Violet sat on the rooftop, glancing down at the people on the street, unaware of her. She was lost in though, thinking back to when she had left home to repair her torn family. Although she had not wanted to get involved in any of the fighting, she needed to find out what had happened to her father, his disappearance a cause of Magma. There had to be a way to find out what had happened to him, and bring him home safely, but in order to do so she would need help from an opposing force...
Suddenly getting to her feet, she moved away from the edge and spun around, having thought she heard a noise...

ooc: you got the pm, right?

Trace walked around. "I'm bored," he mumbled to himself. He sighed and looked uup and saw a girl walking away from the edge of the roof. I wonder who she is and where she's going. He started to climb up the building. When he got to the top, he shouted, "Hey you! Who are you and where are you going?"

Violet frowned, keeping one hand behind her, holding a pokeball. "Nothing." she replied, trying to sound confident. "A person can't sit on a rooftop?"
She was almost certain she was in trouble this time, but this stranger didn't seem as...threatening... as the Team Magma members she had seen. Was he a part of one of the struggling sides, or someone caught up in between?
"Anyways, care to introduce yourself?"

"I'm Trace Warel. Nice to meet you," Trace said and let out Vuk, Dew, and Zex. "This is Vuk," he pointed at Vuk. "This is Zex," he pointed at Zex. "And this is Dew," he pointed at Dew.

Violet relaxed slightly and nodded, releasing her own trio. "I'm Violet, and these are my Pokemon." She said, nodding to the three. "Cinder is my Charmander, Tikal is my Dratini, and Storm is my Rhyhorn. I was a bit worried at first to tell you the truth, I thought you were part of Magma." she explained. "No offense if that caused any."

"Part of Magma? No way. They killed my father. And it's funny that we both have a dratini," he said with laugh at the end.

'Yeah it kinda is..." she replied with a small smirk, before frowning. "And I know what you mean... they took away my father awhile back, because he worked with the Safari Zone in Kanto." Violet explained. A thought popped to mind, before she asked. "I know this may sound a bit strange, but...do you have much experience with battling? I need a bit of practice."

[Wildivlax]

"I need practice too, so let's battle," he said, a smile on his face.

Violet nodded. "Alright then. You choose who goes first."
It appeared to be an even match, but even then she would need all the help she could get from her companions, and a whole lot of luck.

"Vuk vs. Storm," he said hoping Vuk would have the upper-hand.

Alright then." Violet replied. She had some knowledge on elements, and knew that in a small way, Storm would have an advantage, being resistant to fire. Glancing over at Storm and nodding, she watched as her Rhyhorn moved forwards, lowering his body and letting out a huff, ready for anything.

ooc: I'm assuming Vuk would go first, being quicker.

ooc: oh ya

"Leer!"

Storm growled, catching the gaze and shuddering slightly.
"Shake it off Storm! Counter with Horn Attack!"
Storm shook his head, before lowering his head and charging straight at Chimchar, the weight of his steps felt by small vibrations in the roof.

"Vuk, dodge! And scratch!"

Storm watch out! Retaliate with Tail Whip!"
Storm slid to a halt as Vuk jumped, moving his backside as the Chimchar attacked, and knocked the pokemon away.

"Vuk! Return! Zex! Wrap!"

Violet watched as Trace's Dratini attempted to wrap around Storm, and frowned. She tried to think of some way he could free himself, before an idea came to mind. "Storm, try laying down!"
With a nod, Storm got down to his knees, seeming to understand the plan, as he rested his 250lb body against the smaller and frailer Dratini

"Storm, counter with Horn Attack!"
She watched as the pair of pokemon slammed into each other, Storm's charge slamming square into Dew. She was starting to regret leaving Storm to all three of Trace's pokemon. Then again he seemed to know what he was doing, which brought some comfort.
