I'm hunting purple. I'm trying to get a male so I can breed two jump karps together.

I actually have a general question... when I visit these forums while I'm logged in to GPX.Plus, it logs me out there. Sometimes when I sign in here and try to log back in there, it doesn't let me. It doesn't give an error message or anything. It just refreshes and doesn't log me in. Does anybody know why this happens? Also, on the above topic - Got my first Moltres today, so I'm pretty happy. This is a known bug and one I'm hoping to finally solve this month. Ah! That is great - thank you! I've had this issue for quite a while, so it's exciting to know it is at least known and being worked on. -------------------- I am a gaming Youtuber by the name of PendragonTheNinja. I figured, which is why I've given up on raiding. I don't think they were ever able to get a group larger than about 10 people at a time. The idea of trying to get 17 of these people together is almost laughable... Not to mention there ended up being a ton of fighting in the group chat...so I just backed out. Guess I don't need legends that badly. There's only 4 people in my neighborhood still playing and I'm one of them XD I gave up on the team part of GO a long time ago We were gonna do something last year but they all backed out and I was the only one who showed up Ever since we haven't bothered to organize something -------------------- |

Is anyone gonna attempt to shiny hunt them? And, do they evolve? Now that I have all 9 colors in my dex, I'm hunting the white one. I saw a shiny someone else hatched, and it's super pretty. It's bluish-white with a gold marking. -------------------- |

Hi everyone! first time posting here! i was dead shocked to see the Zombidofo Egg in my party. Shocked, and very, very, happy. Also, i just unlocked the Scouter for my Pokewalker, and have started a Shiny Eevee Hunt. So far, I have almost a whole box of Eevee but no shiny. Hopefully soon!

Your enthusiasm reminds me of my first time getting an event egg. I was so stoked to get Jirachi, because it was the one I wanted most from that month. -------------------- |

Finally got a male jump karp so I switched my daycare pair so now it's two jump karp. Taking forever for them to breed. Hoping to get the novelty shiny hunt achievement done this year. I've been working on it for quite a few years now. Might check out magikarp jump. Got a busy day ahead of me today. Lots of exhausting driving but at least I got some decent sleep last night for once.

I was ridiculously lucky and my gray karp came out shiny from using the old rod. I'm breeding them right now for others, and I think I'll eventually hunt the rest of the set.

From what I understand with the event eggs... As long as you fit the criteria mentioned, you could randomly get an egg from the list throughout the week, or you might not get one at all? It's just random?

It's just random? There are 200 eggs of each pokemon, 1000 in total. So yeah, you might not receive one at all, despite being a bit improbable mathematically. -------------------- |

What are all these 'jump Karp' that people are talking about? Does it have to do with the game Magikarp Jump? Just wondering, because i saw that someone said they tried to breed a 'jump Karp' and that confused me.

They were the novelty prize from the swsh and three old rods were given to winners. They can be bought in the prize shop til the end of next month. They have quite a few different ones.

Just wondering, because i saw that someone said they tried to breed a 'jump Karp' and that confused me. A new set of novelties was released based on the Magikarp varieties from Magikarp Jump. Each of the color families counts as one dex entry, and the individual patterns are alternate sprites. Here's my set if you wanna see. -------------------- |

It seems like novel power doesn't work with the novelty magikarp. My pair's been in for over an hour and I still can't use it. Can anyone else confirm this? Thanks!

They always breed novelties. Put a pair of orange pattern magikarp in the daycare and I'm planning to do a unnoficial hunt. -------------------- •TRINKET TRADING PLACE•||FC: 4055-4266-5767 POKEMON SHINY HUNTER//XY; ORAS; SUMO; USUM Spoiler (click to show ) |

Sup! I'm back... Again. We moved.... Again. But it was a good move this time. My step-dad got a job working for Tesla at their new gigafactory in Nevada. We stayed at a 5 star hotel for two weeks in Reno! And now we live half an hour outside of Reno. Here's to hoping for no more moves.

GPX and I have differing ideas about the meaning of always. I had a regular Magikarp and a White Magikarp in my daycare and instead of a novelty egg, the first egg they bred was as regular Magikarp.

Unlike the games, gpx lets you breed the species of both parents. How this works is that when eggs are bred, they are considered to be the offspring of one of their parents. When you breed White Magikarp with regular Magikarp, all those regular Magikarp eggs you produce are coming from the regular Magikarp. Meanwhile, I do agree that the word always is misleading. Because won't necessarily always produce novelties.
