I'm not referring to any particular part of the franchise in the question, as I mean in general.

I'd say my favourite character is Silver from Pokespe as well as the games, because my first game was one of the Johto remakes and I also really like his character arc and design in both sources.
I guess 300+ hours on SoulSilver probably contributed largely to my fondness for him, so that's probably worth mentioning.

Mei/Rosa from Pokémon bw

Why? Because I like her art design and the fact that she used to be a member of team plasma which is also my favourite team other than that I also really love N and is one of the only reasons why I watched black and white (plus he can talk to Pokémon) a ability I would love to have

Lillie is a really important character to me. Her whole situation reminds me of my own childhood in a lot of ways. I grew up thinking what I was going through was normal and not really "wrong" despite being hurtful, and Pokemon was my main source of escapism. So aside from her character development being cathartic for me personally, I hope kids growing up now with similar problems can find hope and empowerment from her story.

I really liked Lysandre. I almost wished I could be a member of Team Flare as I loved his personal conviction about his beliefs. He's one of the more interesting evil bosses in the whole franchise.

I know it's a very cliche answer, but I really like Red, specifically from the games. I like that he's actually mute and not just silent onlywhen he's a protagonist. Yet he still very clearly has a personality that you can infer from his actions and the way people talk about him / to him.

I got attached to both Giovanni and Archie over the years because, for better or for worse, they remind me of my own flaws in their various iterations.

Also, the main Team Rocket gang [Jessie, James, Meowth] will always have a spot in my heart. Misty and Brock too!

The most interesting character I've seen, combining both great light and dark within his story and personality (mainly to how he was kept isolated and saw so much wrong in human-pokemon interactions, inevitable when the world is so centered around pokemon fights and contests).

Plus the hot fanart floating around...

My favorite character is Nebby since it is so flipping cute. (I know that Nebby isn't a human but it just said your favorite Pokémon character)

I have to say Lyra is my favourite Pokémon character, although she doesn't exactly have the biggest role in the series, she holds a special place in my heart for being the main character in my favourite Pokémon game, HeartGold!

I own a lanyard with designs of all the Pokémon trainers on, including Lyra herself!

Ooo tough question. There's so many characters in the anime that I always wished we could get an update on; if they accomplished their dreams, how much they've learned etc... but I'd probably have to say my fav is from the games, being Hugh from b2/w2
He's an interesting character- prickly, but with good intentions. His goal just felt very unique and new.
