Ever feel like there's some sort of karma at the shelter? Like you can't find a specific pokemon when you're looking for it, but when you're looking for something else, it's all over the place? For instance, I can only find male Roggenrollas when I'm looking for another pokemon, yet when I am looking for one, I can only find females/none at all. Same with Ferroseed. Has this ever happened to you before? I'm not asking for help, I want to hear what has happened to other users.

it happens to me with gulpin eggs. when i want to hatch them, trying to get the shiny for pokii's rage, there isn't a single one in the shelter. then when i look for zangoose or ponyta eggs for the shiny hunt/blue stone, gulpin are on almost every page.

Precisely why I'm hunting eight different shinies at once. One species is out? I just choose one of the other seven to stalk for until the one I'm looking for comes back. I was never one to hunt for specific genders unless I'm planning something.

It's really starting to bug me now. I'm hunting Axew (For own pruposes) And I'm kinda side-hunting Archen. When I'm hunting for Axew eggs, I see LOADS of Archen. Yet when I decide to hunt Archen again, I end up finding a ton of Axew eggs. I have to find 3 Phanpy for an Exploration. And guess what, they're nowhere to be found. Not a single hatched one, not even a single egg. And when I was searching for Swablu in Safari Zone, there was an invasion of elephants. FML. Y_Y

Lickitung were EVERYWHERE before I started my hunt. After I started it, none could be found at all. Not even one.
The same thing happened when I decided to IV hunt for some hatched Munchlax. I set out for them specifically because they were so common in the Safari Zone. As soon as I went back there, none appeared. Then, once I decided to stop looking for them and focus on something else, they came back. The most egregious cases occur when I decide to shiny hunt something because I generally won't hunt whatever it is until I see evidence that enough of the egg is spawning in the shelter on a regular basis to keep the hunt from being too drawn out. I'm starting to think this happens on purpose now, with shiny hunts. -------------------- |

On a different level of irony, I released a Shadow Lugia before I stalked the Safari Zone for an Unown that was dropped for me ages ago.
3 refreshes later, I saw a Shadow Lugia. XD |

With my shiny hunt Pokemon, all the time. xD If I want a party full of Venonat, I'll only be able to find Seviper. And while it wouldn't hurt to get Sevipers instead of Venonat, I want Venonat. Stuff like that, especially now, with Ralts.

The same thing happened to me with Kojofus
 I could only find male ones/none at all when searching for them, and after I gave up I found a female one xDI missed a Lv. 100 Feebas once, and I think it was female, too ;~; I got a Fossil Aerodactyl, and I hadn't realized it was Lv. 100 until after I got it

ugh shinx eggs used to be all over the bloody place UNTIL I started to shiny hunt them. No thanks to explorations, it's now even harder than ever. xD
Shandshrew too has become impossible to find now that I'm hunting it. Shroomish granted were rare to begin with. (Guess nobody likes that species enough to breed) The only luck I seem to have is with my shiny pichu hunt. There always seems to be pichu eggs all over the place. --------------------  |
