I think they're both nice Pokemon, but Squirtle, to me, is the better Pokemon. I like it's looks more, although I have to say both of their final evolutions are powerful. Plus, I've always preferred water Pokemon over grass.

Squirtle, hands down. First Pokemon I seriously used TMs on - had some silly moveset of Skull Bash/Surf/Dig/Ice Beam, if I recall correctly. As a kid, I was rather impressed that it could take down Gary's Venusaur by itself... So much for "My POKEMON looks a lot stronger", eh, Gary?

I like Squirtle as well but for Turtwig is okay. most I like Squirtle and he cool water and he is turtle myself.
