I kinda have two questions concerning how we develop our characters. The first thing I noticed was that people tend to put their character's starter pokemon as well. Makes sense, but is it alright to edit it even after it's approved. Pokemon and humans alike change after all (especially the Pokemon). And what if you wanted to add other Pokemon besides the character's starters as time goes by? Not every single one, obviously, but perhaps their party Pokemon?

Another thing I noticed had to do with the actual starter Pokemon. The starters have to come from the list, that's fine. I get it. But would it be ok if the character's second or third or fourth Pokemon be something off the list. Not anything rare or legendary, but maybe something smaller like stunky.

Dumb questions, I know, but I want to make sure.
