Every time i try to pick up an egg from the shelter, the site says "Invalid Pokemon selected. Ensure you only have one instance of the Shelter open.".
I'm using Chrome version 83.0.4103.61
That means someone else has grabbed that egg before you did. Make sure you've refreshed the Shelter and it hasn't been sitting open for a few minutes (or longer).
Unfortunately, during events like SWSHs with a high demand for certain species of egg, this error is sometimes just going to show up because there are so many people hunting for a small supply of eggs. A good way to help reduce this problem is by breeding the Pokemon you're hunting for; this means you can take one from your Daycare, so you only need to grab 5 at a time from the Shelter instead of 6, and the other ones you've bred will be sent to the Shelter, so there'll be a larger supply of eggs and other people will be less likely to grab the ones you're trying to grab.
