You can now set your own custom description for your hatched Pokémon by choosing the 'Set description' option from the Options drop-down on the Party page or from the Owner Options list on its Info page. Its description will then show on its Info page, right under its most general information.
You can use this for whatever you want. To give your Pokémon your own little dreamed up back-story, some notes about how it's your favorite, or about how it doesn't like cabbage. I suppose you could use it to state what berry it likes, but that's pretty lame if you ask me. And it's pointless for when you're ready to toss it into the PC, since they can't be fed anyways. If pointing out the berries through the descriptions gets too out of control, I can always just make it so you can't mention them at all.  Anyways, enjoy. Oh and descriptions are completely removed, like nicknames, if you abandon the Pokémon. EDIT: Since it was asked: descriptions will stay on your Pokémon no matter what (unless you abandon them). Also, you can now add descriptions and set nicknames for Pokémon that are in your PC (or Daycare) - they don't have to be in your Party. -------------------- Want a rotating avatar like mine? Thats a pretty cool idea. If I ever come back to egg hunting, (which I'm sure I will one day) I'll remember to type up the backstory for my Charizard.
Need to think up something funny for my Dracowymsy as well
