It's a tie between Chikorita and Litten but for different reasons. One is underwhelming and the other is disappointing as a promised Dark / Fire type.

For now, I don't have a least favorite. All starters, from Gen 1 to 7 are good in my opinion, some better than others but good in their own way. Now, that's maybe about to change if the supposed leaks of Gen 8 are true. If they are, Sobble, I'm sorry, I love you, but if your evolutions are *those* abominations, I'm picking you as my absolute hated pokemon. OMG.

Apart from the shiny, I'm not a big fan of the Tepig line for whatever reason. Never really been able to figure out why, I've just always felt resoundingly "meh" towards it. At least that HA is of some use. Also the Froakie line isn't great IMO [maybe I just got sick of seeing Protean Greninja being one of the only things used in online battles back in the X/Y days].
Unsurprisingly, the constant Charizard hyping by GameFreak has made me sick of poor Charmander as well. --------------------  |
