Hello, everyone! Valentine's Day is approaching (in just a couple hours)! We hope you all have a wonderful day, whether you celebrate Valentine's or not. It's also the 13th anniversary of GPX opening to the public! The site is officially a teenager. We present you with a repeat of last year's event which will last 15 days! It will run from the 14th until the 28th of February at reset. (Feb 13th 11:55pm ET -> Feb 28th 11:55pm ET) The Valentine's Day candies will be back, replacing the regular berries until the event ends. We are using our Coins system again, not the Heart Mail from last year. If you had any leftover Coins from last event in December, your total will be reset to 0 when the event begins, as per usual. The Event Shop will remain open throughout the month of March. When the event begins at the designated time, the following red themed Pokémon might hatch with a Coin:
Prizes range from 10 Coins to a top prize of 600 Coins (plus up to 10 Repel at 1 Coin to help you use up any remaining balance before the shop closes at the end of March). We hope you'll have lots of fun with this event! -------------------- |

If we still have Heart Mail left over that we can't spend will they be reset/removed as well or will something like the Repels be added to the Heart Mail prize list so we can get rid of any singles left over?

What an interesting variety of pokemon! I really like when there's lot of different options.
Top prize being 600 coins is interesting, look forward to what it will be! -------------------- |

Hope everyone gets something they want out of this event! I will be taking the opportunity to get some unpopular shiny hunts in while there's breeding stock. And hopefully you all do not feel as old as I do knowing that you have been on this site for (almost) 13 years.

Lots of low-mat options this time, which is awesome. Wonder if there won't be a Sh. Legend voucher as a result, tho. We'll see! o:

Hmm... Still three Sh. vouchers for reduced coins but coins will require a bit more effort without any 2k eggs unless my reading missed one?
I like that the adjusted set of items offers different set of playing options for players... and seems like a good match for my interests/time at the moment. ETA: Happy anniversary and thank you for the event. Regards, -TM This post has been edited by ThunderMoss: Feb 14 2022, 12:07 AM -------------------- * * * |

Oh, yay! An anniversary event! Hopefully I'll have a bit more motivation for it than previous events, but it's glad to see the celebrations still coming in some way! To think, I began on the site just before the first anniversary... how time flew by since then.
Hope everyone is able to get the vouchers and items that they strive for, and everyone has a fun time hunting these red 'mons. It looks like a fun variety of Pokémon to be hatching for it! -------------------- |

Will Scavenger Hunt tasks award Coins as they often have in the past?

Will Scavenger Hunt tasks award Coins as they often have in the past? I remember this being true for the Dec. dreidel event but not any of the others -- but my sleep isn't being entirely effective so we will just see real soon. It would surely help to reach our goals though! Regards, -TM -------------------- * * * |

Why does the site lag so much? I have been trying to play the event, but it's a lost cause when I have to wait 12+ seconds after clicking something for it to even register. Sometimes it works fine, but this lag is something that seems to happen every day.

Oooh, it looks like I'm going to be right down to the wire for the coins I need to earn to grab everything I want from the shop; earning coins for completing scavenger hunts tasks would have helped cushion it a bit, but no sense fussing over what could have been. Here's to hoping we have a multiplier for the final day (or we retroactively get coins for each task we successfully completed), otherwise it's going to be an uphill struggle to hatch eggs.
