Well, I've been looking around lately, and it seems everyone has a Cyndaquil egg but I. Of course, Typhlosion is my favorite pokemon, and I'd love a Cyndaquil egg of my own. So, I figured "Hey, why don't I find someone who can breed me one?" Then, that idea turned into this.

As far as I know, you can't just give people eggs. They go to the shelter and you have to pick them up 30 minutes after they're bred.... before everyone else. I fail to see the usefulness of this thread.

Reflexes? You have an unspecified chance of getting it anyway. You don't know when the egg will appear in the shelter, and we have a bunch of what Wymsy classifies as "Egg noobs" constantly refreshing the shelter in search of

Yes, you can't give eggs to anyone by trade of course, but the real point of this thread is to spread out the rares more. In the shelter, you pretty much see nothing but commons most of the time, no? Sure, some rares appear every once in a while, but that's still rare.

No offence but I really don't think this will work. The chance of the person actually getting the egg is so small, and it will just devalue the so called rare Pokemon. I've seen so many Mudkips around the place you'd think they where common. I'm not a big fan of the shelter becuase of this, and I'm certainly not a fan of this idea. Helping people out by letting them know the description of a rare egg is fine. It doesn't devalue them but still helps the person since they'll know what to look out for. But this is just silly. Making rare Pokemon for everyone just defeats the point of them being rare.
