I hope this is the right forum, but my question is mostly about B/W 2.

I read that B/W 2 is a continuation of the story, and has some new areas... but is there any difference in gameplay? With (nearly) all the same Pokemon, that sounds a lot like starting over again. So if you've played both, what made B/W 2 worthwhile to you?

Comparing to black and white, there ins't much of a different to black 2 and white 2. The only real gameplay differences is you start off in a new area (the bottom left) and work your way up that way. The story focuses on Kyurem more than Zekrom/Reshiram, though..

You start off with being able to catch 300 in the Regional Dex straight off the bat without the need of transferring Pokémon from other regions. Post-game you can catch a few of the legends such as the Pixies, Cresselia, Heatran etc.

There's just really a few different gym leaders, few new areas and I guess the Egg Charm and the Shining Charm and Therian Formes (but you need the Dream Radar for that)

Other than that there isn't really much of a difference to Black and White.. I'm sure there's a few things I missed off but yeah.
