The Gateway – OOC and DiscussionA few years ago, mysterious temples appeared all around the world, eight in total. Each of them was different, and each of them full of danger. Many people wanted to know if there was treasure inthose temples, so they tried to get inside to investigate. But none of them could enter. They all were held back by a mysterious force. But there were few people who could enter those temples. Eventually, each temple had been entered by one human. Those humans could make their way to the core of the temple they were in. But in there, a decision awaited them. In a large room, there was a pedestral, on it, a weapon. In each temple a different weapon. And each of them had a guardian. Those guardians explained the ones that had been able to enter, what their role was. What the weapons were for. And then it was up to them to decide if they either wanted to stay in their safe, secure world, or take the offer of the guardian and enter a world, different from ours, yet the same. What will you choose? Will you stay in your nice, secure world or go on the biggest adventure of your live..? If the legitimate owner of the weapon takes it, he will be brough into the other world.
When all the weapons are gathered, to true gateway will appear. The gate to Heaven and Hell, the gate to everything and the endless nothing.
Guarding it or destroying it is the only way to seal its power.
So that is your role. But be aware: Not only the weapons are required. Also, for every weapon there is a gemstone to help it unveil its true power.
Each weapon will enable the owner to take controll of one element. Use this blessing... or curse wisely. The other world and the connection to ours (click to showhide) The other world is like ours, seven continents, two grand oceans, big deserts, large forests. But it is a world of magic, tournaments are held to find out who is the strongest. The other world is ruled by a council and the councils leader, Finiarel.
It is in general a peaceful world, though some dark creatures roam.
In this world, magic creatures live, but some are really a rare sight, like Phoenixes, Unicorns and Dragons. Others, like Hippogriffs, are really common.
The other world is connected to ours through a mirror, more than one mirror to be accurate.
In the other world, there is one big room with thousands of mirrors in it, the gateway. Most of them are sealed, though.
In our world, you can use every mirror to go to the other world. You will end up in the gateway.
If one dies in the other world, his whole existence will dissappeare
in the real world and everyone will thing he/she just left. But he/she will be reborn as a little child, without memories, but able to regain them. About the weapons, elements and gemstones (click to showhide)
The weapon itself enables the owner to controll an element. The gemstone increases the weapons and elements power and th owners controll of it.
Until now, one weapon plus element and gemstone are known. You make up your own, but please be logical, something like a nuke isn't allowed. Also, I don't think you would be able to controll air with a hammer. Something like a fan would be more suiting for that element, wouldn' it? Use something suiting. I decide if it's okay.

Haircolor and Hairstyle: Her hair is white with a few lightblue stipes downwards. (Very light!) It's long, and even though she has it in a high ponytail, it reaches her hip.
Eyecolor: Her eyes seem to be lightblue because of the glasses.
Clothes: Mitsuki wears a white labcoat with a few pockets, wich is unzipped all the time and white hotpants. Her shoes are black overknees. She also wears a lightblue, sleeveless top in the same color as the stripes in her hair. She has a piercing in the right, upper ear and on both lower ears. Through her left eybrow and eye, straight through, there is a scar.
She always wears white sunblasses covering hereyes completely, with lighblue glasses. There is something about them, but she hasn't told anyone yet. But she refuses to take them down. She can use them to scan the area and do quite a few other things. Her arms and legs aren't very strong.
Other: Her skin is pale white, like snow.
Character: Mitsuki is rather calm most of the time, acting distant, coldhearted. She attacks without holding back, but she fights with tactic and strategy over brute strengh. She is difficult to beat because she can use invisible mirrors to create clones of herself, illusions. Also, she is very inteligent, and together with Tess, she can solve almost all riddles. She can't stand peolple who attack and act without thinking. Also, people who avt like little kids and kids themselves annoy her. In fact, she is often annoyed.
Shed doesn't keep her opinion to herself and says what she thinks, even if the other one could kill her. She is sometimes hated, somethin´mes admired for that.
Mitsuki also acts very mysterious and doesn't tell about her past. She only tells friends about herself, but she doesn't have many friends. She keeps to herself, but if she makes a friend, wich she doesn't do very often, she will protect him her life.
She knows when to give up, but when everything depends on a win, she won't give up.

She has short hair which she keeps for practicality also, to annoy her parents who like it short. It starts out with slight greeny blue hints and gradually get's darker, the main bulk being a middle blue and the tips being almost black. It is for the most stright but there is a flick to each strand that make sit look semi-spikey. Her fringe she keeps swept across her face, sometimes showing both eyes but most of the time not, she often covers her right eye.

She suffers from heterochormia meaning she has two eye colours. Her left eye, the visible one , is a dark greeny blue. Her right eye, the one she keeps hidden, is a very pale blue.
Clothes:
She wears a floaty flowy dress. The colours are very similar to her hair, it is mostly a very dark blue bar a few ribbons which are a lot lighter. It is strapless and has a tight band going across the top of her bust and just below. The ribbons are a pale purple blue, and rest on top of the layer skirt part of the dress. It is slightly see through but nothing too drastic.Around the left side of her arm is a ribbon and bow in the same colours as her dress

She suffers from an extreme case of split personality disorder. Making her quite tempermental. She has two defined forms, the look almost exactly the same par a few differences. In a sense she is two people inside one body, this is amplified by the stone and element stuff.
She is a slight girl, built for staying away from things.She stands at 5'5 and weighs very little.
Character:
As Azura, she is very quiet and keeps herself to herself. Not that people really want to hang around with her, she has a kind of otherworldly aura, which seems to worry people. She floats around very lightly , like a dancer and seems to look at the world as if she has never seen it before. Azura is quite naive and childish when she does do anything, and often relies on those around her for help. Which she can find quite hard as she does not often like to speak , and when she does she finds it hard to find the words she wants.
She is a pacifist and hates to fight , avoiding them as much as possible. She gets very nervous around any forms of violence and will try to flee, though if she can't she will just retreat to the most distant spot she can get to.Azura is very aware of her eye colours and keeps the lighter one covered up , nobody is quite sure why but she seems to fear it.
When nervous,which is quite often, she plays with the edges of her dress. Another habit she has when she is nervous is to attach herself to somebodies hand/arm and stay there until whatever it is is over.

quite and reserved she prefers to keep everything shut up. Though when she does speak she is sadistic and cruel. Having little love for anybody but herself she looks upon the world with ill contempt and rather wishes most of it would dissapear.Eirwyn is very smart and understands much of politics and how the word works, she will often to preach to people in a most proud manner about how stupid they are for not know things.
IN fights she brutal and ruthless using her speed to an advantage. She has a thirst of blood and death that is almost unrivalled by the most brutal of men. She detests using weapons in fights and prefers to beat the snot out of people with her bare hands. Eirwyn being very weird, likes to keep a small thing as a memento of the fallen , it can range from eyeballs to a piece of clothing, it purely depends on her mood.
She doesn't mind company, but tends to believe it holds her back from whatever she should be doing. Eirwyn has a twisted concept of friendship as it is and often treats those she considers friends quite badly, unless they impress her, but that can be quite hard to do.

Itsuki (Itsuki) (click to showhide) Name: Itsuki Age: 15 Gender: Girl Haircolor and Hairstyle: Black hair in pig tails that go down to the middle of her back. and has long bangs (that really shouldn't count as bangs cuz their so long) that makes it easy to tell when she's sad,scared ECT because she covers her face with them. tho normally they're kept to the side Eyecolor: Black eyes so dark you can't see her pupils and she looks distant when you stare into her eyes. Clothes: She wears a dark purple skirt with fishnet tights and black boots. and a Dark blue top thats very baggy and the sleeaves are very big and long. She wears her jemstone as a necklace. She has an eyebrow ring and wears dark make up. (because she likes how it looks not because she's goth or anything since she's not XD) Other: Character: Itsuki has a calm personality usually and is very tolerant. The only things that take her out of her calm state is when she is angry or excited. When she is angry she does not hold back. And when she argues she will not end until she is the winner, and if she loses then she refuses to talk about it ever again, and if you bring it up it will pull her right back out of her calm mode. When she is excited she acts just like any other excited person, but usually is quick to go back to her calm state. She finds extremely hyper people annoying unless they are children. She loves kids but dislikes people who act like them, but due to her tolerant personality she never lets on how she feels unless they really get on her nerves. She is incredibly confident and never backs down from a challenge but she accepts challenges with a most calm manner. She enjoys thinking of things as games. She can take anything as competition and often creates games where she gets something out of it (if she wins) (such as if you step on a crack you have to buy me lunch). She hates losing and people who beat her are simply getting themselves into more games weather they want to or not. She is generally a nice person and always thinks of others. but it is very easy for her to start feeling alone. Growing up she had many friends but she started going to a private school and when she did even her best friends started to become more distant. and it created a feeling inside her that if she wasn't with her friends and having fun she'd begin to feel lonely. Even if its staying home alone for a night without talking to anyone shell feel extremely lonely until she see's someone. But most people don't know this because when she's with them she's perfectly content. She considers this her only flaw. All her other flaws she considers to be attributes. Eyecolor: Deep Blue, sleepy. Clothes: Gray-brown short-sleeved hoodie, tan pants, brown canvas sneakers, light brown fedora. Other: His exhaled breath contains a small amount of sand. Character: James is a really laid back and lazy person. Often times he is found sleeping or daydreaming. He doesn't like being bothered in times like this, or when he is eating. He apparently carries a large amount of food in just his pocket (lolhammerspace). No matter how much he eats and eats he somehow manages to remain very slim. James enjoys video games a lot. Because of this, he compares things to video games a lot. For instance, if he needs to take a test, he groups certain parts of studying into points, and attempts to get a high score. Or when he needs to do something very quickly, he thinks of it as a time attack stage. In video games where weapons were present his favorite was always giant hammers, and characters that used giant hammers are his favorite video game characters. Haircolor and Hairstyle: It's that blah color, the lightish brown that's a bit too dark to be called dirty blond, but a bit to light to really be called brown. Its cut really, really short so it dosn't get in her way, and has a tendency to stick straight up.
Eyecolor: She's got dark eyes, they look like dark brown, but when you get close you can see bits of yellow and black all mixed up
Clothes: She wears servicable clothes, meant for active living. Typically a plain white tank top, cargo shorts or pants, depending on the weather, big black boots, and a scuffed leather jacket. She has no piercings. Tess likes to wear one of those intense digital watches, that tells time, date, temperature, etc. however, she rarely wears jewelry. All of her shinies are locked up safe, away from where others might steal them.

Character:
Tess is spunky and tough. She's incredibly intelligent, and likes to make plans before acting. Plans that she promptly throws away when her temper gets the better of her. She's a very active girl, she enjoys working out to help clear her mind, and to stay in top form. She tends to be an overachiever, and dosn't get laziness, she just dosn't see the point. Tess is fairly good hearted, she's not a bad person, but she tends to be very self-absorbed, not given to selfless acts. Some have called her selfish. Tess's biggest failing is greed, she likes the shinies a bit too much, to the point of having commited a few illegal actions in the past.Tess is usually perfectly happy to stay all by herself, being a very solitary person, however she needs constant challenge in her life or else she grows bored. One of the reasons she's turned to thiefing in the past.

umm i can't figure out how to put the little dudes in my post (i'm painfully new here) but its the thought that count's... right? Gabrielle Juroki (Darkrow) (click to showhide) And I be done! Name: Gabrielle Juroki. Prefers to be called "Gab" or "Gaby". Age: 19 Gender: Girl Haircolor and Hairstyle: Her hair is extremely long, reaching down to the floor easily. It is completely white and it seems to shine a little. It isn't combed often so it's all ragged and messy. She has bangs that cover most of her forehead, stopping just over her eyebrows. She never ties it or put it in a ponytail, preferring to keep it loose. She hates it when her hair gets stepped on or tugged on, even if she's basically asking for it by keeping her hair that long. Eyecolor: Gaby has yellow, almost white eyes. The iris is hard to see and you have to look closely. Clothes: Gaby wears clothes that are both comfy and let her be flexible and agile. As such, she wears a white hoodie with cut off sleeves. She always leaves it unzipped, showing that's she's wearing a plae yellow sport bra under it. There is a large pale yellow stripe on the middle of the hoodie. She wears jean shorts that reach her mid thighs. She wears pale yellow sneakers with no socks since she doesn't find socks comfy. She has a tight white belt around her waist with a yellow round buckle. Other: Gab is 5"11' and weighs about 160 pounds. She isn't fat but she isn't slender either. She has more muscle than fat and her body is well-built. She isn't really considered "small" and she is quite imposing. Her arms and her legs have slightly visible muscles. Her skin is slightly tanned. The reason why her body is well-built is because of all her training in martial arts. Character: Gabrielle is a cheerful girl, always having a smile on her face. She has lots of energy and she hates not being in constant motion. She isn't what you'd call lazy and she never refuses to do work, even if she's exhausted. Similarly, she never refuses to fight someone, no matter the odds. This makes her somewhat bold and boneheaded, even if she isn't stupid. In fact, she is pretty intelligent, her IQ being over-average. Nothing special. However, her patience is almost non-existant. As such, she can become irritated quickly if she has to wait. Even if she's irritated easily she rarely resorts to violence. She only hits people during fights or when she's provoked, which sparks her anger instantly. Angered, she's a real nightmare, she hits the one who angered her until the latter is knocked out, which usually doesn't take long since she knows many types of martial arts. She knows Muay Thai, Savate (French Boxing) and Capoeira, the latter being her most favored fighting style. Since she knows Capoeira, she's very agile and flexible, which often surprises others. She has interests in music, especially heavy metal, hard rock and classic rock. Due to this, she often sings songs from the aforementionned genres anytime. Hair color and Hairstyle: Here ; D Ash brown color, mixed with a bit gray. Usually spiked towards the right.

Clothes: Don’t hurt me if I messed something up on the shirt, I’m not all familiar with these things :s
Skyler wares a brownish-black short sleeve shirt; the sleeves go to about his elbow. The shirt has a lion-like creature and a Japanese symbol for ‘Dream’ in white on it. For lower ware, Skyler wares dark green Capri pants, with several large pockets, visible. On the Capri pants, Skyler has a black two-strap belt, connected by a large silver ring. Footwear, that goes to black steel-towed boots.
Lastly, Skyler has a silver piercing in his right ear, and a scar under his right left eye. Around his left arm, Skyler has a old, white-gray bandage covering almost to his elbow, while his right arm is covered by the same bandage as the left only shorter.
Other: Nothing I want, dearie.
Character: Skyler is more of a quite boy, loner, thought with a short temper. Along with the temper, Skyler is a rather tough shell to crack, being oh-so stubborn. But, once you get to know Skyler, he can be rather nice at times. But, unluckily, Skyler doesn’t open up to many, not wanting to trust anyone he doesn’t know. He, par says, tends to be easily scared at times. Though, tends to try and hide that, not wanting to show his weak side. Alas, he also keeps to himself with that.

Weapon: Two Metal Tessen (Or one, I don't really mind). Which is not only used to cooling down, it doubles as a Frisbee, or throwing weapon,

Nathick Rowan (Runi) (click to showhide) Name: Nathick Rowan Age: 17 Gender: Male Hair color and Hairstyle: ---Lookiehere--- Nathick’s hair is a pale blond, bordering on a light grey and even appears white in bright light. Not a strand goes past the nape of his neck. The style is messy and spiky, bangs occasionally covering his eyes while the rest of it tends to flare out a bit around the ears. His bangs are shorter on the left side, so his right eye is often blocked by his hair. In the back, it is smoother, with only a few stray bits sticking out. He almost never bothers with his hair, so it somehow manages to stay in its natural style. Eye color: His left eye is red, almost unusually so, while his right is yellow. However, in his right eye, there seem to be a few pale rings around the iris. Clothes: Nathick wears a creamy white dress shirt, buttoned almost all the way to the top, and a thin black jacket underneath. The shirt is fairly simple, with a collar that can be seen outside the jacket and cuffed sleeves that go past the black, but there is a black emblem on the collar, one like a flower made out of diamonds. If he were to take of the second layer, you would see the same design, except much larger, on the right back side of his shirt. The jacket itself is thin, light and not particularly special, though it is well worn. He only ever does up one of the lower buttons, leaving a deep V shape in the front. He wears deep, burgundy jeans with the regular pockets and zippers. His shoes are simple white running shoes, though they are flat on the bottom and have deep red laces. He wears a black glove over his right hand all the time. For jewelry, his left ear is pierced with a ruby stud, while on his left hand, he wears a silver bangle. Around his neck is a leather cord wrapped several times around. Up the side of his neck, there is a black tribal tattoo that looks like fire going up to around where his hair ends. Other: Nathick is a 6’ even with an average build. He always manages to pull a rose out of nowhere. He has a very high pain tolerance and has memorized the pressure points of the human body. He is blind in his left (red) eye. Character: Nathick doesn’t have a very strong self-esteem, nor is he very imposing on that matter. Soft spoken, he can often be seen with a wry smile or a downcast look on his face. He tends to mix his thoughts and actions, often having pauses before his words and moving before he speaks. He doesn’t enjoy making up his mind, and has a tendency to give up before it’s done, which can result in others thinking lower of him. He likes, respects and trusts almost everyone he meets without a second thought, but that trust and respect is hard to lose. Nathick, again, thinks very lowly of himself. He wont’ hesitate to insult or compare himself negatively, and believes that he can’t do much. Because of this, he doesn’t trust himself and often lets others do the more important things. He often waits for others to speak first before saying anything, and will take almost everything without flinching. Insults, snarky comments and even physical beating seem to wash over him and he doesn’t’ have a problem with it. Whenever he is sad or angry, it tends to be at himself and even if it doesn’t start off like that, he usually directs the emotions towards his slight self-loathing. However, he is envious. He is jealous of how others around him are confident, happy and cheerful almost all the time, even if they are younger than him. This causes him to have a lower respect for himself than normal as well. Nathick can read and understand people with relative ease, and not much gets past his sight, though he is blind in one eye. Also because of this handicap, his reactions are slow on that side and he thinks of himself as half of a human. Element: Fire Weapon: Staff Gemstone: Red Jasper A few last things (click to showhide)
1. Everyone will have a partner with who he/she is a really good team. For example, Itsuki could be James partner and the two of them together could be very hard to beat usw... We're gonna settle the partners as soon as every spot is filled.
2. The gemstone doesn't have to match to elements colour completely, and you can attack with purple flames instead of the normal ones, too. You can go nuts with colours.
3. If you get really angry, you get into Outrage mode. You're stronger, but you can't controll it.
4. There will be a few twists if I feel like it. I will PM the ones affacted from it the most, but no worrys, you got still enough playroom. =D I will do only minor twists that way, so feel free to make plot twists yourself.
5. If you want to be friends with a magic creature in there, why not? BUT the creature is an NPC then. You can also play with the elements on magical creatures. For example, A Phoenix out of Thunder and Lightning for the Lightning person.
6. I'm okay with romances, but don't go overboard, just kissing and holding hands, stuff like that.

(because she likes how it looks not because she's goth or anything since she's not XD) Other: Character: Itsuki has a calm personality usually and is very tolerant. The only things that take her out of her calm state is when she is angry or excited. When she is angry she does not hold back. And when she argues she will not end until she is the winner, and if she loses then she refuses to talk about it ever again, and if you bring it up it will pull her right back out of her calm mode. When she is excited she acts just like any other excited person, but usually is quick to go back to her calm state. She finds extremely hyper people annoying unless they are children. She loves kids but dislikes people who act like them, but due to her tolerant personality she never lets on how she feels unless they really get on her nerves. She is incredibly confident and never backs down from a challenge but she accepts challenges with a most calm manner. She enjoys thinking of things as games. She can take anything as competition and often creates games where she gets something out of it (if she wins) (such as if you step on a crack you have to buy me lunch). She hates losing and people who beat her are simply getting themselves into more games weather they want to or not. She is generally a nice person and always thinks of others. but it is very easy for her to start feeling alone. Growing up she had many friends but she started going to a private school and when she did even her best friends started to become more distant. and it created a feeling inside her that if she wasn't with her friends and having fun she'd begin to feel lonely. Even if its staying home alone for a night without talking to anyone shell feel extremely lonely until she see's someone. But most people don't know this because when she's with them she's perfectly content. She considers this her only flaw. All her other flaws she considers to be attributes. Character: James is a really laid back and lazy person. Often times he is found sleeping or daydreaming. He doesn't like being bothered in times like this, or when he is eating. He apparently carries a large amount of food in just his pocket (lolhammerspace). No matter how much he eats and eats he somehow manages to remain very slim. James enjoys video games a lot. Because of this, he compares things to video games a lot. For instance, if he needs to take a test, he groups certain parts of studying into points, and attempts to get a high score. Haircolor and Hairstyle: It's that blah color, the lightish brown that's a bit too dark to be called dirty blond, but a bit to light to really be called brown. Its cut really, really short so it dosn't get in her way, and has a tendency to stick straight up.
Eyecolor: She's got dark eyes, they look like dark brown, but when you get close you can see bits of yellow and black all mixed up
Clothes: She wears servicable clothes, meant for active living. Typically a plain white tank top, cargo shorts or pants, depending on the weather, big black boots, and a scuffed leather jacket. She has no piercings. Tess likes to wear one of those intense digital watches, that tells time, date, temperature, etc. however, she rarely wears jewelry. All of her shinies are locked up safe, away from where others might steal them.

Tess is spunky and tough. She's incredibly intelligent, and likes to make plans before acting. Plans that she promptly throws away when her temper gets the better of her. She's a very active girl, she enjoys working out to help clear her mind, and to stay in top form. She tends to be an overachiever, and dosn't get laziness, she just dosn't see the point. Tess is fairly good hearted, she's not a bad person, but she tends to be very self-absorbed, not given to selfless acts. Some have called her selfish. Tess's biggest failing is greed, she likes the shinies a bit too much, to the point of having commited a few illegal actions in the past.Tess is usually perfectly happy to stay all by herself, being a very solitary person, however she needs constant challenge in her life or else she grows bored. One of the reasons she's turned to thiefing in the past.

Haircolor and Hairstyle: Her hair is white with a few lightblue stipes downwards. (Very light!) It's long, and even though she has it in a high ponytail, it reaches her hip.
Eyecolor: Her eyes seem to be lightblue because of the glasses.
Clothes: Mitsuki wears a white labcoat with a few pockets and white hotpants. Her shoes are black overknees. She also wears a lightblue, sleeveless top in the same color as the stripes in her hair. She has a piercing in the right, upper ear and on both lower ears. Through her left eybrow and eye, straight through, there is a scar.
She always wears white sunblasses covering hereyes completely, with lighblue glasses. There is something about them, but she hasn't told anyone yet. But she refuses to take them down. She can use them to scan the area and do quite a few other things. Her arms and legs aren't very strong.
Other: Her skin is pale white, like snow.
Character: Mitsuki is rather calm most of the time, acting distant, coldhearted. She attacks without holding back, but she fights with tactic and strategy over brute strengh. She is difficult to beat because she can use invisible mirrors to create clones of herself, illusions. Also, she is very inteligent, and together with Tess, she can solve almost all riddles. She can't stand peolple who attack and act without thinking. Also, people who avt like little kids and kids themselves annoy her. In fact, she is often annoyed.
Shed doesn't keep her opinion to herself and says what she thinks, even if the other one could kill her. She is sometimes hated, somethin´mes admired for that.
Mitsuki also acts very mysterious and doesn't tell about her past. She only tells friends about herself, but she doesn't have many friends. She keeps to herself, but if she makes a friend, wich she doesn't do very often, she will protect him her life.
She knows when to give up, but when everything depends on a win, she won't give up.
