OU Sandstorm Team.
Teehee! Hiyas! Welcome to my sandbox! Want to join me? Just watch out for my toys! Teehee! Mett (Metagross) @ Life Orb Trait: Clear Body EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature - Toxic - Explosion - Stealth Rock - Meteor Mash New set I'm trying out, courtesy of The Risin Salamence Jaxx (Gliscor) (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Sand Veil EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spd Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk) - Earthquake - Toxic - Roost - Taunt A very strange set, in my opinion. Toxic to slowly sweep, Taut for stupid Blisseys and their Refreshing. EQ for a powerful STAB attack. Roost for Sweepers annoying him. Deal (Flygon) (M) @ Persim Berry Trait: Levitate EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Outrage - U-turn - Earthquake - Stone Edge Ah, Flygon, useful in almost anything. Persim Berry was for Uproar Confusing. EQ and SE for powerful STAB ad nonSTAB moves. U-turn to get me out in tight situations. AKA, Starmie, Ice types. Leppend (Cacturne) (M) @ Big Root Trait: Sand Veil EVs: 252 HP / 252 Spd / 4 SAtk Lax Nature (+Def, -SDef) - Toxic - Giga Drain - GrassWhistle - Leech Seed I know this set is pretty much terrible. Why can't Cacture learn Mean look? *cries* But really, Sandstorm, Leech Seed and Giga Drain, along with GrassWhistle, just laughes i pretty much all OU Pokemon's faces. Exept for the rare Isomniacs in OU. Mezzain (Tyranitar) (M) @ Earth Plate Trait: Sand Stream EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Earthquake - Stone Edge - Crunch - ThunderPunch Yes, Tyranitar, my SandStreamer. Comes in after Metagross to weaken or kill a couple of Pokemon so my others can have less hard time. TPunch seems random, no? I have a huge problem with Gyrados. TPuch is either 1 or 2HKO. Depends on the set. Raiden (Regirock) @ Lum Berry Trait: Clear Body EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd) - Curse - Earthquake - SuperPower - Ice Punch Gasp! Regirock! Yes, Regirock. Cursing itself to raise ATK and DEF then sweep. Also gets helped with Sandstorm. Lum Berry for Sleeping protection. All critique accepted. Now... how'd that get there? Cacturne doesn't work in OU. Use a Roserade.
Roserade @ Leftovers 252 Speed 252 Special Attack 4 HP Leaf Storm Substitute Leech Seed Sleep Powder SubSeeder. Use BEFORE T-Tar for no Sandstorm damage. |

But if it comes before TTar, a sweeper would have a lot simpler time sweeping. Think Sub Sweep.

I think Cacturne should just be scrapped for something that can Whirlwind/Roar. Think Skarmory or Swampert. Skarmory would be great if you could get a Rapid Spin absorber. Spikes, Stealth Rock, and Sandstorm damage along with Whirlwind would be pretty bad for your opponent.

Well, Black Ice, I actually didn't think of some thing like
Whirlwind isn't like Roar, and always can go first, correct? Skarmorry Occa berry Whirlwind ----- ----- ----- 252 Spe 252 HP 4 Def or Spe Def. |

Shouldn't Regirock have Superpower instead of Fire Punch? I mean there's no added effect except lowering Regi's ATK and DEF, but it has more power to it. Plus, you have nothing against those sturdy Dark types like Umbreon. Ice punch was a good choice since it gets rid of grass and flying types. Another reason to switch out Fire punch for Superpower is because Blissey's are normal type, so Curse + Superpower might be a good choice.
Your Metagross is kinda bad...you should get an adamant one with the almost the same moveset and same EV's and Life orb. Well, except for trick, since he won't live long enough for it, and your team will be massively affected on their speed. Gliscor will be very slow compared to your opponent's Pokemon. So put in Toxic just to annoy your opponent. Switch the sucky Chesto for Lum if you can. A Phazer would really help. Get rid of Cacturne. Put in Skarmory.
Skarmory@Leftovers 252 Speed 252 Special Defense 4 HP Whirlwind Spikes Roost Stealth Rock After setting up Entry Hazards you can use Spikes+SR damage+Sandstorm damage = blown mind. |

Very good. I knew I was missing SOMETHING. XD Timid works extremely well on Skarm. You set up SR, Spikes, and Whirlwind away, and Roost when needed. I came back from a potential 6-0 that way. And won.

I would reccomend Bullet Punch instead of Toxic on Metagross too. You need to take full advantage of his attack.

Skarmory without an attack is just asking for it.

I forgot about SR. Meta already has it. XD Put in Brave Bird. STAB + Bulk and Roost. Deadly.
