I currently have a female Blissey (level 6) and a male Togetic (level 18) sitting in the Daycare together. They are of opposite gender and belong to a common egg group (Fairy).

However, the message that comes up is "The two Pokémon are not interested in each other in the slightest."

Could someone please explain the reasoning behind this? ^^" Is their level difference too wide, or what? Because I thought the least I'd get was them hating on each other very badly, since they seem to fulfill all the other qualifications for producing eggs.

I was so looking forward to flooding the Shelter with Happiny/Togetic eggs, too. :c

I'm pretty sure it has to do with their levels. Six 12 levels is a pretty big jump *nods*

That's 12 levels not 6.

Yea , i agree. Try putting the Blissey in your party and level it to the same level as the Togetic.

Gah. Really, seriously, I need to stop posting at 7am after walking the dog.. xD;

But yeah, levels, everyone forgets what a big role they play. And depending on the pokemon.. even 3 levels can hurt a pair (at least for me)

Their likeness probably would've gone up to at least let them breed if you had let them in there for a day together. If you really wanted them to breed, should've put the lower leveled one in your Party and raised it up. :s
