99 cents per pack?, The good old days... |

I remember one store in my area sold packs of Base Set, Jungle, and Fossil (not too sure about Fossil, though) for only 99 cents. I would always go there and get myself a pack or two. I even remember pulling a Mewtwo holo (Base Set) from one of those.
So I want to know two things: 1. Were packs actually 99 cents back a few years ago (like maybe 7 to 9 years ago) or was this just my local store? 2. If they really were that cheap, what are some of your guys' memories from back then? -------------------- |

I think it might've just been your place...I remember them being $2.35 a pack here, but...then again, I was young, and really don't remember that well. o_o;; I stopped buying them once I realized that I could pilfer them off of my friends who no longer wanted them.
Which didn't mean much in the long run...and nowadays they're $4 a pack, now that I actually buy them. -------------------- |
