Darkrai has been captured, and a lot of the fault has been placed on Douken's shoulders. Wanting to step away from the chaos, Douken decides to try to cool himself down through the heat of the Pokemon league, taking on the Gigarte Gym. However, because of the busy scedule, Douken made a deal that if he helped work, he could be promised a gym battle. Will his grief over Darkrai prevent him from achieving his third badge? Will his time to try and think away from it be even more chaotic? Or will Douken break the chain and make him one step closer to the Champion?

Currently, the main goal of the thread is the gym battle with a little bit of side story unless more ideas are given.

Don't be surprised, but i do have some questionable quirks with this, seeing how you have a noticeable collection of dropped threads... Which has also happened to my other character with you.

Still, the case is that you have dropped on me and others a number of times without any notice.

I guess i will still give it a shot again. Just please promise me you will let me know that you need to vanish for something before, you know, vanishing.

If I'm going to promise you that then you have to promise me that you won't take too long to post because that's when I get lazy and start to not care as much. I understand that real life gets in the way sometime but I just want notices if you're going to take awhile, I'll do the same with you.

I've been meaning to catch a Pokemon, so how about I get that done while you and your friend get your characters acquainted? I'll be doing the gym battle as well.

I have an idea. I'll catch my Wooper, who I intend to have a oblivious, childish nature, and he will run into the flower shop and hide, and I'll ask Douken if he saw Wooper, then we'll be introduced.

Well, like I said, I see no problem. As stated earlier, this thread's main attention is the gym, which I doubt those who begin take on. Luckily, Shiro is also new, so I am sure you two can get a good battle out of it. Just remember: Stay active, post well, and fight hard.

Its more to not disrupt the flow and have chunk of information between two people and the other two are shallowed out. Normally, that rule is altered on battles so the combatants don't get confused with surrounding action.
