I'm surprised no-one has started a topic similar to this so thought I'd go ahead and knock one up!
Are you speculating the inclusion of Pokemon based on certain animals/objects/people in Gen 6? For example, we've not seen a dolphin Pokemon yet, nor have we had one based on a camera! Here are some of my ideas: Dolphin Badger Porcupine (although I'm convinced Chespin will evolve into one!) Falcon Goat Salamander Spotted Cat (Cheetah, Jaguar etc) Mirror Carpet Oil Drum But we shouldn't forget that there have been re-hashes of certain creatures, too. For example - the Poliwag, Croagunk and Tympole lines are all based on frogs/toads. What would you like to see/expect to see in Gen 6? -------------------- Darryn Kellor ~ ~ PANE Moderator ~ ~ Lori Pardare PANE Characters (click to show ) LA's Plays (click to show ) Unovalocke (click to show ) |

To be far, Gen 5 had a spotted cat: Liepard. And Sandslash kinda looks like a porcupine.
I'd like to see more branched evolutions. Perhaps one with a new tadpole pokemon that could evolve into either a water/fighting salamander or a water/psychic For fossils, I want a T-Rex. I'm surprised we don't have one yet. Of course, eevee evolutions. My personal fave would be a steel type that resembles a robot: Roboteon. A flying evo that resembles a griffin would be pretty sweet as well . -------------------- PANE Mod PANE x2 (click to show ) Credit for 2gamer's Seel of Approval (click to show ) |

:o
EDIT: Toogee reminded me! A T-Rex would be so much fun, and I'd love a Stegosaurus. Those two are my favorite dinosaurs. This post has been edited by Indoor Survival: Feb 9 2013, 02:01 PM -------------------- |

Now I must get another shiny eevee on GPX for the upcoming birth of this baby. Might as well start now. Her Japanese name is Ninfia for anyone curious. Follows the same pattern as Glacia (Glaceon) and Leafia (Leafeon). Lots of speculation on her being a flying-type for her similarity in appearance to the gym leader Skyla, a fighting-type because Nin could stand for Ninja or a bug-type because it could stand for nymph which could imply an insect stage. But hey who knows. We could all be wrong and she's a dragon-type xD Or maybe our first dual-type eeveelution? Dunno but she's definitely growing on me the more and more I see her. -------------------- |

She's super cute. :)
I'm guessing either Flying or Normal. EDIT: Also, finally there's a shot of Jolteon that isn't angry or battle-ready. This post has been edited by Indoor Survival: Feb 12 2013, 03:31 AM -------------------- |

eeeee this thing is adorable <3 Looks more like a flying type to me.. they kinda give a bit of a reference to a scarf, which we all know flying etc.

Ooh, maybe we'll finally see the first normal-type Eeveelution! Or maybe fighting-type if Game Freak/Nintendo decide to troll us.
Speaking of goats, since this generation's going to introduce Pokémon #666 it wouldn't surprise me if whatever it is happens to be based on a goat. Idk, maybe Dark/Fire or something similar? Then there ought to be something to be its opposite, like a sort of angel-based Pokémon or something. Unless Nintendo doesn't want to get involved in religious-looking stuff, then nevermind. Going with Toogee and Indoor Survival's ideas of a t-rex and stegosaurus, I'd love to see a triceratops! Unless Bastiodon counts as a sort of triceratops, herpderp. o3o -------------------- Various Things (click to show ) |

On Ninfia: Does anyone else see Victini in those eyes?
Ninfia suggests ninja, which in the pokemon games tends to mean poison type. -------------------- PANE Mod PANE x2 (click to show ) Credit for 2gamer's Seel of Approval (click to show ) |

Man, I see so much victini/milotic in that design.
She's rather cute though, excited to see what type she'll be. -------------------- [align=center]The help page has loads of useful information!

I like it. She's a bit of a girly kyubey. What would be her english name? Ninfeon? I have no idea what her type would be, too... She's an easy psychic type - but there's already Espeon. It might be flying, but isn't she lacking wings? I'd figure an eeveelution would represent its type, so I tought a flying one would have wings. Maybe it's a new type? I'm not looking forward for that, but...
Oh! I know! She must be of the Incubator type! Also, a cheerful jolteooon~ squee This post has been edited by Forget me now: Feb 12 2013, 08:13 AM -------------------- |

I really hope ninfia is a fighting type. There isn't that many fighting types and I'd like one fighting type that's really cute. I really hope it isn't normal just because eevee is already normal.

I see all the Milotic and Victini resemblances, too. XD Her eyes and face frame scream "Victini", while her ribbons scream "Milotic".
Also, I don't know why I'm referring to this thing as she. They refuse to up Eevee's female ratio to 50%, something that they really should just go ahead and do. <_< They keep making the Eeveelutions more and more feminine, but make you go through hell to catch or hatch a female. B-but...the Fighting Eevee needs to be named Champeon! I had it all planned out in my head! D: Actually, knowing how this series does, they'll probably be like: "Its Steel! Boosh!" -------------------- |

Such a cute eeveelution. I want it.
And I would love to see another owl pokemon. A goat pokemon also sounds nice. -------------------- |

I'm just going to hope that's not the only Eeveelution we get this gen. I don't have anything against it but it's somewhat... disappointing.
Also, it's obviously Fire/Fighting like Fennekin will be. *beats on the dead horse some more* -------------------- |

I think Ninfia's really cute, even if it looks like it borrowed a lot from Milotic's color scheme. The fact that they left the type a secret is interesting, too... Hopefully this generation doesn't turn into "45904359043 old Pokemon get evolutions okay have fun", but I'm hoping it isn't devoid of them either. Give me a few new evolutions for old Pokemon, but keep it that way - a few.
