GTS+ Forum Rules still apply to this section. The RP Moderators are here to not only grade RPs, but to make sure that spammers and advertisers stay out. Any posts that break severe rules will be automatically deleted, and warns will be issued. Spam posts will also be deleted, although the severity of the warn can vary depending on how severe the posts were.

Take your time when creating posts. If you feel that the group you are RPing with is going too fast for you to keep up with, you can kindly ask them to slow down a bit. Or, you can attempt to find another group that is going at a pace that you prefer.

Do not godmod. This means that you give your Pokemon ridiculously-overpowered attacks that they can't even learn yet, or you decide that a wild Lugia is flying around and you catch it with only a single Pokeball. These things can annoy the general audience of RPers, so it is best to avoid it.

Do not feel that you have to win every single battle/mission. Know when the odds are against you, and post accordingly. If you're fighting 10,000 Magma Elites at once, there is no way that you are going to come out as the victor. Even when the odds do not seem like they are against you, you can still lose. Try to avoid giving your character "God Mode".

Launching a siege against Team Aqua, Team Magma, or the Rebellion's main HQs is not allowed right from the beginning. These places have been described as being heavily fortified for Magma and Aqua, while the Rebellion keeps theirs very secret.

Do not jump in right away knowing where every Magma, Aqua, and Rebellion operative and facility is. Sure, some citizens may or may not have had experience with these facilities in the past, but people who are fresh off the boat from Johto to serve Aqua will not know where the Rebels are hiding.

If you need help, refer to the Uprising RP School topics. Do not feel that these are too lengthy for you to read. It is recommended that you focus on reading things that pertain to your selected faction. If something isn't covered, you can post a topic in the Uprising RP School section for help.

Take breaks when you feel it is necessary. If your mind isn't cranking out new ideas for posts, try doing other things to gain inspiration.

Respect other RPers. If someone is falling behind, or they plan on going solo when your group had previously planned a group activity, just politely PM them. Do not just flat-out spam or troll their inbox. Even if they are a total newbie to RPing, that does not give you a licence to act like the superior around them. Most likely you were in their shoes when you started off.

Use proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation. You can take your time while making RP posts, so be sure to run that spell-checker. Firefox has one built in, which several people use. Not everyone is perfect, so don't feel that using spell-checker is degrading.

If you need to plan things out, talk with your group members. You can post in the Uprising Discussion if you need to create a sign-up topic, or if you need to make a topic dedicated to your group plans.

Last but not least, have fun. If you don't like RPing, then don't feel pressured to join. You should enjoy writing every post in Uprising, as you go on bold adventures with groups of people, or on your own. If you aren't having fun in the group you are in, join another one that you think will be an enjoyable experience.
