Time for the yearly SS thread! How did the exchange work out for you this year?
I tossed in a shiny Swalot and got an Anorith back out of it. I hatched a shiny Shieldon some six years ago, and now I finally have another shiny fossil poke. Feels pretty nice~

I didn't put much thought into it this year and I didn't really want to put in any of the special Pokemon I already had so I threw in an extra Togepi I hatched earlier this year. I ended up with a Litten from Badgerlock, which I needed, so I'm happy for it.

Placed in Sh. Armaldo, got Sh. Inkay. Just realized that the activity score on Dec 25 GPX time mattered just minutes after reset, luckily though I've been focusing on those Gen 1 eggs, so pleased nonetheless.

Sent in a duplicate shiny Sigilyph. Wasn't hoping for much, since my shiny dex is more than half full (almost three-quarters full excluding legendaries, novelties and Unown). But I got lucky and got a shiny I didn't have before — Bergmite! <3

I sent in a extra 150 IV Valentacool from the time I was shiny hunting them in 2013 and got a Ancient Alakazam back, a novelty I missed out on from my time away.

I put in a shiny Braviary and got a shiny Heracross. Yay for another shiny dex entry.

Put in my Shiny Hoopa (which was the first hatched on the site) got a Ho-oh (assuming Shiny) in return.
Just confused as Hoopa isn't one the summonables and I got a summonable...

The reason for this is probably because Hoopa is obtained the same way as Manaphy, so it would be in the summonable legendary category like Manaphy was.

I decided to put in a Sh. Deibot that I got from the New Years Exchange and ended up getting a Fossil Archen egg which should hatch shiny.
It's funny because I put in a Sh. Fossil Tyrunt for the New Years Exchange and was surprised to get the Sh. Deibot. I thought that I'd be getting another novelty pokemon that had to be "summoned/resurrected" and not one that could be bred but I pretty much just checked it off as "One less novelty to hatch for so uber amounts of time saved there". So to see the Fossil Archen egg in my party when I got on is like... Wow!

I got a Zerxers for my Shiny Dracowymsy.
I'm just wondering, I know it will be shiny because of my Draco being shiny; will adding a Blue Stone to the mix take away that shinyness, or make no difference?

Threw in Sh. Dialga and got Monstercat's Sh. Palkia Keeping it in the Sinnoh family it seems.. it's gone Shaymin > Heatran > Dialga > Palkia.
No idea who got my Dialga so I hope it makes you happy~

I put in my second Shiny Serperior and got a Shiny Eevee back. Curses, no free Shard
Now to abuse the fact that I know it's Shiny by getting a 1-egg Shiny Hunt
Also, I managed to keep track of the Serperior I sent into the exchange because I threw it into the Vs Seeker before entering it into the exchange, so I can still see where he is.

It'll make no difference -- shininess is determined when the egg is created and doesn't ever change whether you corrupt it or not.
Now to abuse the fact that I know it's Shiny by getting a 1-egg Shiny Hunt
Exchange eggs do not count towards shiny hunts.

Put in the awful shiny Druddiggon I got from the shelter and got a shiny Spritzee... I hate that pokemon.
Although to be honest this saves me the task of having to make a hunt for it, so yay!

I put a random Shiny Rotom i got that someone released and in return got a Porygon Its name is Torbjorn and I'm going to turn it into a Porygon-T.
