpio: It's funny that my birthdate matches up with Scorpio, but my personality doesn't match all of it. I read the others and I actually seem to match up more with Sagittarius, so it makes me wonder sometimes.
Dragon: This kinda matches me, except the whole "short tempered and confident on the outside" bit. Definitely not true, haha. The "gentle and softhearted on the inside" part, however, is a lot closer.

Well my Sun Sign is Capricorn, I know there's also a Moon Sign, which has something to do with your time of birth, but I don't know that one.

My Chinese one is Rooster/Dog, 'cause I was born in January 1994, and the ones born near the beginning or the end or a cycle, are known to have traits from both cycles. In my case, that's Rooster/Dog, which is quite true.

Even though the Tiger to me seem more on the dot at face value, but the Virgo also adds to it a bit to things behind the scenes and a bit more under the surface than just what is , so yea, its kind of like a blend with the two.

I was born merely 15 minutes before Gemini passes on to the next sign, which I guess makes me a cusp baby. I would say that I am closer to a Gemini, though, and maybe even more a snake...

i am a capricorn ox, both of which would imply i'm super ambitious, serious, and someone who gets things done. i don't really see any of these qualities in myself. i am actually super sensitive, emotional, fickle, and i am hard-pressed to follow a schedule. i'm not particularly ambitious or competitive. however, i am also a scorpio moon and cancer rising, which helps to explain things.

I'm a Capricorn, but my year of birth is really confusing?? I'm a January '99 baby so like if I base it on '99 in general, I'm year of the rabbit, but if I base it on the fact that it comes before Chinese New year, then technically I'm year of the tiger.

Capi Monkey. Astrology's sort of a hobby of mine, so while some aspects of a typical capricorn description fit me and some don't, I've found the overall description of my natal chart fairly accurate overall. Just for fun of course. ; )

I don't know very much about the Chinese zodiac though. I guess monkey fits me alright?

Taurus and Dragon.
I'm actually the least romantic person I can think of (I avoid dating and such like the plague) but yeah, the loyal friend part is true. My friends usually come to me when they need help or advice.
Now, for the dragon part. That's pretty accurate. I'm usually smol and ready to fight, but I'm actually a super nice person (if you're nice to me that is). I've also heard that both signs are extremely creative which is funny given that I plan on majoring in animation.

Mimi: We're Aries/Snake, but astrology and plurality is kind of weird. Honestly though Aries fits most of us, we're extremely outspoken about plurality more than what most other systems would consider safe and we're pretty loud about a lot of things. Ngl me popping in here all "heh, we" is probably a good example of that. A good amount of us are also short tempered and it's really easy to get us going but we've been trying to stop having such a short fuse.

Snake seems like the opposite of Aries though but I guess I could see that too. "Self reliant" well if plurality counts of that lol. Though we're just about the least seductive/charming person you'll meet

i'm an aquarius and a tiger. i think i fit the aquarius stereotypes pretty well, being pretty eccentric and aloof, and also honest (sometimes to a fault). i'm constantly in my own head and thinking about something, whether it's serious or silly.
as for tiger, the first and third sentences of that description fit me pretty well, but that middle bit about being courageous and aggressive is not me at all haha
