Normal Moves are super effective against Ghost types? |

O.k.. I just recently joined the site, finding it tons of fun and also addictive.. but I have one issue.. The Raticate that "Youngster Joey" uses in the NPC battle.
It hits like a tank against some of my more fully evolved Pokemon [Nidoking lvl 25, Gyarados Lvl 23, and Gengar lvl 25].. hell it's tackle move hits my Gengar for a one shit KO... but aren't Normal moves not suppose to effect Ghost types and vice versa? Is this a bug? or just a programming error?

They are ( I believe the admins thought it wouldn't render normal moves/types completely useless)

Well.. can't most normal types learn like a different type of move besides normal? Like "Psychic", "Thunderbolt", "Rollout" Etc?

They can... but the move and battle system on GPX+ is drastically different from how it is in the games.
