-About-
This is the third Malachite Mages group created! My goal is to revive the Malachite spirit, create a place where fellow Malachites can discuss their achievements and chat with one another, and make us a force to be reckoned with in the Site Wide Shiny Hunts!

In the group thread you may participate in group events, post your shinies*, talk about your achievements, goals and trinkets or just general talk with your fellow Malachites!
(*please read rules)

-Site Wide Shiny Hunts-
Site Wide Shiny Hunts (http://gpx.plus/help/swsh) are run every second month on the site. The aim is to hatch as many of the decided upon shiny Pokemon as you can! Every person that hatches a shiny receives prize points and a special prize, and the affinity that collectively hatches the most shinies gets bonus prize points!

Our main group focus will be to win the Site Wide Shiny Hunts! While trying to hatch the most shinies as an affinity, we'll also have group a competition for members who hatch the most shinies. See the 'SWSH Info' spoiler below for more details.

Next SWSH: November

-Group Events-
In the months where there is no SWSH, we will run group events! Group events will run on a rotational system which will include a Group Wide Shiny Hunt (GWSH), Dress Up Contest and an Art Contest. See the spoilers below for detailed information on each of the events.

If anyone has any suggestions for other group events we can do, you are more than welcome to share them!

-Trinkets-
I would like to encourage Trinket trading among members! In the 'Trinket Trading' spoiler I'll keep a list of members who are aiming to have a complete trinket collection and those who are collecting particular trinkets. Feel free to discuss and organise trinket trading here! You can also let me know if you change any of your trinket preferences and I will change/add/remove you from the trinket list.

-Group Banners-
Everyone is more than welcome to make some Malachite Mages signature banners! Feel free to post them in the group and I'll add them to the Banners spoiler below.

-Malachite IRC-
We have an IRC channel set up for Malachite members to chat with each other! Simply click on the following link, enter a nickname, and away you go!

-Joining Requirements-
- you must be of Malachite affinity
- you must have unlocked the Newbie Clicker, Hatcher and Breeder achievements

-Rules-
- follow the forum rules at all times; this means no flaming, spamming, click begging and double posting
- be respectful and encouraging of other members
- also be respectful of the other affinities; trash talking is fine, but make sure all competition is in good spirit
- if you are posting a shiny in the group that is not for a SWSH or GWSH, please add some content to your post; I don't want this group to become a shiny dumping ground
- anyone caught repeatedly breaking the above rules will be reported
- please don't post in the thread until I have accepted you as a member: the joining application must be PMd to me
- let me know if you change your username so I can keep the member list up to date
- you are more than welcome to message me, no questions asked, if you want to leave the group

I also noticed that only green shinies can be posted here. I only have one, this lucky shelter-grabbed Druddigon. It's called Losing My... as a reference to the REM song.

Haha this is the month where the Malachites come back from the dead and win the SWSH! But thank you for the welcome, Cycloneblaze. I'd also like to thank Shaoo, Hiraelle and Gryphaena, leaders of the Azurite Knights, Wulfenite Warriors and Networking Ninjas respectively for their warm welcomes and words of encouragement We are affiliates with these three groups, be sure to check them out!

I noticed that one of the old Malachite Mages groups had a link to a list of green shinies. The link was broken though, so I might recreate that list at some point so Malachite members have something to go by if they want to hunt some green shinies.

We have the early lead in the SWSH! I've just updated the first post with the current affinity standings and the best Malachite shiny hatchers thus far. I'll update the stats there once or twice a day so everyone can see how we're fairing in the SWSH Good luck everyone!!

I've been working on my buizel hunt... and I've released more pokemon this month than I released in all the other months I've been on GPX+ ever. Yeah, I try to keep releasing to a minimum. And thanks for the welcome to a long-time member of this site!

EDIT: Also, if any members of the group have the fractured soul dew trinket, I want it. I made it, so I have always wanted a copy of it. It's sad that it got assigned to the two lesser other affinities.

The SWSH is over! Congrats to everyone who hatched a shiny The Wulfenites proved too strong this month, taking out first place, but we finished second which is a good effort

I was thinking for a potential group shiny hunt this month, that it could be for a fire type, considering a number of us would be hatching a bunch of fires for the dreidel event. You don't have to have it in your shine recorder, just if you hatch any shiny fire type, post it here, and who ever hatches the most wins! Is anyone interested in this? I'd like to start the hunt in the next couple of days if anyone wants to participate

Of course you can! I've been wanting some new banners and haven't had a chance to make many myself. If you post them here after you make them, I'll add them to the main post for everyone to use

A couple of people have shown interest in a group shiny hunt, so I'll go ahead and start it. It will start as of reset tomorrow. So if you hatch any fire type shiny from the 14th to the 31st of December (inclusive), post it here and I will add it to your tally! It does not have to be entered into your shine recorder, so you have to make sure to post the shiny here if you're participating, otherwise I won't know I'm not sure many people will participate, so I'll just give a Sky Gift prize to the first place person.

I'll add all this info to the main post as well, and feel free to ask if you have any questions

Grats on the shiny! I can also give good shiny news too XD I got a shiny numel! So I'm happy. Only 16 eggs as well. That's the whole Numel family got! And I only need 1 more flame shard to get the plate!

I'm also only 2 shinies away from completing my Bug Bonanza!...aside from Megas XD I don't have the stones for Pinsir, Heracross or Scizor yet but I'm hunting them now anyway for the future. I'm so excited!

Also for the GWSH I just hatched a fire type shiny, Numel, was a recorded race against another user that I won and it took 249 eggs. Hope it's okay to post it since I wasn't in the group before it started, also I double checked and it didn't say under the info spoiler if I had to say first I wanted to participate first before posting it nor if it had to be a pure fire type, so again sorry if I shouldn't of posted this.

Congrats on the shiny numel, Kaitou Kid! As long as it's part fire type and you hatched it after the start of the GWSH, it's all good! Doesn't matter if you've only just joined the group. There wasn't any GWSH sign up either, it's just post your fire shiny here if you hatch one, so you're not doing anything wrong

First to any that celebrate it happy vary late holidays. For the GWSH just hatched another fire type shiny, a Charmander, was also another recorded race against another user that took 160 eggs. The other user is at 105 eggs and no shny so don't know who will win yet. Unrelated, but also cant wait for the new year exchange, plan to send a Sh. Typhlosion, hope to get a fire shiny I don't have yet since it's my favorite type.

Congrats on the shiny Charizard, Kaitou Kid! I like his name So far you're leading the GWSH with 2 shinies I'm still trying to find a shiny Tepig, but I haven't been able to find many in the Shelter. I think I might change and hunt Torchic or Slugma instead in a last ditch effort to get a shiny.

Welcome to the group watchingmidnight, and congrats on the sh. Numel. Guess who got another fire shiny for the GWSH? This person ^-^! It's a Fennekin, cant wait to use a snowball on her, also yet again was also another recorded race against another user that took 482 eggs, and the other user is at 21 eggs and hasn't been on since the 10th so in a week I will probably auto-win. I don't know why, but races seem to go faster then hunts. Now to try for Litwick and Torkoal since I seem to be on "fire" this month....get it? Yes, I know, was lame joke. ^^' lol

I wish I knew about the GWSH...I would've participated! (I actually hatched my Shiny Audino and Shiny Gastly in the time period that the GWSH took place!)

I'm actually not happy that I got that Audino. The hunt took 973 eggs, and I wanted to tackle the >1000 egg hunt achievement. Guess I just have to keep waiting...

You need some of my luck. (Just hatched ANOTHER shiny. Both of my last hunts were under 100 eggs. Probably means I'm in for bad luck during the SWSH though, bleck).

I've been getting shinies left and right and at the point that I'm not even sure what i want to vote for. I suppose I only need two more pixie shards so I'll be hoping for at least one fairy-type.
For me, I only get SWSH eggs at two times: either right at the beginning or right at the end. I'm expecting for the upcoming one, that I'll get the shiny I need on the last day or two of the SWSH.

I've finally ended my shinyless streak! I hatched a Shiny Buziel, which was leftover from the November SWSH ^^" 543 eggs it took.

I think my SWSH luck is similar to yours, watchingmidnight...I hatch shinies in the first couple of days, or the last couple, or two months after the hunt finishes haha.

For the last few SWSHs the site seems to go crazy over Honey+ :P Hopefully this hunt will be no different.

There still isn't any voting for the SWSH...maybe this hunt is going to have pre-decided Pokemon? I'm curious now

looks like they went with a theme for this SWSH. the choices being Staryu, Cleffa, and Lunatone. I got a shiny Lunaatone for the New Year's Exchange so I think I'm gonna hunt Staryu.

I can usually see the theme in the Admin-choose SWSH choices, but I'm really failing at seeing the theme for this one? I mean, I guessss Staryu and Lunatone I can kind of see star/moon. But Cleffa?

However, my first (and hopefully not only) hunt will be for Cleffa to get another Pixie Shard.

I like these themed SWSHs! I'm going to start off with Staryu, then Lunatone. I already have a Shiny Clefable, so if I finish the other two, then I'll go for it again for my long term living shiny dex goal :P I've also just added the link to the SWSH page to the top of the group's main post

A quick question, (I'll add this to the group joining form later), but if anyone has another name they wish to be called in the forums i.e. a shortened version of your username, let me know or post here You guys are welcome to call me Eevee not that dropping the 64 makes much difference haha

already got shiny Staryu..... took bout 5 hours and two eggs. that's one of the quickest times I've gotten the shiny for the SWSH. decided to move on to look for a shiny Cleffa.

@iuppiter Congrats on the shiny Sewaddle! Cleffas are easy to hatch, especially with the SWSH multipliers...shouldn't be too hard to get another shiny if you wanted to do another hunt :P I filled up all my PC on Sunday with a heap of fail Cleffas I couldn't release...not fun xD

There's a 3.2 multiplier for the day atm.

There are also 10 more days for the SWSH.

Malachites are only about 13 entries behind the currently leading affinity, Wulfenite. I think we have a fairly good chance of rising.

Loving the big multipliers! It's getting pretty crazy with the large multipliers and the low maturity Cleffa eggs xD With both the Honey+ active, plus the standard SWSH weekend multipliers, and maybe even a pass counter multiplier, be expecting another couple of large multipliers over the next couple of days!

We've been pretty constantly around that 12/13 shiny mark behind the Wulfenites. Hopefully we can make that up! Still plenty of time

I hatched 200 Cleffa eggs just today and no shiny. I have no more space for Cleffas today so... I really should have bought 4 more PC boxes when they were available. DANG IT.

Annnnddd... We are 1 shiny less than Wulfenites, so... GO TEAM, GO!

Also, what is the shiny ratio for everyone here? I have the slight impression that I just have really bad luck hunting shinies in general.

Mine is 1 shiny per 422 eggs hatched.

I'm at 1 shiny per 157 eggs hatched right now. From what I've seen other people say, I'd be considered on the lucky side, while you have hatched fewer than normal. Good luck in your future hunts!

Oh wow.
I finished my Lunatone hunt.
I was totally not expecting that.
I mean, Lunatone at 151 eggs is so fast for me, if I check the other hunts: (365 for Staryu, 630 for Cleffa).
I am so EXCITED! I mean, I got the 3 shinies of the SWSH and that's a first for me, if I recall correctly.

I still want to have 2 more Cleffas and 1 more Staryu so I can complete their Living Shiny Dex, but I think that I'll hunt them other time.
Right now I'll continue with other hunts that I already had, just to clear some space.

I'm also proud to say that I managed to get all the sprites for them (well, without the 4 extra sprites that Clefairy and Clefable have, but I'll get them). I'm just waiting to evolve them in a day. Hopefully getting Darwinist in the process (3 boxes full of Pokemon that can evolve 2 times. Which means, 72 pokemon that evolves 2 times each, then I would get 144 at the end, so I think I can do it... I fmy math isn't horrible wrong).

Overall a pretty satisfactory hunt for me.

Good luck with your hunt! I feel you as well, I hatched some Geodude eggs here and there while hunting for Cleffa and I got a shiny of the former. I say don't quit, though! Whenever you're feeling down during a shiny hunt, just remember that there was a user who persevered through 3,000 eggs to hatch a shiny.

I try to have a shiny for a day and then I stop hunting because I'm afraid I could hatch a shiny and not getting the shard...

Fortunately, I already have 2 plates: Psychic and Fairy so hopefully , I'll begin hunting for more shinies that are pure type. That way, I wouldn't be scared to miss a shard. Teehee.

Yuniko, I'm so sorry for your fruitless atempt. I seriously hope that at least you can finish that hunt in this month.

Also, I was planning on staying away from Cleffas but... NOPE. With the coins system back, I'll be hunting for those 2 pesky shinies.

Last but not least, in this month I'll finally be able to complete that achievement where you need to do every exploration at least once. And in the way of doing that, I'll get another Diancie. For its Mega form.

What explorations will all of you do?

Antone else thinks that the new achievements will be released this month? I seriously have that suspicion... I hope one of the achievements will be to hatxh 2 shinies in a same batch of eggs.
I don't know if it'll be possible to have a script that records when that happens (or happened) but if they add something like that in the future, I'm really proud to say that I hatched 2 shiny Furfrous in a batch... In a SWSH.
I really doubt one could put a script for that achievement, but it'll be crazy if people actually unlocked that.

Welcome to the new month!! On the 18th it'll be my first GPX anniversary. I think I've gotten really far for one year.

I was planning on starting a Shellos [East] hunt now that SWSH is done, but then the anniversary means I won't be starting that. So I was like "Hey, Shellos [West] has pink and white for it's sprite colors so it must be either of those in the pokedex." Turns out Shellos [West] is purple. Sooo, for now I'm hatching some Goldeen and some Rotom.

In terms of this month's explorations, I'll be doing Zekrom/Reshiram exploration (after which I only need one more to have done every exploration once). Not sure about the second one - perhaps the bird trio.

Edit: Also, since we're talking about releasing pokemon. I've got a little over two boxes of the novelty oddish, almost all at lvl 100 and full happiness. Once I get them all to lvl 100, I'll be releasing them, so if you're interested, I can coordinate the release timing.

Righto! That's the end of January's cosmic SWSH! Congrats to everyone who hatched shinies, and I hope you're all enjoying your Lunar Larvitars Wulfenites won again, sigh, though we were only 14 shinies behind them in second place. We hatched 49 shinies as a group, which I think is a great effort! On to our winners~

Taking out first place is Spyessa with a huge 13 shinies, which is also the highest number of shinies hatched this SWSH over the whole site! Congrats! In second place is Kaitou Kid with 9 shinies, and in third, Forceman with 7. Well done to each one of you!
I'll award 3 Sky Gifts to first place, 2 to second, and 1 to third. Feel free to give me temporary add to your palpads so I can gift the Sky Gifts to you
To change things up a bit, as another option you can swap one of your Sky Gifts for a novelty drop, so first place could get 2 Sky Gifts and a novelty, second 1 Sky Gift and a novelty, and third either a Sky Gift or a novelty. Let me know if you want the novelty option, otherwise I'll just give you Sky Gifts

Later this week I'll start up a GWSH to go with the site's 7th anniversary coin event. So it'll basically be hatch any red, pink or white Pokemon's shiny, but I'll post more about that later.

Nope, they don't have to be recorded in your shine recorder. If you hatch a red/pink/white Pokemon's shiny, and then post the shiny here, I'll add it to your GWSH total I'll make a post in the next day or two explaing the rules in more detail, and include a start date

For the GWSH, is it obligatory to post the shiny Pokemon here? Sorry, it's just that I don't actually want to have Unique Views or Views... It's kind of lame for me to say that, I was just wondering if there was some way around that rule? I mean, that way I could participate in the GWSH...

I mean, technically, one could unlock the Good Luck achievement with one of those vouchers, don't they?

And I don't know if I should be really excited right now that I just have to find another shiny Cleffa and I would have all the Living Shiny Dex entry for that Pokemon, or I should feel bad because I wouldn't have any excuse to hunt for'em and get coins faster...

I just got back to school today and... I really don't know why I'm still here in the site when its WAAY past my sleep hours (that is if I truly intend to pay attention to my classes... ).

@Rookie Roo, nah the GWSH hasn't started yet I'll post information about it in the second half of this post.

I have 43 coins at the moment. I started shiny hunts for a few red/pink/white Pokemon I wanted to hunt, so I'm just focussing on them for the time being. I have two more days of work, then I have pretty much the rest of the month off before I move back up to uni again. So hopefully plenty of time for me to hatch some shinies, and maybe even do another Death of the World run

GWSH info!

- will start on Friday the 5th and end Monday the 29th at midnight, server time
- running with the same theme as the GPXplus anniversary event, the goal will be to hatch as many pink, red or white Pokemon's shinies as possible!
- this means that the dex colour entry of your Pokemon has to be pink, red or white NOT the shiny Pokemon has to look pink, red or white
- it is entirely optional whether you want to participate
- the Pokemon does not have to be recorded in your shine recorder, any random pink, red or white Pokemon's shiny you hatch within the time period is acceptable
- you must post the shiny here in the group, or a link to the shiny, if you are participating in the hunt and want me to add it to your tally
- there is no sign up for the hunt, just start posting your shinies!
- the user/s at the end of the hunt who've hatched the most shinies will receive a Sky Gift prize from me (number of Sky Gifts given, and second and third place prizes will be determined after the hunt, based on participation and number of shinies hatched)

Also, I was able to get a Shiny Cleffa the last day of SWSH! I've had a total of 5 Shiny Cleffa by now, I think. It's my lucky shiny. In fact, I just hatched one earlier today when I was hatching for coins. Too bad we couldn't take the lead at all. ;_;

It's sad...even with Honey+ activated it still barely finds any eggs I'm shiny hunting I'm breeding Rufflet and Fletchling eggs at the moment, and the ones I don't claim from the Daycare are getting grabbed pretty quick as soon as they hit the Shelter.

I haven't really been paying much attention to the events going on here... hatching red, pink, and white Pokémon, is it? None of the ones I'm currently hunting for right now fit the bill, but I guess I'll just grab some random eggs when I can't find my eggs in the shelter. I'm hunting for Cleffa, Flabebe White and Magikarp... But those 2 spaces were the only ones I had left. I'm also hunting for more Cherubis and Furfrous (which I have already 2 shinies, but I am too bad at the Battle system that I lose really badly and can't seem to get a single comb... *glares at Blue* Anyone has any advice?).

I hope everyone is doing ok.
I don't know if I already said it, but I am back to college and I'm DYING. Hopefully, I've been able to earn about 200 coins and I'm at #69, so I really don't want to know how many coins do the #1 has. I mean, just wow.

I also hope to get in my hands a beautiful shiny voucher. Teehee.

Other then that last one been finding them been pretty easy, but Zan has almost 200 users breeding them and Clef almost 100 so my biggest issue is shelter grabs, prematures, and too lazy to click to get more shelter grabs. I have 191 coins tho, so I think I'm doing pretty decent right now.

I've been finding Charmanders in abundance, especially with the help of Honey+, but everything else has been harder to come by. I've been breeding my own Porygons too.

Also, I tend to miss the large amounts of people that get on while I'm asleep so even multiplier days are a bit slow for me.

No more shinies since my Sh. Rotom and my coin # ranking just keeps getting worse. Hopefully good enough to get a shiny voucher, but probably not enough for a shiny legend voucher.

Also, I'm collecting burettes specifically to get the curio collector achievement. (They fall under the general "chemistry" ones I'm collecting). But if anybody has some lying around, my collecting would go much quicker than the current one at a time I can do.

"Elite Clicker" is on my "do at some point in time" list, but my question is, do you give up on proper berry interactions when you go for it?
I've done both DoTW and TBD with all their required clicks, but I get those primarily from egg interactions and that is up to maybeee 15k/day if I use odd incense. If I attempted to do proper berry interactions, there's no way i'd be able to get anywhere near elite clicker.

Thank you! It really is difficult; I actually did some research on how to get the achievement before I actually attempted it, since my daily record before this was only 88k

watchingmidnight, I most definitely threw the idea of proper berry interactions out the window for this. Even though I only properly click Exploration Pokémon on a normal basis, I couldn't afford to do that when trying for this. I got the achievement with maybe an hour left before server reset, and that was with me spamming 1-5 from all users on two laptops

Though I do want to mention that if you mass click a bunch of users, you will still end up getting a lot of propers even from spamming 1-5. I don't know how many times I've been surprised to find my name up on the list of "Most Proper Berry Interactions Today" while also being on the "Most Interactions Today" list as well.

But anyway, this topic here had a lot of helpful tips that I took into consideration before starting the achievement; I didn't follow everything mentioned, since I have a faster connection speed than most so I had some leeway, but it's definitely worth a look for whenever you want to go for Elite Clicker! I haven't done DoTW yet, and I gave up on my first attempt at TBD a while ago, so I guess I have those to look forward to in the future

Haha Elite Clicker probably is more difficult—back then I had made the mistake of starting TBD at the end of the month, so when the new explorations came out I didn't want to bother waiting to finish TBD and just dropped it in favor for the monthly explorations. I should try to clear it again, eventually...

The number keys are definitely faster than clicking on a mouse, that's for sure If you ever do go for it, eevee, I wish you luck!!

But WOW congrats!! Shiny Winter Ninetails is so pretty Looks like all that hatching paid off

Haven't had anymore luck myself. I went to check coin rankings for today, and at 70 coins so far I'm #103 for the day, which is crazy. That means 103 people have already hatched more eggs along with completing the scavenger hunt. I'm mostly hoping they were lazy about clicking to get more shelter picks and once I get over 60+ hatches, I'll quick rise to the top of the pack.

I hit 2500 coins today, yay! But today wasn't too good of a day for hatching. Sitting at #45 for coins today, which is underpar for my normal performance. Tomorrow likely will be similar, little time to click for extra shelter grabs.

The winners! Not surprisingly, in first place is Uzii, who smashed everyone with 17 shinies Second goes to watchingmidnight with 9 shinies, and third to YunikoYokai with 7! I actually didn't get any shears from my cards - or shiny pokechests (did anybody get those this time around??)

I ended at almost 2800 coins, #23, which put me right in place for a shiny voucher. I'm a little disappointed I didn't get all the way to the shiny legendary voucher, but I wasn't expecting that they'd give more than the top 20 one. Now I have to decide what to use it on. (Speaking of which, does anybody know if you can end a shiny hunt with a voucher, or nah? I'm thinking you can't, but just want to check in on that.) Actually, I'm definitely getting a shiny Unknown, since those are pretty hard to get (or Ditto now that I check).

I finished with just over 1.6k. I think I'll use my LV+ to get a Kyurem, since I got quite a few of its stones from the scratch cards. I got a ton of Corruption Orbs and Blue Stones, but no Shears. Legend sniping was fun last night, though, as well as grabbing some Unowns and other stuff from someone's mass drops.

@ watchingmidnight, I heard you can use a shiny voucher for shiny hunts and to get the Good Luck achievement.

For coins got 1,734, so kicking myself for giving up yesterday and working on other shiny hunts instead. Still have my legend voucher from last event so doubt I'll use my new one any time soon either. Scratch cards, a few blue stones and summonables. Also a Reveal Glass needed 1 more of those, hate doing the exploration for it. Actual since I got that glass might use my vouchers to get Thundurus and Landorus to finish the kami trio since I also don't like that exploration either.

I didn't hear about this new novelty Pokemon either—I haven't used up all my Scratch Cards yet (just one so far) so I guess I'll hope that I can see what this new Shears item looks like.

I ended with 3,704 coins at #13... had I known that #12 and above would receive a Shiny Legend Voucher Plus I would've tried harder to hit that goal I think I'll save this Shiny Voucher Plus for a while since I'm not sure what to use it it on yet.

Just found out from the scratch cards...you can get Shears to change a Mareep into a Sheared Mareep, which evolves into a Woolly Ampharos There is also a new 'novelty' Vivillion form, you have to get a Love Flag from the underground ^^


I'm the same :P Still have my Legend Voucher from last event, and I'll probably end up using both to get Landorus and Thundurus's therian forms for my living dex.

The Sheared Mareep sprite looks so sad, I feel bad wanting to use the Shears... does anyone know if the item disappears upon using it?

The new Vivillon form also looks really pretty—makes me wish I had a Shiny Vivillon to use it on Then again, I'm still trying to get all the canon Vivillon forms for the dex

Can't wait to see what the SWSH Pokemon will be this time around!

Yeah, the Shears disappear when you use them. Though someone in the monthly community thread today said they hatched a Mareep that had Shears as a hatch item, so there looks like there is hope in getting more Shears if one needs ^^

But I've finally got my shiny Lunatone! 1,050 eggs. Damn that bloody moon! He's not a dog, but dammit, he's now called Moon Moon for all the trouble I went through! I've managed to clear up my shine recorder quite nicely so far (Lunatone now, Skitty 2 days ago, Cleffa 3 days ago, scatterbug 9 days ago). Also very close to completing my bug Bonaza too. I just need three more bugs and get their mega stones...

Edit - Ah, didn't wuite read Eevee's post. So I can get them from Mareep can I? Well, time to investigate that!

That brings us to the end of another SWSH! After the first week of the hunt it looked like we were going to get smashed, but we comfortably ended up in second place again ^^ damn Wulfs

We had a bunch of winners this month for hatching the most SWSH shinies in the group! There is a three way tie for first place with Kwarkpudding, D E A N and watchingmidnight all hatching 5 shinies each! Congrats Equal second place is Spyessa and Forceman with 4 shinies, and in third is Uzii and myself with 3 shinies! Well done everyone!

Prizes, same drill as normal: 3 Sky Gifts for first, 2 for second and 1 for third, and temporarily add me so I can gift them to you Good thing I have a heap of trinkets for Sky Gifting this month hehe

What does everyone want to do this month for a group event?

- Group Wide Shiny Hunt: we can decide on a theme later if we choose this. There's no Hanukkah or Anniversary coin events to tie it in with this time haha

- Dress Up Contest: like the site wide dress up contests we've had in the past. Dress up any Pokemon however you like! To try and keep the entries anonymous, those participating would PM their dressed up Pokemon to me, and then I'll put the dressed up Pokemons' images (not linked) all in a poll for people to vote on.

- Art Contest: like the egg, bauble and kite decorating contests the site has held in the past. Would pretty much be the same process as the dress up contest. We can decide what we'll be decorating/colouring if this option gets chosen.

Feel free to suggest anything else!

I'll add a poll to the group so everyone can vote on what they'd like to do

I was thinking along similar lines for the GWSH. I was thinking of Pokemon like Buneary, Bunnelby, Exeggcute, Spring/Autumn Deerling (it's Autumn here :P), but I think more people would participate if it was more generic. So I like the idea of a Grass and Normal types for Spring and Easter, and then Water as something more Autumn :P

Does anyone have any objections to a Grass/Normal/Water GWSH, or have any more suggestions? I'd like to start the hunt in the next couple of days to give everyone plenty of shiny hunting time ^^

Okay! The Group Wide Shiny Hunt will start at reset today (the 12th) and run until the end of the month. The theme is to hatch as many Grass, Normal or Water typed shinies as you can!

Remember to post your shinies, or a link to your shiny, here in the group if you want me to count it You also don't have to have it recorded in your Shine Recorder, as long as it's Grass, Normal or Water type (dual typings are fine) and hatched within the time period. The full info on our GWSHs is now at the top of the main post, for any new members to read ^^

Got a cute Shiny Sentret for the GWSH. I don't expect to do too well this time around as I'm pretty busy and not spending too much GPX time though.

Apparently, I managed to hatch a Shiny Litleo (and I still have to find a male Shiny one, but oh well) and noticed that it has the Normal type.
So I guess that I can enter the hunt, though I don't think I'll be able to find any other one sooner.

I think this one'll be my last shiny for the GWSH—it seems like this month is the time when things are getting busy and hard for everyone. I hope you all manages to make it through successfully!!
