Have you ever been keeping a spot open in your party, then saw something you really wanted, but were afraid to grab because of an event coming up?

Last night I got a MissingNo. which put me up to five pokemon/eggs, and I have been keeping one spot open for the event coming up in the first week of June, but then earlier today I saw the little man again, and wanted to click on him... but if I took that egg I would have no spots left.... I ended up not, but still I really wanted to at the same time.

Anything like this ever happen to you, doesn't have to be legendaries or super rares, just in general.

I've had this happen all the time. Even right now I'm keeping a slot open in my party for the event. I have three slots open but I want to make sure I have slots open incase I come across any rare eggs before the event. If wrose comes to worse, I could always put Suicune into a box and wait until the event is over before putting Suicune back into my party. So don't feel bad, you're not alone. :]

Not really, I am trying to hatch as many eggs as possible so I have hatched most of the about 10000 maturity needing eggs which are usually the rarest. I will leave 2 spaces open tomorrow after I have hatched some more eggs. Second space is for switching pokemon in and out of the daycare, yes I know tomorrow is the 30th of May but I want to have a space free anyway. <3

@Ruki: Yeah, I keep thinking about sticking Pichu in the box... but then I worry cause I am not sure if that lowers the happiness, and I don't want to spend any more time than I need getting it to Raichu.....

@MoogleSam: I just don't seem to get my eggs clicked much.... I still haven't hatched my Entei from the last time Legenaries were given out. I wish that I could get my eggs to hatch faster so that I didn't have to worry.

Same thing has happened to me.

I have one spot open in my party that I'm saving for either MissingNo. or an event Pokémon.

But anyway, I've seen so many eggs at the shelter I've been tempted to take.
Scyther and Togepi being two of them.

Demothi Ryuu: It doesn't lower happiness if you put it in a box, I know because my level 100 pokemon would have 0 happiness by now if it did. XD Also I get clicked by more people while I am a school everyday, only 12 at first, 22 yesterday, over 30 today. I have alot of regular clickers.

it won't. I put my happini in the box before I evolved it and it didn't lose any of it's happiness(thought happiness evolved it XD)

Miyuki: Like I said before... I don't seem to hatch eggs qickly, I am not sure why, but they just don't get clicked.

Justice: If I could I would send you that second Little Man I saw, but he doesn't show up like the items do... he is just below the updates and you have to watch, but I would think it's easy to notice the difference of one more line. Also I have heard that if you open any other tabs or windows after he shows up he will disappear (because they don't want you making room in your party after you find him I'm pretty sure)

MoggleSam & Gilda: Thanks for the info about the happiness not dropping from putting them in the box, that makes things easier for me ^^ I just remember that it did that in the games XD

Yeah, I also try to have empty spot, but isn't always easy. I had 5 eggs, went to shelter, and Riolu egg was in it. Empty spot went away :>

It would be cruel if they did that here, I would be very sad if my Pokemon's happiness decreased if I put it in a box here. I would end up with a lot of depressed Pokemon. I really just want to get more Charmanders but I have to hatch other eggs first so that I won't have to later.

I keep lurking in the shelter for a togapi, but then I saw two ralts and took them,
I want a male and female -crosses fingers-
I hope I can hatch at least one egg before the event -wink wink nudge nudge- xD

When I was hunting so desperately for a Skarmory, this happened ALL the time. I'd go to the shelter... refresh for an hour, get soooo tired of refreshing... only to stumble across a Togepi egg. I mean, really, am I going to turn that down?

Happens to me a lot with Phione eggs. I cannot resistttt.

Its why I'm glad I reached a point where I can start working on evolutions rather than eggs. I keep 5 slots open, Anything I see that I want, I pick up and move out any one of the pokemon that is exceptionally slow at leveling or is the farthest away. In fact that's what happened the night before last when I got my 3rd MissingNo.

I say you should have went for it, And just tried your hardest to hatch one before Monday, It wouldn't take that long :S

My party roster is always kept at 5. Not because of upcoming events, but rather so they're easier to post in some other forums (5 is the max on some I go to). I got tired of removing the [url] portion of the code for one poke just to comply with forum rules.

Lately though, I've been very tempted to take eggs from the shelter to fill out my party. I don't like virtual property that used to belong to other people, so I really prefer lab eggs. But my egg count is really high, so that's getting really hard for me to find new eggs in the lab (repel or not). The shelter constantly taunts me with eggs I don't have.

I try pretty hard to keep my roster at 5 but it never works out. I always end up filling up my party. But I try to stagger the eggs so that at least one will be hatching before the event happens. Call me a rebel or a dummy but it's how I roll.

I can't help it when I see rare eggs in the shelter. I must have locked myself completely about 3 times last night.
